through_o vain_a glory_n as_o gentile_n but_o to_o the_o salvation_n and_o health_n of_o the_o hearer_n true_o the_o philosopher_n be_v ignorant_a of_o christ_n esteem_v good_a orator_n and_o composer_n of_o book_n not_o seek_v that_o which_o profit_v all_o man_n but_o tend_v to_o make_v themselves_o esteem_v although_o they_o have_v say_v some_o thing_n that_o be_v profitable_a yet_o not_o withstand_v obscurity_n have_v keep_v it_o hide_v as_o in_o a_o certain_a kind_n of_o foolish_a wisdom_n but_o the_o apostle_n and_o the_o prophet_n have_v do_v altogether_o therwyse_o plain_o expound_v unto_o all_o man_n the_o book_n clear_o and_o manifest_o that_o they_o have_v write_v as_o public_a doctor_n of_o the_o world_n in_o such_o sort_n that_o every_o one_o may_v learn_v the_o thing_n which_o be_v speak_v by_o the_o only_a read_n that_o which_o the_o prophet_n do_v pronounce_v 8._o say_v all_o shall_v be_v teach_v of_o god_n and_o from_o thence_o forth_o shall_v no_o man_n teach_v his_o neighbour_n or_o his_o brother_n and_o say_v know_v the_o lord_n but_o they_o shall_v all_o know_v i_o from_o the_o low_a unto_o the_o high_a i_o brethren_n when_o i_o come_v unto_o you_o 2._o come_v not_o in_o gloriousness_n of_o word_n or_o of_o wisdom_n show_v unto_o you_o the_o testimony_n of_o god_n and_o again_o my_o word_n and_o my_o preach_n be_v not_o with_o entice_a not_o they_o know_v and_o manifest_a unto_o every_o one_o that_o be_v a_o colour_n and_o a_o cloak_v excuse_n of_o their_o slothfulness_n to_o say_v thou_o understand_v not_o the_o thing_n which_o be_v there_o how_o can_v thou_o athing_n at_o all_o understand_v when_o thou_o will_v not_o but_o with_o great_a pain_n light_o see_v it_o take_v the_o book_n in_o thy_o hand_n read_v all_o the_o history_n and_o keep_v in_o memory_n
