great_a principle_n and_o yet_o as_o if_o he_o have_v there_o settle_v it_o upon_o sure_a demonstration_n he_o begin_v his_o 2_o d._n chapter_n with_o these_o word_n by_o confere_v these_o proof_n and_o reason_n draw_v from_o the_o authority_n of_o the_o scripture_n where_o those_o proof_n and_o reason_n for_o adam_n sovereignty_n be_v bate_v that_o of_o honour_n thy_o father_n above_o or_o any_o where_o in_o the_o whole_a treatise_n give_v any_o other_o proof_n of_o adam_n royal_a authority_n other_o then_o by_o often_o repeat_v it_o which_o among_o some_o man_n go_v for_o argument_n i_o desire_v any_o body_n for_o he_o to_o show_v i_o the_o place_n and_o page_n that_o i_o may_v be_v convince_v of_o my_o mistake_n and_o acknowledge_v my_o oversight_n if_o no_o such_o argument_n be_v to_o be_v find_v i_o beseech_v those_o man_n who_o have_v so_o much_o cry_v up_o this_o book_n to_o consider_v whether_o they_o do_v not_o give_v the_o world_n cause_n to_o suspect_v that_o it_o be_v not_o the_o force_n of_o reason_n and_o argument_n that_o make_v they_o for_o absolute_a monarchy_n but_o some_o other_o by_o interest_n and_o therefore_o be_v resolve_v to_o applaud_v any_o author_n that_o write_v in_o favour_n of_o this_o doctrine_n whether_o he_o support_v it_o with_o reason_n or_o no._n but_o i_o hope_v they_o do_v not_o expect_v that_o rational_a and_o indifferent_a man_n shall_v be_v bring_v over_o to_o their_o opinion_n because_o this_o their_o great_a dr._n of_o it_o in_o a_o discourse_n make_v on_o purpose_n to_o set_v up_o the_o absolute_a monarchical_a power_n of_o adam_n in_o opposition_n to_o the_o natural_a freedom_n of_o mankind_n have_v say_v so_o little_a to_o prove_v it_o from_o whence_o it_o be_v rather_o natural_o to_o be_v conclude_v that_o there_o be_v little_a to_o be_v say_v 14._o but_o that_o i_o may_v omit_v no_o care_n to_o inform_v myself_o in_o our_o a_o s_o full_a sense_n i_o consult_v his_o all_o the_o creature_n on_o it_o so_o that_o as_o long_o as_o adam_n live_v no_o man_n can_v claim_v or_o enjoy_v any_o thing_n but_o by_o donation_n assignation_n or_o permission_n from_o he_o i_o wonder_v etc._n etc._n o._n 165._o here_o we_o have_v the_o sum_n of_o all_o his_o argument_n for_o adam_n sovereignty_n and_o against_o natural_a freedom_n which_o i_o find_v up_o and_o down_o in_o
