8_o 9_o rest_n with_o we_o when_o the_o lord_n jesus_n shall_v show_v himself_o from_o heaven_n with_o his_o mighty_a angel_n in_o flame_a fire_n render_v vengeance_n unto_o they_o that_o do_v not_o know_v god_n and_o which_o obey_v not_o the_o gospel_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n which_o shall_v be_v punish_v with_o everlasting_a perdition_n from_o the_o presence_n of_o the_o lord-and_a from_o the_o glory_n of_o his_o power_n now_o as_o the_o church_n be_v edify_v by_o he_o that_o prophesi_v 4._o 1_o cor._n 14_o 3_o 4._o &_o receive_v instruction_n exhortation_n comfort_n and_o direction_n whereby_o they_o may_v join_v together_o in_o prayâ—s_n and_o thanksgiving_n so_o on_o the_o contrary_n they_o want_v all_o these_o mean_n when_o divine_a service_n be_v administer_v in_o a_o strange_a tongue_n which_o they_o do_v not_o understand_v for_o the_o minister_n speak_v not_o to_o they_o that_o be_v to_o their_o understanding_n and_o therefore_o whatsoever_o have_v heavenly_a doctrine_n be_v read_v or_o deliver_v in_o a_o strange_a tongue_n the_o people_n be_v nothing_o instuct_v by_o it_o but_o depart_v from_o the_o church_n as_o ignorant_a of_o god_n &_o of_o all_o godliness_n as_o they_o come_v to_o it_o and_o as_o he_o that_o be_v ignorant_a be_v not_o instruct_v in_o any_o thing_n so_o he_o that_o be_v dull_a and_o slothful_a in_o his_o duty_n to_o god_n or_o man_n according_a to_o god_n commandment_n be_v not_o further_v by_o exhortation_n nor_o he_o that_o be_v heavy_a in_o heart_n be_v not_o comfort_v 1â—_n verse_n 1â—_n likewise_o when_o the_o minister_n pray_v or_o give_v thanks_o he_o can_v neither_o pray_v nor_o give_v thanks_o with_o he_o nor_o answer_v fir_o to_o any_o thing_n he_o pronounce_v because_o he_o understand_v not_o what_o it_o be_v that_o he_o say_v for_o this_o cause_n the_o apostle_n say_v that_o their_o understanding_n remain_v fruitless_a and_o that_o five_o word_n speak_v to_o their_o understanding_n be_v more_o worth_a than_o many_o thousand_o in_o that_o sort_n and_o in_o respect_n of_o the_o prophet_n or_o minister_n he_o say_v that_o in_o so_o do_v
