surety_n for_o excise_n shall_v be_v answerable_a for_o the_o arrear_n 12_o car._n 2._o cap._n 11._o and_o all_o other_o officer_n which_o be_v heretofore_o employ_v in_o the_o receipt_n of_o the_o excise_n farmer_n or_o collector_n of_o excise_n which_o be_v and_o stand_v charge_v with_o or_o accountable_a for_o any_o duty_n of_o excise_n by_o he_o or_o they_o receive_v farm_a or_o detain_v or_o any_o way_n due_a from_o the_o person_n before_o name_v or_o any_o of_o they_o and_o not_o pardon_v by_o the_o late_a act_n entitle_v a_o act_n of_o free_a and_o general_a pardon_n indemnity_n and_o oblivion_n that_o there_o and_o in_o such_o case_n all_z and_o every_o the_o surety_n of_o such_o person_n and_o person_n charge_v or_o chargeable_a as_o aforesaid_a shall_v be_v deem_v and_o write_v wherein_o shall_v be_v two_o colume_n the_o one_o contain_v the_o name_n of_o the_o person_n and_o number_n of_o hearth_n and_o stove_n in_o their_o respective_a possession_n that_o be_v chargeable_a by_o the_o say_a act_n and_o the_o other_o the_o name_n of_o the_o person_n and_o number_n of_o hearth_n and_o stove_n in_o their_o respective_a possession_n which_o be_v not_o chargeable_a by_o the_o say_a act_n which_o be_v so_o receive_v by_o such_o respective_a high_a constable_n or_o other_o like_a officer_n as_o aforesaid_a and_o compare_v together_o shall_v within_o six_o day_n after_o such_o receipt_n be_v transmit_v to_o the_o two_o next_o respective_a justice_n of_o the_o peace_n who_o be_v hereby_o empower_v to_o examine_v the_o say_a respective_a high-constable_n or_o other_o like_a officer_n as_o aforesaid_a petty_a constable_n headborough_z or_o tythingman_n upon_o oath_n concern_v the_o truth_n and_o faithfulness_n of_o their_o act_n in_o the_o premise_n which_o be_v do_v the_o say_a justice_n shall_v within_o ten_o day_n after_o such_o examination_n sign_n and_o transmit_v the_o say_a book_n and_o roll_n together_o with_o the_o say_v original_a account_n so_o endorse_v as_o aforesaid_a and_o file_v together_o unto_o the_o respective_a clerk_n of_o the_o peace_n who_o shall_v within_o twenty_o day_n after_o receipt_n thereof_o
