africa_n and_o barbary_n in_o heat_n barbary_n exceed_v andalousia_n andalousia_n castille_n and_o arragon_n surpass_v biscaie_n and_o france_n and_o the_o more_o they_o decline_v to_o the_o north_n reason_n the_o one_o for_o the_o nearness_n of_o the_o sun_n the_o other_o for_o that_o his_o beam_n reflect_v direct_o and_o the_o three_o for_o that_o it_o do_v participate_v and_o feel_v this_o swift_a and_o sudden_a motion_n of_o the_o heaven_n see_v what_o reason_n and_o discourse_n teach_v we_o touch_v the_o cause_n of_o heat_n and_o cold_a upon_o the_o region_n of_o the_o earth_n but_o what_o shall_v we_o say_v of_o the_o two_o other_o quality_n wet_a and_o dry_a even_o the_o same_o for_o the_o drought_n seem_v to_o grow_v by_o the_o nearness_n of_o the_o sun_n and_o moistness_n be_v retire_v far_o off_o for_o that_o the_o night_n be_v cold_a than_o the_o day_n be_v likewise_o more_o moist_a and_o the_o day_n which_o be_v dry_a be_v also_o hot_a winter_n whilst_o the_o sun_n run_v his_o course_n far_o off_o be_v more_o cold_a and_o rainy_a and_o summer_n when_o the_o sun_n be_v near_o be_v more_o hot_a and_o dry_a for_o even_o as_o the_o fire_n have_v the_o property_n to_o parch_v and_o burn_v so_o have_v it_o to_o dry_v up_o the_o moistness_n these_o thing_n therefore_o consider_v aristotle_n and_o other_o philosopher_n attribute_n unto_o the_o region_n of_o the_o strict_o &_o whence_o the_o error_n shall_v proceed_v we_o will_v first_o show_v the_o truth_n as_o assure_a experience_n do_v teach_v we_o then_o will_v we_o prove_v it_o although_o it_o be_v very_o difficult_a and_o will_v endeavour_v to_o give_v a_o reaâ—on_n follow_v the_o term_n of_o philosophy_n the_o last_o point_n that_o we_o propound_v that_o the_o drought_n be_v great_a whenas_o the_o sun_n be_v near_a to_o the_o earth_n seem_v certain_a and_o infallible_a and_o yet_o it_o be_v very_o false_a fâ—r_v there_o be_v never_o great_a abundance_n of_o rain_n in_o the_o burn_a zone_n then_o whenas_o the_o sun_n go_v direct_o over_o they_o and_o be_v very_o near_o true_o it_o be_v a_o admirable_a
