judgement_n be_v in_o the_o book_n of_o the_o revelation_n so_o frequent_o and_o fit_o call_v the_o second_o death_n and_o the_o lake_n of_o fire_n into_o which_o the_o wicked_a shall_v be_v cast_v to_o be_v torment_v in_o it_o be_v express_o call_v the_o second_o death_n 20.14_o but_o beside_o this_o they_o that_o argue_v from_o the_o force_n of_o these_o word_n that_o the_o punishment_n of_o annihilation_n be_v all_o the_o meaning_n and_o effect_n of_o the_o sentence_n of_o the_o great_a day_n second_o another_o inconvenience_n of_o this_o opinion_n be_v that_o if_o annihilation_n be_v all_o the_o punishment_n of_o sinner_n in_o the_o other_o world_n than_o the_o punishment_n of_o all_o sinner_n must_v of_o necessity_n be_v equal_a because_o there_o be_v no_o degree_n of_o annihilation_n or_o not-being_a but_o this_o also_o be_v most_o direct_o contrary_a to_o scripture_n as_o i_o have_v already_o show_v i_o know_v very_o well_o that_o some_o who_o be_v of_o this_o opinion_n do_v allow_v a_o very_a long_a and_o tedious_a time_n of_o the_o most_o terrible_a and_o intolerable_a torment_n of_o sinner_n and_o after_o that_o they_o believe_v that_o there_o shall_v own_o law_n and_o have_v take_v off_o the_o edge_n and_o terror_n of_o his_o threaten_n because_o a_o threaten_a have_v quite_o lose_v its_o force_n if_o we_o once_o come_v to_o believe_v that_o it_o will_v not_o be_v execute_v and_o consequent_o it_o will_v be_v a_o very_a impious_a design_n to_o go_v about_o to_o teach_v or_o persuade_v any_o thing_n to_o the_o contrary_a and_o a_o betray_a indeed_o fain_o palliate_v this_o matter_n by_o tell_v we_o that_o by_o these_o direct_a and_o immediate_a address_n to_o angel_n and_o saint_n to_o bestow_v grace_n and_o eternal_a life_n upon_o they_o they_o mean_v no_o more_o but_o only_o to_o pray_v to_o they_o that_o they_o will_v be_v please_v to_o intercede_v with_o god_n for_o these_o blessing_n to_o be_v bestow_v upon_o they_o by_o their_o mediation_n but_o if_o they_o mean_v no_o mean_a why_o do_v they_o say_v more_o than_o they_o mean_v why_o do_v they_o use_v such_o expression_n as_o to_o the_o common_a sense_n and_o understanding_n of_o mankind_n do_v signify_v a_o great_a deal_n more_o than_o they_o say_v they_o mean_v such_o expression_n as_o they_o themselves_o do_v acknowledge_v if_o they_o be_v understand_v according_a to_o the_o most_o obvious_a sense_n of_o the_o word_n will_v render_v they_o guilty_a of_o flat_a idolatry_n especial_o when_o they_o know_v that_o they_o be_v charge_v with_o idolatry_n upon_o this_o account_n and_o since_o to_o clear_v themselves_o of_o it_o they_o will_v not_o alter_v their_o prayer_n they_o just_o lie_v under_o the_o suspicion_n of_o it_o and_o yet_o admit_v what_o they_o say_v in_o this_o matter_n to_o be_v true_a and_o that_o by_o these_o expression_n in_o their_o prayer_n they_o intend_v no_o more_o but_o the_o solemn_a invocation_n of_o angel_n and_o saint_n that_o they_o will_v intercede_v with_o god_n to_o bestow_v these_o blessing_n upon_o they_o for_o the_o sake_n of_o their_o merit_n and_o upon_o their_o mediation_n yet_o this_o sure_o be_v a_o great_a deal_n too_o much_o and_o can_v be_v do_v without_o a_o high_a entrenchment_n upon_o the_o office_n of_o the_o only_a mediator_n between_o god_n and_o man_n the_o man_n christ_n jesus_n but_o let_v they_o not_o deceive_v themselves_o god_n be_v not_o mock_v the_o lord_n our_o god_n be_v a_o jealous_a god_n and_o he_o will_v not_o give_v his_o glory_n to_o another_o i_o have_v not_o bless_v among_o woman_n who_o if_o she_o know_v any_o thing_n of_o the_o folly_n of_o her_o worshipper_n here_o below_o with_o what_o disdain_n and_o indignation_n do_v we_o think_v she_o hear_v those_o infinite_a prayer_n that_o be_v make_v to_o she_o and_o that_o sacrilegious_a worship_n which_o be_v give_v she_o in_o that_o church_n and_o which_o make_v both_o page_n of_o their_o his_o friendship_n and_o favour_n by_o become_v holy_a and_o good_a as_o he_o be_v then_o may_v we_o rejoice_v and_o glory_n in_o god_n as_o the_o psalmist_n here_o do_v and_o say_v who_o have_v i_o
