because_o it_o be_v ungodly_a and_o unlawful_a for_o they_o in_o that_o time_n to_o eat_v flesh_n this_o be_v to_o throw_v a_o snare_n on_o the_o conscience_n of_o his_o subject_n &_o as_o much_o as_o in_o he_o lay_v to_o weaken_v their_o liberty_n but_o if_o express_o he_o shall_v signify_v that_o the_o thing_n be_v otherwise_o free_a in_o itself_o he_o do_v so_o ordain_v it_o for_o the_o profit_n of_o the_o commonwealth_n that_o his_o subject_n according_a to_o the_o example_n of_o the_o ancient_a church_n shall_v thereby_o take_v a_o occasion_n to_o exercise_v a_o more_o abstemious_a and_o severe_a discipline_n or_o if_o by_o the_o word_n of_o the_o law_n itself_o or_o elsewhere_o it_o may_v appear_v that_o the_o lawgiver_n intend_v not_o by_o that_o law_n to_o fasten_v any_o opinion_n of_o necessity_n on_o the_o thing_n so_o command_v there_o will_v on_o this_o account_n no_o injury_n be_v do_v to_o the_o conscience_n of_o the_o subject_n and_o the_o liberty_n thereof_o for_o there_o be_v a_o great_a difference_n when_o one_o thing_n be_v command_v by_o the_o magistrate_n because_o it_o be_v think_v to_o be_v necessary_a oris_fw-la prohibit_v because_o it_o be_v conceive_v to_o be_v unlawful_a and_o when_o another_o thing_n begin_v then_o only_o to_o be_v think_v necessary_a and_o lawful_a after_o that_o it_o be_v command_v by_o the_o magistrate_n and_o unlawful_a because_o it_o be_v forbid_v by_o he_o the_o first_o necessity_n which_o antecede_v the_o law_n and_o be_v suppose_v by_o it_o to_o be_v some_o cause_n of_o it_o be_v contrary_a to_o the_o liberty_n of_o the_o conscience_n but_o the_o other_o which_o follow_v the_o law_n and_o proceed_v from_o it_o as_o a_o essect_v thereof_o be_v not_o repugnant_a to_o it_o the_o reason_n of_o this_o difference_n be_v because_o the_o antecedent_n necessity_n which_o the_o law_n suppose_v do_v necessary_o require_v some_o assent_n of_o the_o practical_a judgement_n but_o to_o the_o follow_a necessity_n which_o proceed_v from_o the_o law_n the_o consent_n of_o the_o will_n be_v sufficient_a to_o the_o performance_n of_o that_o outward_a work_n which_o by_o the_o law_n be_v command_v now_o a_o act_n of_o the_o will_n can_v prejudice_v the_o liberty_n of_o conscience_n as_o a_o act_n of_o the_o judgement_n do_v for_o the_o act_n of_o the_o will_n do_v follow_v the_o dictate_v of_o the_o conscience_n as_o the_o effect_n follow_v its_o cause_n but_o the_o act_n of_o the_o judgement_n do_v precede_v those_o dictate_v as_o the_o cause_n go_v before_o its_o effect_n vi_o these_o distinction_n be_v premise_v i_o proceed_v unto_o the_o doubt_n where_o in_o the_o first_o place_n those_o which_o we_o meet_v with_o concern_v the_o material_a cause_n
