pardon_n of_o his_o sin_n and_o a_o four_o for_o patience_n and_o so_o on_o in_o the_o same_o place_n and_o at_o the_o same_o time_n for_o all_o this_o may_v be_v do_v as_o well_o in_o a_o silent_a meeting_n where_o not_o a_o word_n be_v speak_v but_o there_o be_v one_o form_n of_o prayer_n for_o all_o to_o join_v together_o in_o that_o with_o the_o unite_a force_n of_o the_o whole_a congregation_n their_o petition_n may_v go_v up_o to_o heaven_n the_o matter_n now_o in_o dispute_n be_v whether_o it_o be_v not_o necessary_a in_o order_n to_o this_o unite_a devotion_n that_o the_o people_n all_o know_v what_o they_o pray_v for_o and_o one_o will_v think_v nothing_o need_v to_o be_v say_v to_o prove_v this_o but_o what_o our_o author_n add_v in_o justification_n of_o this_o overthrow_v all_o public_a devotion_n for_o he_o say_v it_o be_v not_o necessary_a to_o have_v attention_n on_o the_o word_n or_o on_o the_o sense_n of_o prayer_n but_o rather_o pure_o on_o god_n which_o be_v to_o make_v all_o public_a form_n unnecessary_a and_o to_o turn_v all_o devotion_n into_o prayer_n of_o contemplation_n for_o if_o this_o be_v true_a all_o form_n whatsoever_o be_v not_o only_o useless_a but_o burdensome_a and_o by_o the_o stint_a the_o spirit_n do_v hinder_v the_o nimble_a flight_n of_o the_o soul_n in_o pure_a silence_n towards_o god_n and_o this_o principle_n must_v lead_v man_n to_o enthusiasm_n and_o unintelligible_a union_n and_o make_v they_o despise_v form_n as_o a_o mean_a and_o dull_a dispensation_n but_o at_o last_o he_o say_v a_o petitioner_n may_v accompany_v his_o petition_n with_o a_o earnest_a desire_n of_o obtain_v it_o though_o the_o language_n in_o which_o it_o be_v write_v be_v unknown_a to_o he_o very_o true_a if_o he_o indite_v christian_n who_o live_v out_o of_o the_o communion_n of_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n in_o the_o eastern_a southern_a western_a and_o northern_a part_n than_o to_o pronounce_v they_o all_o uncapable_a of_o salvation_n on_o that_o account_n and_o therefore_o out_o of_o regard_n to_o god_n and_o the_o holy_a religion_n of_o our_o bless_a saviour_n out_o of_o regard_n to_o the_o salvation_n of_o our_o own_o and_o other_o soul_n we_o can_v but_o very_o much_o prefer_v the_o communion_n of_o our_o own_o church_n before_o that_o of_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n but_o before_o i_o conclude_v all_o i_o must_v take_v some_o notice_n of_o his_o anathema_n and_o here_o i_o be_o as_o much_o unsatisfied_a as_o in_o any_o other_o part_n of_o his_o book_n and_o that_o for_o these_o reason_n 1._o because_o he_o have_v no_o manner_n of_o authority_n to_o make_v they_o suppose_v they_o be_v mean_v never_o so_o sincere_o and_o if_o we_o shall_v ever_o object_v they_o to_o any_o other_o of_o that_o church_n take_v the_o image_n themselves_o for_o god_n he_o be_v safe_a enough_o from_o his_o own_o anathema_n 2._o curse_a be_v every_o goddess_n worshipper_n i._n e._n that_o believe_v the_o bless_a virgin_n not_o to_o be_v a_o creature_n and_o so_o they_o escape_v all_o the_o force_n of_o this_o anathema_n curse_a be_v he_o that_o honour_n she_o or_o put_v his_o trust_n in_o she_o more_o than_o in_o god_n so_o that_o if_o they_o honour_v she_o and_o trust_v in_o she_o but_o just_a as_o much_o as_o in_o god_n they_o be_v safe_a enough_o or_o that_o believe_v she_o to_o be_v above_o her_o son_n but_o no_o anathema_n to_o such_o as_o suppose_v she_o to_o be_v equal_a to_o he_o 3._o curse_a be_v he_o that_o believe_v the_o saint_n in_o heaven_n to_o be_v his_o redeemer_n that_o pray_v to_o they_o as_o such_o what_o if_o man_n pray_v to_o they_o as_o their_o spiritual_a guardian_n and_o protector_n be_v not_o this_o give_v god_n honour_n to_o they_o do_v this_o deserve_v no_o anathema_n 4._o curse_a be_v he_o that_o worship_v any_o breaden_a god_n or_o make_v god_n of_o the_o empty_a element_n of_o bread_n and_o wine_n viz._n that_o suppose_v they_o to_o be_v nothing_o but_o bread_n and_o wine_n and_o yet_o suppose_v they_o to_o be_v god_n too_o do_v not_o this_o look_n like_o nonsense_n
