regiment_n and_o in_o devise_v law_n order_n and_o decree_n than_o we_o ourselves_o be_v so_o well_o able_a to_o conceive_v who_o only_a or_o principal_a profession_n be_v divinity_n but_o say_v they_o of_o these_o chauncellor_n and_o other_o lawyer_n which_o be_v mere_a lie_v man_n and_o unlearned_a in_o divinity_n by_o their_o own_o law_n ought_v to_o be_v no_o member_n of_o the_o synod_n governor_n if_o they_o spare_v not_o before_o to_o call_v they_o popish_a and_o profane_a no_o marvel_n if_o they_o call_v they_o mere_a lie_v man_n and_o unlearned_a in_o divinity_n but_o see_v here_o the_o indifferency_n of_o these_o our_o learned_a brother_n when_o they_o speak_v of_o their_o govern_v elder_n in_o every_o congregation_n they_o forsooth_o be_v not_o lay_v man_n but_o make_v a_o chancellor_n or_o other_o lawyer_n to_o be_v no_o mere_a lay_n man_n in_o respect_n of_o the_o ecclesiastical_a office_n that_o they_o choose_v he_o unto_o as_o well_o as_o can_v that_o particular_a parish_n or_o congregation_n yea_o but_o say_v they_o these_o chauncellor_n and_o other_o lawyer_n they_o be_v unlearned_a in_o divinity_n lawyer_n i_o marvel_v that_o our_o brother_n in_o divinity_n too_o profess_v the_o study_n that_o be_v even_o next_o unto_o divinity_n and_o in_o a_o great_a part_n consist_v on_o divinity_n than_o those_o temporal_a man_n that_o be_v altogether_o or_o for_o the_o most_o part_n train_v up_o in_o worldly_a matter_n and_o in_o mechanical_a occupation_n and_o have_v little_a mind_n or_o leisure_n and_o less_o help_n of_o fear_v to_o employ_v themselves_o in_o any_o deep_a study_n in_o divinity_n yea_o many_o of_o they_o utter_o unlearned_a what_o a_o great_a vanity_n be_v in_o this_o deal_n and_o yet_o these_o say_v they_o mean_v through_o christ_n as_o because_o it_o do_v fervent_o kindle_v their_o love_n towards_o god_n so_o for_o curious_a and_o carnal_a pastor_n election_n lack_v the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n to_o have_v continual_o before_o their_o eye_n the_o sentence_n of_o god_n predestination_n be_v a_o most_o dangerous_a downfall_n whereby_o the_o devil_n do_v thrust_v they_o either_o into_o desperation_n or_o into_o recklessness_n of_o most_o unclean_a live_n no_o less_o perilous_a than_o desperation_n furthermore_o we_o must_v receive_v god_n promise_n in_o such_o wise_a as_o they_o be_v general_o set_v grace_n and_o such_o like_a matter_n may_v not_o our_o brother_n be_v ashamed_a so_o gross_o and_o palpable_o to_o fall_v from_o this_o grace_n of_o tell_v the_o truth_n so_o oftentimes_o before_o but_o special_o here_o in_o so_o great_a a_o matter_n challenge_v one_o of_o the_o principal_a article_n of_o our_o religion_n for_o gross_a and_o palpable_a error_n or_o untruth_n and_o themselves_o ourselves_o or_o to_o make_v the_o acknowledgement_n of_o all_o those_o diverse_a error_n and_o disclaim_v they_o when_o they_o shall_v be_v specify_v and_o so_o prove_v yet_o be_v not_o this_o well_o do_v of_o our_o brother_n to_o burden_n we_o with_o any_o especial_o with_o gross_a and_o palpable_a error_n and_o those_o diverse_a and_o not_o so_o much_o as_o name_v they_o that_o we_o may_v see_v
