and_o the_o like_a abuâ—â—s_fw-la it_o be_v think_v meet_a and_o convenient_a by_o this_o present_a synod_n that_o the_o say_a communion_n table_n in_o all_o chancell_v or_o chapel_n be_v decent_o sever_v with_o rail_n to_o preserve_v they_o from_o such_o or_o worse_a profanation_n and_o because_o the_o administration_n of_o holy_a thing_n be_v to_o be_v perform_v with_o all_o possible_a decency_n and_o reverence_n therefore_o we_o judge_v it_o fit_a and_o convenient_a according_a to_o the_o word_n of_o the_o service-book_n establish_v by_o act_n of_o parliament_n draw_v near_o etc._n etc._n that_o all_o communicant_n with_o all_o humble_a reverence_n shall_v draw_v near_o and_o approach_v to_o the_o holy_a table_n there_o to_o receive_v the_o divine_a mystery_n which_o have_v heretofore_o in_o some_o place_n be_v unfit_o carry_v up_o and_o down_o by_o the_o minister_n unless_o it_o shall_v be_v otherwise_o appoint_v in_o respect_n of_o the_o incapacity_n of_o the_o place_n or_o other_o inconvenienceâ—_n by_o the_o bishop_n himself_o in_o his_o jurisdiction_n and_o other_o ordinary_n respective_o in_o they_o and_o last_o whereas_o the_o church_n be_v the_o house_n of_o god_n dedicate_v to_o his_o holy_a worship_n and_o therefore_o ought_v to_o mind_v we_o both_o oâ—_n the_o greatness_n and_o goodness_n of_o his_o divine_a majesty_n certain_a it_o be_v that_o the_o acknowledgement_n thereof_o not_o only_o inward_o in_o our_o heart_n but_o also_o outward_o with_o our_o body_n must_v needs_o be_v pious_a in_o itself_o profitable_a unto_o we_o and_o edify_v unto_o other_o we_o therefore_o think_v it_o very_o meet_v and_o behooveful_a and_o hearty_o commend_v it_o to_o all_o good_a and_o well_o affect_a people_n member_n of_o this_o church_n that_o they_o be_v ready_a to_o tender_v unto_o the_o lord_n the_o say_a acknowledgement_n by_o do_v reverence_n and_o obeisance_n both_o at_o their_o come_n in_o and_o go_v out_o of_o the_o say_a church_n chancel_n or_o chapel_n according_a to_o the_o most_o ancient_a custom_n of_o the_o primitive_a church_n in_o the_o pure_a time_n and_o of_o this_o church_n also_o for_o many_o year_n of_o the_o reign_n of_o quâ—en_v elizabeth_n the_o revive_v therefore_o of_o this_o ancient_a and_o laâ—dable_a custom_n we_o hearty_o commend_v to_o the_o serious_a considâ—ration_n of_o all_o good_a people_n not_o with_o any_o intention_n to_o exhibit_v any_o religious_a worship_n to_o the_o communion_n table_n the_o east_n or_o church_n or_o any_o thing_n therein_o contain_v in_o so_o do_v or_o to_o perform_v the_o say_a gesture_n in_o the_o celebration_n of_o the_o holy_a euchaâ—ist_n upon_o any_o opinion_n of_o a_o corporal_a pâ—esence_n of_o the_o body_n of_o jesus_n christ_n on_o the_o holy_a table_n or_o in_o the_o mystical_a element_n but_o only_o for_o the_o advancement_n of_o god_n majesty_n and_o to_o give_v he_o alone_o that_o honour_n and_o glory_n that_o be_v due_a unto_o he_o and_o no_o or_o diminution_n from_o that_o allowance_n to_o any_o bishop_n of_o visitatory_n article_n which_o he_o do_v last_o before_o in_o any_o diocese_n within_o his_o province_n approve_v of_o but_o call_v for_o the_o same_o shall_v hold_v and_o give_v that_o only_a for_o a_o perpetual_a rule_n and_o then_o eveâ—y_v paâ—ish_v shall_v be_v bind_v only_o to_o take_v the_o say_a book_n from_o the_o arch-deacon_n and_o other_o have_v a_o peculiar_a or_o exempt_a jurisdiction_n but_o once_o from_o that_o time_n in_o three_o year_n in_o case_n they_o do_v make_v it_o appear_v that_o they_o have_v the_o say_a book_n remain_v in_o their_o public_a châ—st_a for_o the_o use_n of_o the_o parish_n and_o from_o euâ—ry_a bishop_n they_o shall_v receive_v the_o say_a article_n at_o the_o episcopal_a visitation_n only_o and_o in_o manner_n and_o form_n as_o former_o they_o have_v be_v accustom_v to_o do_v and_o at_o no_o great_a price_n than_o what_o have_v be_v usual_o pay_v in_o the_o say_a diocese_n respective_o x._o concerning_o the_o conversation_n of_o the_o clergy_n the_o sober_a graveâ—_z and_o exemplary_a conversation_n of_o all_o those_o that_o be_v employ_v in_o administration_n of_o holy_a thing_n be_v of_o great_a avail_n for_o the_o furtherance_n of_o pietieâ—_n it_o have_v be_v the_o religious_a care_n of_o the_o church_n of_o england_n strict_o to_o enjoin_v to_o all_o
