by_o the_o five_o proposition_n therefore_o she_o do_v not_o teach_v idolatry_n and_o hence_o manifest_o appear_v how_o palpable_o dr._n st._n contradict_v himself_o in_o charge_v the_o roman_a church_n with_o idolatry_n and_o yet_o grant_v she_o to_o be_v a_o true_a church_n unerring_a against_o all_o fundamental_o for_o it_o be_v as_o much_o as_o if_o he_o have_v say_v she_o do_v not_o err_v against_o any_o fundamental_a point_n yet_o she_o do_v err_v against_o some_o chap._n viii_o several_a quibble_n against_o the_o aforesaid_a doctrine_n remove_v from_o what_o we_o have_v hitherto_o set_v down_o may_v easy_o be_v answer_v several_a quibble_n which_o dr._n st._n &_o other_o do_v or_o may_v object_n against_o the_o doctrine_n above_o establish_v the_o doctor_n often_o insinuate_v that_o there_o be_v two_o sort_n of_o idolary_n the_o one_o consistent_a with_o the_o be_v but_o not_o with_o the_o soundness_n of_o a_o church_n the_o other_o inconsistent_a with_o the_o very_o be_v of_o a_o church_n and_o he_o make_v the_o roman_a church_n guilty_a of_o the_o former_a kind_n of_o idolatry_n and_o not_o of_o the_o latter_a whence_o he_o conclude_v that_o he_o do_v not_o commit_v any_o contradiction_n by_o charge_v the_o roman_a church_n with_o this_o sort_n of_o idolatry_n and_o yet_o grant_v she_o to_o be_v a_o true_a church_n but_o this_o objection_n vanish_v to_o nothing_o because_o we_o have_v show_v that_o the_o general_a notion_n of_o idolatry_n allow_v by_o the_o dr._n be_v inconsistent_a with_o a_o fundamental_a and_o essential_a point_n of_o religion_n and_o consequent_o with_o the_o very_o be_v of_o a_o true_a church_n and_o since_o there_o can_v be_v no_o kind_n of_o idolatry_n which_o do_v not_o participate_v the_o general_a notion_n of_o idolatry_n as_o be_v evident_a it_o manifest_o follow_v that_o all_o sort_n possible_a of_o idolatry_n be_v inconsistent_a with_o the_o be_v of_o a_o church_n moreover_o we_o have_v already_o demonstrate_v that_o dr._n st._n affirm_v in_o the_o place_n quote_v above_o the_o idolatry_n allow_v of_o by_o the_o roman_a church_n to_o be_v as_o bad_a nay_o worse_o than_o the_o gross_a idolatry_n of_o the_o heathen_n now_o if_o the_o gross_a idolatry_n of_o the_o heathen_n be_v destructive_a to_o the_o be_v of_o a_o church_n as_o certain_o it_o be_v neither_o do_v nor_o can_v dr._n st._n deny_v it_o how_o be_v it_o credible_a that_o a_o idolatry_n yet_o worse_o than_o that_o shall_v be_v consistent_a with_o the_o be_v and_o essence_n of_o a_o true_a church_n the_o dr._n may_v then_o tell_v we_o that_o one_o can_v be_v a_o good_a and_o pious_a man_n and_o yet_o a_o debauchee_n in_o the_o former_a sense_n but_o that_o if_o one_o be_v a_o debauchee_n in_o the_o latter_a sense_n which_o be_v yet_o far_o more_o horrible_a than_o the_o former_a he_o may_v very_o well_o be_v a_o good_a and_o pious_a man_n without_o the_o least_o show_n of_o contradiction_n and_o then_o laugh_v at_o we_o as_o half-witted_a man_n because_o we_o can_v understand_v these_o nicety_n certain_o there_o have_v never_o be_v yet_o in_o the_o world_n a_o man_n who_o have_v more_o oblige_v be_v inconsistent_a with_o the_o be_v of_o a_o true_a church_n but_o the_o incomparable_a dr._n st._n have_v find_v out_o one_o idolatry_n that_o be_v no-idolatry_n another_o idolatry_n which_o kill_v a_o church_n another_o though_o worse_a than_o the_o former_a that_o make_v she_o only_o sick_a and_o another_o final_o that_o be_v a_o essential_a perfection_n and_o a_o necessary_a ingredient_n of_o require_v damnable_a error_n and_o gross_a violation_n of_o god_n law_n which_o doubtless_o be_v destructive_a to_o salvation_n and_o herein_o according_a to_o his_o aspersion_n consist_v the_o danger_n of_o salvation_n in_o live_v and_o die_v in_o the_o communion_n of_o the_o roman_a church_n that_o she_o teach_v and_o allow_v of_o particular_a enthusiasm_n contrary_a to_o the_o law_n of_o god_n and_o countenance_n rebellion_n contrary_a to_o the_o duty_n due_a to_o lawful_a superior_n which_o duty_n be_v a_o article_n of_o divine_a faith_n and_o herein_o he_o constitute_v the_o pretend_a fanaticisme_n of_o the_o roman_a church_n and_o final_o that_o she_o teach_v and_o countenance_n division_n in_o matter_n of_o faith_n which_o she_o can_v do_v without_o countenance_v minister_n shall_v forge_v any_o thing_n or_o be_v mistake_v in_o the_o least_o kind_n his_o forgery_n or_o mistake_v will_v present_o be_v discover_v to_o his_o eternal_a disgrace_n for_o forge_v or_o mistake_v god_n own_o word_n and_o not_o the_o word_n of_o man_n if_o i_o say_v even_o in_o these_o circumstance_n where_o there_o be_v so_o little_a reason_n to_o suspect_v any_o forgery_n or_o mistake_v they_o be_v teach_v not_o to_o trust_v their_o own_o minister_n why_o shall_v they_o trust_v they_o in_o the_o allegation_n against_o the_o roman-catholic_n till_o themselves_o have_v find_v this_o mistake_n and_o i_o promise_v never_o more_o to_o be_v mistake_v in_o he_o upon_o that_o account_n nor_o ever_o to_o suppose_v that_o he_o proceed_v like_o a_o scholar_n neither_o do_v this_o so_o ridiculous_a and_o ill-favoured_a as_o they_o represent_v it_o to_o be_v since_o it_o be_v so_o like_o the_o christian_a religion_n even_o in_o its_o great_a purity_n that_o be_v compare_v together_o it_o be_v extreme_a difficult_a to_o know_v which_o be_v which_o and_o that_o by_o such_o a_o parallel_a man_n be_v incite_v either_o to_o embrace_v they_o both_o or_o reject_v they_o both_o the_o dr._n go_v yet_o far_o and_o endeavour_v to_o supply_v with_o counterfeit_a zeal_n the_o difficiency_n of_o true_a and_o solid_a reason_n put_v down_o these_o word_n pag._n 11._o i_o ignatius_n and_o other_o canonize_v saint_n of_o the_o roman_a church_n do_v in_o their_o virtue_n miracle_n and_o practice_n resemble_v those_o of_o christ_n and_o his_o apostle_n though_o infinite_o
