of_o devotion_n among_o which_o mean_v the_o first_o be_v the_o use_n of_o the_o holy_a sacrament_n especial_o of_o the_o bless_a communion_n because_o the_o proper_a effect_n of_o this_o most_o noble_a sacrament_n be_v the_o spiritual_a refection_n of_o the_o soul_n which_o be_v a_o singular_a and_o very_a excellent_a denotion_n for_o somuch_o as_o the_o same_o do_v cherish_v &_o strengthen_v we_o &_o give_v we_o breath_n for_o this_o voyage_n and_o here_o a_o good_a master_n may_v take_v occasion_n to_o say_v much_o as_o well_o of_o the_o inestimable_a virtue_n of_o the_o holy_a sacrament_n as_o also_o of_o the_o manner_n how_o we_o ought_v to_o prepare_v ourselves_o for_o the_o receive_n of_o they_o because_o he_o that_o approach_v to_o they_o as_o he_o shall_v can_v not_o but_o receive_v most_o great_a visitation_n &_o illumination_n of_o almighty_a god_n but_o chief_o before_o communion_n &_o after_o the_o same_o it_o become_v we_o to_o have_v more_o particular_a recollection_n and_o prayer_n because_o here_o be_v some_o time_n receive_v such_o a_o sweet_a and_o marvellous_a refection_n that_o it_o dure_v afterward_o for_o many_o day_n and_o he_o that_o have_v not_o yet_o taste_v of_o this_o sweetness_n let_v he_o believe_v that_o he_o have_v not_o arrive_v to_o feel_v the_o most_o noble_a effect_n of_o this_o sacrament_n since_o that_o hold_v this_o honey_n comb_n and_o this_o breed_v of_o angel_n in_o his_o mouth_n he_o have_v feel_v nothing_o that_o surpass_v nature_n of_o the_o meditation_n of_o heavenly_a thing_n the_o second_o mean_n that_o serve_v for_o this_o be_v the_o meditation_n and_o consideration_n of_o spiritual_a thing_n as_o the_o holy_a doctor_n s._n thomas_n expressie_a determine_v especial_o of_o almighty_a god_n benefit_n &_o of_o the_o life_n of_o our_o saviour_n christ_n etc._n etc._n because_o of_o this_o consideration_n of_o our_o mind_n and_o understanding_n result_v and_o rise_v in_o our_o will_v this_o good_a affection_n and_o feeling_n which_o we_o call_v devotion_n this_o be_v then_o one_o of_o the_o first_o thing_n which_o the_o master_n must_v give_v the_o novice_n to_o do_v that_o by_o this_o mean_v devotion_n may_v be_v so_o print_v in_o his_o hart_n that_o he_o never_o forget_v the_o same_o at_o any_o time_n &_o like_v as_o nature_n begin_v to_o fashion_n the_o body_n of_o a_o live_a creature_n from_o he_o hart_n because_o life_n do_v proceed_v from_o the_o same_o to_o all_o the_o other_o membre_n so_o must_v he_o begin_v this_o spiritual_a life_n by_o prayer_n and_o consideration_n see_v that_o from_o hence_o he_o shall_v draw_v the_o spirit_n of_o love_n
