christian_n who_o assent_n unto_o they_o or_o rather_o because_o there_o be_v a_o vast_a number_n of_o christian_n that_o unanimous_o assert_v they_o and_o certain_o the_o number_n of_o catholic_n alone_o be_v a_o vast_a number_n or_o will_v it_o not_o be_v a_o madness_n for_o one_o to_o say_v that_o be_v there_o no_o more_o christian_n in_o the_o world_n to_o attest_v the_o miracle_n of_o christ_n than_o there_o be_v roman_a catholic_n he_o will_v not_o think_v himself_o oblige_v to_o believe_v they_o upon_o account_n to_o tradition_n and_o consent_n in_o their_o favour_n when_o as_o countenance_v by_o the_o major_a part_n of_o christendom_n viz._n the_o roman_n catholic_n church_n which_o according_a to_o dr._n st.'s_n concession_n be_v a_o true_a church_n and_o sure_o the_o approbation_n of_o a_o true_a church_n and_o so_o much_o
low_a opinion_n of_o christian_a religion_n even_o when_o it_o be_v in_o its_o great_a purity_n since_o they_o think_v it_o so_o hard_a that_o be_v face_v with_o the_o roman_a religion_n which_o seem_v to_o they_o to_o be_v so_o full_a of_o corruption_n superstition_n and_o abomination_n the_o one_o may_v be_v distinguish_v from_o the_o other_o or_o that_o the_o roman_a religion_n be_v not_o so_o ridiculous_a and_o ill-favoured_a as_o they_o represent_v it_o to_o be_v since_o it_o be_v so_o like_o the_o christian_a religion_n even_o in_o its_o great_a purity_n that_o be_v compare_v together_o it_o be_v extreme_a difficult_a to_o know_v which_o be_v which_o and_o that_o by_o such_o a_o parallel_a man_n be_v incite_v either_o to_o embrace_v they_o both_o or_o reject_v they_o both_o the_o dr._n go_v yet_o far_o and_o endeavour_v to_o supply_v with_o counterfeit_a zeal_n the_o difficiency_n of_o true_a and_o solid_a reason_n put_v down_o these_o word_n pag._n 11._o i_o unto_o they_o without_o any_o blemish_n or_o reflection_n upon_o his_o honour_n why_o may_v not_o we_o without_o reflect_v any_o dishonour_n upon_o christ_n say_v that_o saint_n francis_n saint_n ignatius_n and_o other_o canonize_v saint_n of_o the_o roman_a church_n do_v in_o their_o virtue_n miracle_n and_o practice_n resemble_v those_o of_o christ_n and_o his_o apostle_n though_o infinite_o above_o they_o beside_o it_o be_v manifest_a that_o christ_n and_o his_o work_n as_o be_v a_o infinite_a value_n derive_v from_o the_o dignity_n of_o the_o person_n be_v far_o more_o above_o the_o apostle_n and_o their_o work_n than_o those_o be_v above_o the_o particular_a saint_n of_o the_o roman_a church_n and_o their_o practice_n notwithstanding_o we_o have_v the_o same_o inducement_n and_o topic_n to_o believe_v the_o matter_n of_o fact_n of_o the_o apostle_n and_o prophet_n as_o those_o of_o christ_n though_o so_o far_o beyond_o they_o and_o whoever_o shall_v deny_v the_o former_a without_o doubt_n he_o will_v open_v a_o way_n to_o deny_v the_o latter_a although_o therefore_o the_o practice_n and_o revelation_n of_o the_o particular_a saint_n of_o the_o roman_a church_n be_v one_o deny_v the_o virtue_n revelation_n and_o practice_n constant_o relate_v and_o believe_v concern_v the_o roman_a saint_n and_o approve_v by_o our_o church_n for_o of_o such_o virtue_n revelation_n and_o practice_n we_o speak_v in_o this_o present_a debate_n he_o will_v doubtless_o give_v a_o great_a occasion_n to_o pagan_n to_o deny_v or_o question_n the_o virtue_n revelation_n the_o other_o and_o the_o superminency_n of_o the_o former_a above_o the_o latter_a be_v so_o far_o from_o diminish_v the_o force_n of_o our_o argument_n that_o it_o rather_o increase_v it_o again_o dr._n st._n and_o his_o partisan_n common_o defend_v that_o the_o certainty_n we_o have_v that_o such_o book_n be_v scripture_n and_o that_o they_o be_v pen_v by_o such_o writer_n who_o name_n be_v prefix_v unto_o they_o be_v of_o the_o same_o nature_n with_o the_o certainty_n that_o we_o have_v that_o such_o book_n be_v write_v by_o titus_n livius_n or_o plutarch_n which_o be_v unanimous_o
