which_o annuity_n shall_v commence_v from_o the_o 29_o of_o september_n 1693._o and_o be_v pay_v at_o the_o four_o most_o usual_a feast_n in_o the_o year_n and_o upon_o payment_n of_o any_o such_o redeemable_a upon_o payment_n of_o principal_a and_o interest_n provide_v it_o be_v within_o 3_o year_n after_o this_o session_n of_o parliament_n if_o any_o such_o debt_n due_a to_o any_o of_o the_o and_o solicitor_n what_o they_o judge_v may_v be_v reasonable_a and_o that_o to_o be_v allow_v in_o the_o account_n of_o the_o say_a revenue_n and_o if_o they_o demand_v or_o receive_v more_o than_o shall_v be_v so_o adjudge_v due_a to_o they_o they_o shall_v forfeit_v treble_a the_o sum_n receive_v to_o be_v recover_v with_o cost_v of_o suit_n by_o such_o person_n as_o will_v sue_v for_o the_o case_n after_o the_o deduction_n and_o allowance_n of_o the_o say_v two_o thousand_o pound_n during_o the_o seven_o year_n there_o shall_v not_o be_v raise_v and_o pay_v to_o the_o orphan_n and_o creditor_n out_o of_o the_o residue_n of_o the_o profit_n of_o the_o aforesaid_a several_a provision_n and_o fond_n so_o much_o money_n as_o will_v full_o satisfy_v all_o the_o say_a orphan_n and_o to_o the_o condition_n of_o redemption_n hereafter_o mention_v xiii_o cent._n if_o the_o 1200000_o l._n be_v not_o pay_v by_o 1_o june_n 1694._o the_o contributor_n to_o receive_v 8_o l._n per_fw-la cent._n that_o in_o case_n the_o whole_a sum_n of_o 1200000_o l._n shall_v not_o be_v advance_v and_o pay_v into_o the_o receipt_n of_o exchequer_n before_o the_o first_o of_o january_n 1694._o that_o twelve_o month_n notice_n after_o the_o first_o of_o august_n 1705._o cease_v after_o one_a of_o august_n 1705._o upon_o repayment_n of_o 1200000_o l._n the_o corporation_n to_o cease_v upon_o repayment_n by_o parliament_n of_o the_o say_a sum_n of_o 1200000_o l._n or_o such_o part_n thereof_o as_o shall_v be_v pay_v and_o advance_v as_o aforesaid_a unto_o the_o respective_a subscriber_n and_o contributor_n of_o the_o say_a sum_n of_o 1200000_o l._n or_o such_o part_n thereof_o as_o shall_v be_v pay_v and_o advance_v their_o heir_n successor_n and_o assign_v and_o of_o all_o the_o arrear_n of_o the_o say_v yearly_a payment_n of_o 100000_o l._n or_o such_o proportionable_a part_n thereof_o according_a to_o the_o sum_n which_o shall_v be_v pay_v and_o advance_v then_o and_o from_o thence_o forward_a the_o say_v yearly_a payment_n and_o every_o of_o they_o of_o 100000_o l._n or_o such_o proportionable_a part_n and_o every_o part_n thereof_o and_o the_o say_a corporation_n shall_v absolute_o cease_v and_o determine_v fourteen_o mony_n the_o commissioner_n of_o the_o treasury_n to_o issue_v their_o warrant_n yearly_a for_o the_o payment_n of_o the_o 100000_o l._n to_o the_o contributor_n of_o the_o 1200000_o l._n the_o officer_n of_o the_o exchequer_n without_o fee_n to_o issue_n out_o the_o mony_n the_o commissioner_n of_o the_o treasury_n and_o the_o under-treasurer_n of_o the_o exchequer_n now_o be_v and_o the_o lord_n high-treasurer_n and_o under-treasurer_n or_o commissioner_n of_o the_o treasury_n for_o the_o time_n be_v be_v by_o this_o act_n require_v without_o other_o or_o far_a warrant_n to_o direct_v their_o warrant_n yearly_a for_o the_o payment_n of_o the_o say_v yearly_a sum_n of_o 100000_o l._n to_o the_o contributor_n of_o the_o say_a sum_n of_o 1200000_o l._n in_o the_o manner_n and_o proportion_n as_o herein_o before_o direct_v and_o the_o auditor_n of_o receipt_n of_o exchequer_n and_o all_o other_o officer_n of_o the_o exchequer_n now_o and_o for_o the_o time_n be_v be_v enjoin_v to_o issue_v the_o say_a money_n so_o set_v apart_o for_o the_o use_v before_o mention_v without_o fee_n or_o reward_n from_o time_n to_o to_o time_n in_o the_o manner_n and_o proportion_n before_o mention_v and_o under_o the_o like_a penalty_n forfeiture_n and_o disability_n as_o be_v hereafter_o inflict_v upon_o any_o officer_n for_o divert_v any_o money_n appropriate_v by_o this_o act._n xv._o subscription_n no_o person_n to_o subscribe_v above_o 20000_o l._n a_o four_o to_o be_v pay_v at_o the_o time_n of_o the_o subscription_n no_o person_n or_o body_n politic_a shall_v by_o themselves_o or_o any_o other_o in_o trust_n for_o he_o or_o they_o subscribe_v towards_o the_o raise_n the_o sum_n of_o 1200000_o l._n any_o sum_n exceed_v the_o sum_n of_o 20000_o l._n and_o such_o subscriber_n shall_v at_o the_o time_n of_o such_o subscription_n pay_v to_o the_o commissioner_n authorize_v to_o take_v subscription_n one_o full_a four_o part_n of_o such_o subscription_n and_o in_o default_n of_o payment_n the_o subscription_n to_o be_v void_a and_o the_o residue_n of_o the_o subscription_n shall_v be_v pay_v into_o body_n politic_a at_o any_o time_n or_o time_n before_o the_o first_o day_n of_o july_n next_o ensue_v shall_v subscribe_v in_o his_o own_o name_n or_o name_n or_o in_o any_o other_o in_o trust_n for_o he_o or_o they_o towards_o the_o raise_n of_o the_o sum_n of_o 1200000_o l._n any_o sum_n or_o sum_n exceed_v in_o the_o whole_a sum_n of_o 10000_o l._n xvii_o in_o case_n the_o whole_a sum_n of_o 1200000_o l._n or_o a_o moiety_n thereof_o be_v not_o subscribe_v on_o or_o before_o the_o first_o of_o august_n 1694._o then_o the_o power_n and_o authority_n in_o this_o act_n for_o execute_v a_o corporation_n as_o aforesaid_a shall_v cease_v and_o determine_v and_o in_o such_o case_n so_o much_o of_o the_o say_v yearly_a sum_n of_o 100000_o l._n as_o shall_v belong_v to_o the_o say_a subscriber_n shall_v be_v transferrable_a and_o may_v be_v transfer_v by_o the_o respective_a person_n so_o subscribe_v and_o pay_v any_o part_n of_o the_o same_o into_o the_o exchequer_n or_o their_o respective_a heir_n successor_n and_o assign_v to_o any_o person_n or_o person_n whatsoever_o by_o any_o write_n under_o the_o hand_n and_o seal_n of_o the_o person_n or_o person_n transfer_v the_o same_o attest_v by_o two_o or_o more_o credible_a witness_n and_o enter_v within_o twenty_o day_n in_o a_o book_n in_o the_o exchequer_n by_o their_o majesty_n remembrancer_n for_o the_o enter_v whereof_o nothing_o shall_v be_v pay_v which_o entry_n the_o say_a remembrancer_n be_v from_o time_n to_o time_n upon_o request_n direct_v to_o make_v and_o such_o part_n of_o the_o say_v yearly_a other_o sum_v of_o money_n save_v only_o such_o money_n as_o shall_v in_o pursuance_n of_o this_o act_n be_v pay_v into_o their_o majesty_n exchequer_n within_o the_o time_n by_o this_o act_n limit_v xviii_o parliament_n the_o corporation_n not_o to_o borrow_v more_o than_o 1200000_o l._n except_o enable_v by_o act_n of_o parliament_n the_o corporation_n so_o to_o be_v make_v shall_v not_o borrow_v or_o give_v security_n under_o their_o common_a seal_n for_o any_o more_o far_a or_o other_o sum_n than_o 1200000_o l._n so_o that_o they_o shall_v not_o any_o one_o time_n owe_v more_o unless_o it_o be_v by_o act_n of_o parliament_n upon_o eond_n agree_v in_o parliament_n and_o in_o such_o case_n only_o such_o far_a sum_n as_o shall_v be_v direct_v and_o allow_v to_o be_v borrow_v by_o parliament_n and_o for_o such_o time_n only_o until_o they_o shall_v be_v repay_v and_o if_o any_o more_o far_a or_o other_o sum_n of_o money_n shall_v be_v borrow_v under_o the_o common_a seal_n capacity_n if_o more_o borrow_v the_o member_n liable_a to_o be_v sue_v in_o their_o private_a capacity_n then_o and_o in_o such_o case_n every_o member_n or_o member_n of_o the_o say_a corporation_n his_o and_o their_o respective_a heir_n executor_n and_o administrator_n shall_v in_o his_o and_o their_o respective_a private_a and_o personal_a capacity_n be_v chargeable_a with_o and_o liable_a direct_v to_o any_o other_o use_n misapply_v money_n for_o payment_n of_o annuity_n not_o to_o be_v misapply_v under_o the_o like_a penalty_n forfeiture_n and_o disability_n in_o respect_n to_o all_o and_o every_o the_o officer_n and_o other_o person_n in_o the_o recite_v act_n mention_v as_o be_v in_o the_o say_a act_n appoint_v and_o enact_v in_o case_n of_o divert_v or_o misapply_v any_o part_n of_o the_o money_n which_o ought_v to_o be_v pay_v to_o the_o contributor_n upon_o the_o say_a act_n and_o the_o say_a penalty_n and_o forfeiture_n shall_v be_v sue_v for_o and_o recover_v in_o such_o manner_n and_o form_n as_o the_o penalty_n in_o the_o say_v recite_v act_n be_v appoint_v to_o be_v sue_v for_o and_o recover_v in_o which_o suit_n no_o protection_n privilege_n of_o parliament_n or_o other_o privilege_n wager_n of_o law_n or_o more_o than_o one_o imparlance_n shall_v be_v allow_v sept._n book_n to_o enter_v the_o name_n of_o such_o as_o advance_v money_n before_o the_o 29_o of_o sept._n and_o the_o say_a officer_n shall_v keep_v book_n and_o register_n and_o make_v entry_n of_o the_o name_n of_o all_o person_n who_o shall_v advance_v any_o money_n before_o the_o say_v 29_o day_n of_o september_n and_o of_o all_o the_o sum_v advance_v and_o the_o time_n of_o pay_v in_o the_o same_o and_o the_o name_n of_o such_o person_n for_o who_o life_n the_o several_a annuity_n be_v to_o be_v payable_a without_o fee_n or_o reward_n to_o which_o book_n all_o person_n concern_v shall_v have_v access_n as_o in_o the_o say_a act_n also_o be_v direct_v all_o which_o the_o say_a officer_n be_v to_o do_v under_o the_o like_a penalty_n forfeiture_n and_o disability_n as_o in_o the_o say_v recite_v act_n be_v mention_v sept._n 10_o l._n per_fw-la cent._n for_o monies_n advance_v to_o the_o 29_o of_o sept._n and_o every_o person_n who_o shall_v advance_v and_o pay_v in_o any_o such_o sum_n before_o the_o say_v 29_o day_n of_o september_n shall_v receive_v out_o of_o the_o money_n grant_v by_o this_o act_n for_o all_o money_n so_o advance_v by_o he_o and_o pay_v from_o the_o respective_a day_n of_o payment_n unto_o the_o say_v 29_o day_n of_o september_n interest_n at_o the_o rate_n of_o 10_o l._n per_fw-la cent._n per_fw-la annum_fw-la and_o none_o of_o the_o money_n payable_a by_o this_o act_n shall_v be_v charge_v with_o any_o rate_n or_o imposition_n whatsoever_o xxvi_o act._n infant_n a_o nominee_n and_o contributor_n within_o this_o act._n any_o guardian_n or_o trustee_n of_o any_o infant_n may_v advance_v and_o pay_v the_o sum_n of_o 100_o l._n of_o the_o money_n of_o such_o infant_n upon_o the_o respective_a term_n and_o recompense_n herein_o mention_v and_o if_o it_o be_v upon_o a_o annuity_n for_o life_n he_o shall_v within_o the_o time_n before_o appoint_v for_o the_o name_n of_o life_n name_v the_o say_a infant_n to_o be_v a_o nominee_n and_o such_o infant_n upon_o payment_n of_o the_o sum_n shall_v become_v a_o contributor_n within_o the_o meaning_n of_o this_o act_n and_o be_v entitle_v to_o have_v and_o receive_v a_o proportion_n discharge_v guardian_n discharge_v as_o any_o other_o contributor_n and_o the_o say_a guardian_n and_o trustee_n as_o to_o the_o say_a sum_n of_o 100_o l._n so_o advance_v be_v hereby_o discharge_v xxvii_o nominee_n contributor_n demand_v money_n shall_v produce_v a_o certificate_n of_o the_o life_n of_o the_o nominee_n every_o contributor_n upon_o the_o term_n of_o have_v a_o annuity_n for_o one_o two_o or_o three_o life_n his_o or_o her_o executor_n administrator_n and_o assign_v upon_o demand_v any_o payment_n unless_o the_o nominee_n or_o nominees_n or_o one_o of_o they_o appear_v in_o person_n at_o the_o say_a receipt_n shall_v produce_v a_o certificate_n of_o the_o life_n of_o he_o she_o or_o their_o nominee_n or_o nominees_n or_o one_o of_o they_o sign_v by_o the_o minister_n or_o churchwarden_n of_o the_o parish_n where_o such_o nominee_n shall_v be_v then_o live_v oath_n or_o make_v oath_n or_o make_v oath_n of_o the_o truth_n of_o the_o life_n of_o he_o she_o or_o their_o respective_a nominee_n or_o one_o of_o they_o upon_o the_o day_n when_o the_o payment_n shall_v become_v due_a before_o one_o or_o more_o justice_n of_o the_o peace_n of_o the_o county_n ride_v city_n or_o town_n wherein_o such_o person_n at_o the_o time_n of_o make_v the_o say_a oath_n shall_v reside_v which_o oath_n the_o act_n give_v power_n to_o administer_v and_o the_o justice_n or_o justice_n shall_v make_v a_o certificate_n thereof_o for_o which_o oath_n and_o certificate_n no_o fee_n or_o reward_n shall_v be_v require_v and_o the_o certificate_n shall_v be_v file_v in_o the_o office_n of_o receipt_n of_o exchequer_n and_o if_o any_o person_n shall_v be_v guilty_a of_o a_o false_a oath_n oath_n penalty_n of_o a_o false_a oath_n or_o forge_v a_o certificate_n and_o be_v thereof_o lawful_o convict_v he_o shall_v incur_v the_o penalty_n to_o be_v inflict_v upon_o person_n who_o commit_v wilful_a perjury_n or_o forgery_n and_o in_o case_n any_o nominee_n at_o the_o time_n of_o such_o demand_n be_v resident_a in_o scotland_n or_o beyond_o the_o sea_n and_o any_o one_o or_o more_o baron_n of_o the_o exchequer_n shall_v certify_v that_o upon_o proof_n to_o he_o or_o they_o make_v which_o proof_n may_v be_v take_v in_o a_o summary_n way_n it_o do_v seem_v probable_a that_o the_o nominee_n be_v live_v which_o certificate_n be_v to_o be_v give_v and_o examination_n make_v without_o fee_n or_o charge_n the_o say_a certificate_n be_v file_v shall_v be_v a_o sufficient_a warrant_n for_o make_v the_o say_a payment_n and_o if_o any_o person_n shall_v receive_v any_o payment_n after_o the_o death_n of_o his_o nominee_n nominee_n penalty_n for_o receive_v money_n after_o of_o 1200000_o l._n shall_v not_o be_v subscribe_v and_o pay_v into_o the_o exchequer_n than_o so_o much_o of_o the_o say_v yearly_a sum_n of_o 100000_o l._n hereby_o intend_v to_o answer_v the_o recompense_n for_o the_o same_o as_o by_o such_o deficiency_n shall_v by_o this_o act_n be_v undisposed_a be_v hereby_o appropriate_v so_o far_o as_o the_o same_o shall_v amount_v to_o pay_v any_o person_n and_o person_n who_o shall_v advance_v and_o pay_v any_o sum_n of_o money_n into_o the_o exchequer_n before_o the_o first_o of_o february_n 1694._o on_o account_n to_o have_v a_o annuity_n or_o annuity_n for_o one_o two_o or_o three_o life_n such_o respective_a sum_n for_o such_o respective_a life_n or_o life_n according_a to_o such_o rate_n and_o proportion_n and_o for_o such_o time_n and_o under_o such_o rule_n and_o direction_n as_o be_v herein_o before_o contain_v with_o relation_n to_o such_o as_o shall_v advance_v and_o pay_v the_o say_v 300000_o l._n xxix_o up_o if_o the_o whole_a 1500000_o l._n be_v not_o pay_v by_o the_o one_a of_o octob._n 1694._o their_o majesty_n may_v borrow_v so_o much_o as_o will_v make_v it_o up_o if_o the_o whole_a sum_n of_o 1500000_o l._n be_v not_o pay_v into_o the_o exchequer_n upon_o this_o act_n before_o the_o first_o of_o october_n 1694._o then_o their_o majesty_n or_o their_o officer_n in_o the_o receipt_n of_o the_o exchequer_n by_o their_o command_n and_o appointment_n may_v borrow_v for_o their_o majesty_n use_n by_o way_n of_o loan_n any_o sum_n or_o sum_n which_o together_o with_o the_o value_n of_o the_o sum_n before_o per_fw-la annum_fw-la cent._n at_o 8_o l._n per_fw-la cent._n to_o be_v pay_v every_o three_o month_n until_o satisfaction_n of_o the_o principal_a shall_v be_v payable_a and_o satisfy_v unto_o the_o lender_n or_o lender_n his_o her_o or_o their_o executor_n administrator_n or_o assign_v out_o of_o the_o money_n bring_v into_o the_o exchequer_n by_o contribution_n upon_o this_o act_n defect_n aid_n grant_v by_o next_o parliament_n to_o supply_v defect_n so_o far_o as_o the_o same_o shall_v extend_v
