their_o limit_n in_o christ_n not_o against_o christ_n in_o the_o fear_n of_o the_o lord_n not_o against_o the_o will_n of_o the_o lord_n to_o edification_n not_o to_o destruction_n howbeit_o it_o be_v too_o long_o to_o answer_v all_o that_o may_v herein_o be_v say_v and_o the_o evil_n be_v too_o evident_a so_o that_o much_o need_v not_o but_o this_o must_v all_o christian_a prince_n know_v that_o the_o king_n himself_o be_v bind_v to_o have_v god_n book_n hy_o he_o continual_o and_o thereby_o to_o directe_v his_o policy_n that_o he_o turn_v neither_o to_o the_o right_a hand_n nor_o to_o the_o left_a for_o when_o he_o cast_v away_o the_o word_n of_o god_n from_o his_o policy_n there_o be_v no_o wisdom_n therein_o i_o can_v tell_v you_o further_o of_o licence_n and_o dispensation_n and_o book_n other_o popish_a law_n which_o be_v cover_v with_o the_o cloak_n of_o policy_n howbeit_o all_o this_o be_v but_o a_o crop_n of_o that_o romish_a rainolde_n ear_n and_o so_o to_o bring_v in_o a_o english_a popery_n bern._n nay_o miles_n you_o be_v far_o oversee_v to_o call_v this_o a_o english_a popery_n for_o you_o be_v bind_v not_o only_o to_o obey_v your_o prince_n for_o fear_v of_o punishment_n but_o also_o for_o conscience_n sake_n mil._n this_o sentence_n of_o the_o apostle_n do_v bind_v we_o in_o conscience_n to_o have_v a_o love_n and_o reverence_n unto_o our_o prince_n as_o unto_o god_n lievetenaunt_n and_o of_o a_o faithful_a heart_n &_o conscience_n to_o obey_v he_o and_o to_o assist_v he_o with_o our_o body_n and_o to_o aid_v he_o with_o our_o good_n so_o long_o as_o he_o do_v this_o office_n in_o mainten_v good_a thing_n &_o good_a person_n and_o punish_v evil_a man_n and_o wicked_a do_n for_o this_o cause_n do_v we_o pay_v tribute_n say_v paul_n that_o the_o prince_n may_v be_v able_a to_o maintain_v the_o good_a and_o to_o punish_v the_o evil_a as_o god_n minister_n for_o example_n all_o the_o people_n be_v bind_v to_o assist_v moses_n in_o destroy_v the_o idolater_n and_o that_o idol_n in_o the_o wilderness_n &_o to_o help_v he_o with_o their_o good_n in_o the_o make_n of_o the_o tabernacle_n and_o to_o aid_v jehu_n in_o destroy_v the_o idolatrous_a priest_n and_o temple_n of_o baal_n and_o to_o obey_v hezekiah_n and_o josiah_n in_o the_o destroy_n of_o the_o idol_n and_o idolatrous_a monument_n in_o their_o time_n but_o no_o man_n be_v bind_v to_o obey_v jeroboam_fw-la ahab_n jehoram_n ahaz_n or_o any_o of_o y_fw-fr e_o wicked_a king_n command_v any_o superstition_n or_o idolatry_n though_o for_o conscience_n sake_n because_o god_n place_v evil_a man_n over_o we_o for_o our_o sin_n we_o may_v never_o cease_v to_o do_v our_o duty_n towards_o they_o which_o be_v first_o to_o give_v unto_o god_n ourselves_o whole_o then_o to_o give_v unto_o caesar_n that_o which_o apparteyn_v unto_o he_o such_o tribute_n and_o service_n as_o be_v requisite_a as_o concern_v wicked_a commandment_n we_o must_v say_v that_o we_o must_v obey_v god_n rather_o 19_o than_o man_n for_o israel_n be_v sore_o threaten_v that_o god_n wrath_n shall_v come_v upon_o they_o because_o they_o walk_v after_o the_o commandment_n of_o the_o king_n and_o though_o josiah_n have_v take_v away_o all_o the_o idolatry_n and_o superstion_n which_o manasseh_n his_o graunfather_n have_v set_v up_o and_o his_o father_n amon_n have_v maintain_v yet_o be_v it_o so_o far_o of_o that_o the_o commandment_n of_o those_o two_o wicked_a king_n can_v excuse_v the_o people_n that_o notwithstanding_o some_o repentance_n in_o the_o day_n of_o josiah_n the_o lord_n turn_v not_o from_o the_o fierce_a wrath_n where_o with_o he_o be_v angry_a against_o juda_n and_o jerusalem_n but_o put_v they_o forth_o of_o his_o sight_n for_o the_o sin_n of_o manasseh_n whereby_o we_o may_v see_v that_o we_o may_v not_o obey_v any_o wicked_a commandment_n of_o any_o prince_n unless_o we_o will_v expose_v ourselves_o to_o god_n heavy_a displeasure_n as_o that_o people_n do_v which_o obey_v the_o commandment_n of_o manasseh_n wherefore_o as_o our_o conscience_n do_v bind_v we_o to_o obey_v the_o prince_n command_v good_a thing_n and_o punish_v the_o evil_a so_o do_v our_o conscience_n which_o shall_v accuse_v or_o excuse_v at_o the_o great_a day_n teach_v we_o that_o without_o any_o resist_a even_o pray_v to_o god_n for_o the_o evil_a prince_n we_o may_v disobey_v any_o such_o commandment_n as_o may_v in_o any_o wise_a withdraw_v we_o from_o our_o duty_n toward_o god_n as_o we_o have_v a_o manifest_a example_n of_o daniel_n and_o his_o three_o companion_n refuse_v courtly_a delicate_n and_o in_o other_o their_o act_n afterward_o as_o also_o we_o have_v this_o plain_a commandment_n to_o abstain_v from_o all_o show_n of_o evil_a yet_o do_v we_o grant_v as_o i_o say_v before_o that_o in_o all_o godly_a policy_n we_o do_v owe_v obedience_n in_o the_o bestow_n of_o all_o that_o we_o have_v bern._n what_o call_v thou_o godly_a policy_n
