up_o unto_o your_o highness_n and_o your_o highness_n yourself_o in_o your_o own_o book_n most_o excellent_o write_v against_o m._n luther_n for_o the_o defence_n of_o the_o catholic_n faith_n and_o christ_n church_n do_v not_o only_a knowledge_n and_o confess_v but_o also_o with_o most_o vehement_a and_o inexpugnable_a reason_n and_o authoritys_n do_v defend_v the_o same_o which_o your_o highness_n book_n we_o reckon_v that_o of_o your_o honour_n you_o can_v and_o of_o your_o goodness_n you_o will_v not_o revoke_v yet_o these_o consideration_n notwithstanding_o we_o your_o most_o humble_a chaplain_n and_o bedesman_n consider_v your_o high_a wisdom_n great_a learning_n and_o unfeigned_a goodness_n towards_o we_o and_o the_o church_n and_o have_v special_a trust_n in_o the_o same_o and_o not_o mind_v to_o fall_v into_o contention_n or_o disputation_n with_o your_o highness_n in_o any_o manner_n of_o matter_n what_o we_o may_v do_v we_o be_v content_v to_o make_v promise_n unto_o your_o highness_n that_o in_o all_o such_o act_n law_n and_o ordinance_n as_o upon_o your_o lay_n subject_n we_o by_o the_o reason_n of_o our_o spiritual_a jurisdiction_n and_o judicial_a power_n shall_v hereafter_o make_v we_o shall_v not_o publish_v nor_o put_v they_o forth_o except_o first_o we_o require_v your_o highness_n to_o give_v your_o consent_n and_o authority_n unto_o they_o and_o so_o shall_v from_o time_n to_o time_n suspend_v all_o such_o our_o act_n ordinance_n and_o law_n hereafter_o to_o be_v make_v unto_o such_o time_n as_o your_o highness_n by_o your_o consent_n and_o authority_n shall_v have_v authorize_v the_o same_o except_o they_o be_v such_o as_o shall_v concern_v the_o maintenance_n of_o the_o faith_n and_o good_a manner_n in_o christ_n church_n and_o such_o as_o shall_v be_v for_o the_o reformation_n and_o correction_n of_o sin_n after_o the_o commandment_n of_o almighty_a god_n according_a to_o such_o law_n of_o the_o church_n and_o laudable_a custom_n as_o have_v be_v heretofore_o make_v and_o hitherto_o receive_v and_o use_v within_o your_o realm_n in_o which_o point_v our_o trust_n be_v and_o in_o most_o humble_a manner_n we_o desire_v your_o grace_n that_o it_o may_v so_o be_v that_o upon_o the_o refusal_n of_o your_o consent_n which_o we_o presume_v that_o we_o need_v not_o fear_n but_o yet_o if_o any_o such_o thing_n shall_v fall_v your_o highness_n will_v be_v then_o content_v we_o may_v exercise_v our_o jurisdiction_n as_o far_o as_o it_o shall_v be_v think_v necessary_a unto_o we_o for_o the_o maintenance_n of_o christ_n faith_n and_o for_o the_o reformation_n of_o sin_n according_a to_o our_o office_n and_o the_o vocation_n that_o god_n have_v call_v we_o unto_o as_o for_o the_o second_o part_n concern_v law_n that_o in_o time_n past_a have_v be_v make_v by_o we_o or_o by_o our_o predecessor_n contrary_a to_o the_o law_n of_o this_o your_o realm_n and_o to_o your_o prerogative_n as_o it_o be_v pretend_v to_o this_o point_n we_o your_o highness_n most_o humble_a chaplain_n answer_v and_o say_v that_o such_o our_o law_n by_o our_o predecessor_n within_o this_o realm_n make_v as_o contain_v any_o matter_n contrary_a to_o your_o law_n or_o
