say_v that_o it_o be_v a_o light_n shine_v in_o a_o dark_a place_n why_o now_o when_o we_o speak_v with_o the_o scripture_n that_o some_o thing_n be_v difficult_a we_o must_v take_v with_o we_o these_o three_o caveat_n 1._o that_o this_o difficulty_n proceed_v either_o from_o the_o majesty_n and_o high_a excellency_n of_o the_o thing_n of_o god_n contain_v in_o they_o or_o else_o from_o the_o lowne_n and_o weakness_n of_o man_n whether_o unregenerate_a or_o regenerate_v the_o unregenerate_a person_n be_v in_o his_o natural_a estate_n be_v endue_v only_o with_o a_o natural_a understanding_n so_o as_o the_o thing_n of_o god_n be_v beyond_o his_o reach_n and_o compass_v they_o be_v foolishness_n to_o he_o he_o can_v conceive_v of_o they_o the_o regenerate_a although_o he_o see_v we_o not_o how_o if_o never_o so_o gross_a or_o slender_a a_o point_n of_o carnal_a liberty_n be_v contend_v about_o it_o will_v carry_v the_o applause_n almost_o of_o all_o man_n with_o iâ—_n
