of_o this_o chapter_n this_o shall_v suffice_v for_o clear_v of_o the_o observation_n that_o unbeliever_n and_o unsanctified_a person_n know_v not_o god_n at_o least_o they_o know_v he_o not_o in_o such_o a_o manner_n and_o with_o such_o a_o kind_n of_o knowledge_n as_o they_o ought_v to_o do_v in_o that_o they_o know_v he_o not_o with_o a_o affective_a knowledge_n they_o know_v he_o not_o with_o a_o effective_a knowledge_n and_o they_o know_v he_o not_o in_o christ_n but_o what_o may_v be_v the_o cause_n why_o the_o unbelieving_a world_n be_v so_o ignorant_a reason_n 1_o of_o god_n i_o shall_v lay_v they_o open_a to_o you_o both_o with_o relation_n to_o the_o unbelieve_a world_n heathen_a and_o with_o relation_n to_o the_o unbelieve_a world_n christian_n christian_n i_o mean_v in_o 1.19_o 20._o that_o which_o may_v be_v know_v conceive_v it_o natural_o know_v of_o god_n be_v manifest_a to_o they_o that_o be_v the_o heathen_a for_o god_n have_v show_v it_o even_o to_o they_o there_o be_v a_o image_n and_o resemblance_n of_o he_o stamp_v upon_o the_o creature_n there_o be_v apparent_a character_n and_o footstep_n and_o impression_n of_o the_o godhead_n of_o his_o power_n know_v god_n true_a they_o have_v the_o outward_a mean_n but_o they_o want_v the_o inward_a mean_n they_o have_v the_o outward_a revelation_n of_o the_o word_n but_o they_o have_v not_o the_o inward_a revelation_n of_o the_o spirit_n and_o without_o this_o it_o be_v impossible_a for_o any_o man_n to_o know_v god_n and_o therefore_o the_o apostle_n pray_v for_o the_o ephesian_n that_o god_n will_v give_v they_o the_o spirit_n of_o wisdom_n and_o revelation_n in_o the_o knowledge_n of_o he_o chap._n 1.17_o by_o which_o he_o intimate_v that_o without_o spirit-revelation_n they_o can_v never_o because_o they_o have_v dispatch_v the_o work_n which_o god_n have_v give_v they_o to_o do_v they_o have_v finish_v their_o testimony_n as_o the_o expression_n be_v apoc._n 11.7_o or_o else_o nature_n he_o be_v never_o with_o he_o in_o regard_n of_o his_o immediate_a presence_n in_o the_o heaven_n true_o my_o brethren_n he_o come_v not_o from_o he_o local_o but_o he_o come_v from_o he_o ministerial_o he_o come_v not_o from_o he_o in_o respect_n of_o place_n but_o he_o come_v from_o he_o in_o respect_n of_o mission_n because_o he_o come_v of_o his_o message_n and_o of_o his_o errand_n that_o which_o go_v before_o or_o else_o in_o a_o
that_o of_o the_o apostle_n in_o the_o same_o case_n rom._n 9.20_o nay_o but_o o_o man_n who_o be_v thou_o that_o reply_v answer_v again_o dispute_a against_o god_n all_o the_o objection_n that_o be_v prophesy_v because_o he_o be_v before_o from_o all_o eternity_n appoint_v to_o perdition_n and_o be_v prophesy_v when_o the_o event_n fall_v out_o according_o it_o look_v as_o if_o the_o pprophecy_n have_v be_v the_o cause_n of_o his_o destruction_n so_o that_o the_o particle_n that_o as_o a_o very_a learned_a man_n observe_v upon_o the_o text_n judas_n be_v lose_v that_o the_o scripture_n may_v scripture_n and_o that_o the_o scripture_n may_v be_v fulfil_v whereas_o indeed_o they_o have_v be_v do_v though_o they_o have_v never_o be_v foretell_v because_o they_o be_v fore-determine_a only_a they_o will_v have_v we_o know_v that_o whatsoever_o be_v foretell_v shall_v certain_o be_v do_v in_o god_n time_n it_o be_v easy_a say_v our_o saviour_n for_o heaven_n and_o earth_n to_o pass_v
