true_a and_o now_o here_o you_o will_v have_v a_o total_a destruction_n of_o faith_n unless_o it_o may_v be_v build_v upon_o the_o private_a apocryphal_a report_n of_o abraham_n hartwell_n john_n pory_n john_n brere_o and_o such_o like_a man_n not_o only_o fallible_a subject_a to_o error_n and_o in_o a_o possibility_n to_o be_v mistake_v in_o this_o very_a thing_n but_o man_n that_o can_v be_v conclude_v with_o any_o probability_n of_o reason_n to_o be_v in_o a_o capacity_n to_o know_v the_o certain_a truth_n of_o what_o they_o say_v they_o do_v affirm_v 2._o you_o can_v now_o present_v we_o with_o a_o argument_n from_o mr._n chillingworth_n sufficient_a at_o once_o both_o to_o convince_v a_o heathen_a of_o the_o truth_n of_o christianity_n and_o to_o prove_v the_o divinity_n of_o the_o scripture_n it_o be_v impossible_a that_o god_n shall_v lie_v and_o that_o the_o eternal_a truth_n shall_v set_v his_o hand_n and_o seal_n to_o the_o confirmation_n of_o a_o falsehood_n or_o of_o such_o doctrine_n as_o be_v partly_o true_a and_o partly_o false_a the_o apostle_n doctrine_n be_v thus_o viz._n by_o miracle_n confirm_v therefore_o it_o be_v entire_o true_a and_o in_o no_o particular_a false_a or_o uncertain_a and_o yet_o in_o your_o discourse_n with_o the_o lay_v gentleman_n you_o have_v not_o a_o word_n to_o say_v for_o the_o truth_n of_o christianity_n upon_o protestant_a ground_n nor_o any_o thing_n for_o scripture_n be_v the_o word_n of_o god_n save_v that_o the_o spirit_n witness_v with_o your_o spirit_n they_o be_v so_o 3._o the_o gospel_n scripture_n doctrine_n we_o preach_v be_v like_o your_o universal_a essential_a predication_n eternal_a once_o confirm_v by_o miracle_n in_o themselves_o or_o their_o principal_n they_o need_v no_o more_o this_o proposition_n the_o roman_a church_n be_v infallible_a have_v a_o personal_a mutable_a individuum_fw-la for_o its_o subject_n change_v every_o age_n may_v change_v every_o year_n and_o therefore_o still_o stand_v in_o need_n of_o new_a miraculous_a confirmation_n insomuch_o that_o will_v we_o give_v you_o leave_v to_o suppose_v miracle_n wrought_v in_o
