necessity_n of_o revelation_n of_o new_a truth_n must_v maintain_v that_o the_o thing_n already_o reveal_v be_v not_o perfect_a and_o consequent_o reflect_v on_o god_n who_o have_v give_v man_n a_o rule_n but_o not_o a_o perfect_a rule_n 3_o the_o evil_a of_o this_o will_v appear_v in_o regard_n it_o be_v the_o way_n to_o destroy_v and_o to_o turn_v not_o only_a mankind_n but_o the_o church_n of_o god_n into_o confusion_n by_o what_o rule_n shall_v one_o discern_v the_o thing_n bear_v in_o upon_o we_o to_o be_v from_o the_o spirit_n they_o say_v they_o be_v to_o judge_v the_o spirit_n by_o the_o thing_n bear_v in_o upon_o we_o and_o not_o to_o judge_v the_o thing_n bear_v in_o on_o we_o by_o the_o spirit_n therefore_o in_o germany_n it_o be_v so_o bear_v in_o on_o a_o man_n to_o that_o hight_v as_o to_o kill_v his_o own_o wife_n and_o one_o another_o to_o blaspheme_v god_n and_o one_o another_o to_o commit_v incest_n and_o shall_v we_o judge_v such_o blasphemy_n against_o god_n with_o god_n that_o though_o a_o believer_n be_v challenge_v for_o guilt_n and_o the_o sin_n of_o his_o house_n yet_o he_o be_v not_o to_o cast_v at_o the_o covenant_n the_o sense_n of_o guilt_n ought_v not_o to_o put_v a_o christian_n to_o cast_v at_o the_o covenant_n though_o my_o house_n be_v not_o so_o with_o god_n yet_o david_n can_v assert_v his_o interest_n in_o the_o covenant_n notwithstanding_o of_o all_o his_o guilt_n personal_a or_o public_a or_o in_o his_o family_n this_o be_v a_o native_a truth_n and_o massy_a you_o have_v a_o remarkable_a confirmation_n of_o it_o nehemiah_n 9.32_o throughout_o the_o chapter_n he_o be_v confess_v the_o sin_n of_o the_o king_n of_o the_o prince_n of_o the_o priest_n of_o the_o prophet_n of_o his_o father_n and_o of_o the_o people_n and_o yet_o in_o this_o verse_n he_o appeal_v to_o god_n as_o their_o god_n now_o therefore_o o_o our_o god_n the_o great_a the_o mighty_a and_o the_o terrible_a god_n who_o keep_v covenant_n and_o mercy_n let_v not_o all_o the_o trouble_n seem_v little_a before_o thou_o that_o have_v come_v upon_o we_o on_o our_o king_n on_o our_o prince_n on_o our_o priest_n and_o on_o our_o prophet_n and_o on_o our_o father_n and_o on_o all_o thy_o people_n since_o the_o time_n of_o the_o king_n of_o assyria_n unto_o this_o day_n etc._n etc._n there_o a_o multitude_n of_o sin_n that_o be_v confess_v by_o he_o throughout_o the_o chapter_n and_o he_o look_v on_o god_n as_o mighty_a and_o terrible_a and_o yet_o none_o of_o they_o ding_v he_o from_o the_o covenant_n whatever_o be_v the_o smell_n of_o our_o guilt_n or_o of_o our_o family_n yet_o we_o be_v not_o to_o cast_v at_o the_o covenant_n i_o will_v in_o follow_v this_o truth_n speak_v a_o little_a to_o these_o three_o thing_n first_o i_o shall_v give_v you_o some_o ground_n to_o prove_v that_o whatever_o be_v a_o person_n guilt_n yet_o they_o be_v not_o to_o cast_v at_o the_o covenant_n second_o i_o shall_v clear_v some_o practical_a case_n about_o it_o and_o three_o shall_v apply_v it_o first_o i_o shall_v give_v you_o some_o ground_n to_o prove_v that_o whatever_o be_v a_o sinner_n guilt_n he_o be_v not_o to_o cast_v at_o the_o covenant_n though_o my_o house_n be_v not_o so_o with_o god_n yet_o he_o have_v make_v with_o i_o a_o covenant_n i_o will_v offer_v you_o these_o five_o remarkable_a ground_n to_o prove_v it_o the_o first_o i_o take_v from_o god_n and_o there_o be_v three_o thing_n in_o god_n relate_v to_o the_o covenant_n that_o will_v prove_v the_o truth_n of_o this_o 1._o for_o all_o our_o guilt_n god_n hold_v the_o covenant_n firm_a guilt_n cast_v we_o not_o out_o of_o the_o covenant_n it_o may_v cast_v we_o out_o of_o fellowship_n that_o will_v not_o cast_v we_o out_o of_o the_o covenant_n
