god_n that_o as_o he_o have_v ordain_v diverse_a administration_n that_o be_v to_o say_v duty_n to_o be_v do_v in_o the_o church_n so_o proportionable_o he_o have_v give_v diverse_a gift_n that_o be_v enablement_n for_o the_o administration_n of_o such_o duty_n and_o these_o gift_n he_o have_v not_o heap_v up_o all_o together_o upon_o one_o man_n for_o one_o man_n be_v not_o able_a to_o receive_v they_o all_o at_o least_o not_o to_o use_v and_o wield_v they_o all_o but_o have_v distribute_v some_o to_o one_o man_n and_o some_o unto_o another_o to_o every_o one_o several_o as_o himself_o please_v so_o the_o apostle_n deliver_v the_o matter_n very_o plain_o and_o pithy_o in_o the_o 1_o cor._n 12.4_o to_o the_o eleven_o verse_n where_o he_o speak_v of_o administration_n gift_n and_o office_n and_o say_v that_o one_o and_o the_o same_o spirit_n distribute_v to_o every_o man_n several_o as_o he_o will_n and_o these_o three_o have_v both_o a_o mutual_a correspondency_n too_o and_o a_o dependency_n in_o nature_n with_o each_o other_o and_o be_v inseparable_o join_v together_o administration_n require_v gift_n gift_n require_v officer_n and_o officer_n require_v administration_n yea_o administration_n require_v not_o gift_n only_o wherewith_o but_o officer_n also_o by_o who_o they_o be_v to_o be_v execute_v and_o gift_n require_v not_o officer_n alone_o by_o who_o but_o administration_n also_o whereupon_o they_o be_v to_o be_v employ_v and_o officer_n require_v not_o only_a administration_n which_o they_o be_v to_o execute_v but_o gift_n also_o whereby_o they_o be_v great_a etc._n etc._n here_o be_v the_o administration_n the_o preach_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o in_o the_o ten_o chapter_n the_o first_o and_o second_o verse_n there_o be_v gift_n and_o office_n suit_v thereto_o for_o christ_n call_v his_o disciple_n and_o give_v they_o gift_n for_o this_o purpose_n that_o may_v suffice_v for_o the_o first_o point_n second_o office_n they_o must_v lawful_o be_v appoint_v to_o such_o office_n by_o the_o authority_n and_o order_n of_o the_o church_n wherein_o they_o live_v tit._n 1.5_o the_o apostle_n say_v to_o titus_n that_o he_o leave_v he_o in_o crete_n to_o ordain_v elder_n etc._n etc._n i_o have_v appoint_v thou_o say_v he_o he_o be_v not_o to_o do_v these_o thing_n of_o himself_o but_o according_a to_o the_o order_n establish_v by_o paul_n in_o that_o place_n and_o there_o be_v great_a reason_n for_o it_o for_o wheresoever_o a_o officer_n be_v thrust_v on_o a_o people_n against_o or_o beside_o their_o order_n or_o custom_n it_o breed_v in_o the_o people_n discontent_n against_o he_o and_o make_v that_o neither_o he_o nor_o his_o service_n be_v well_o accept_v of_o they_o but_o what_o if_o we_o live_v in_o a_o church_n where_o the_o
