i_o seal_v up_o these_o thing_n which_o the_o seven_o thunder_n have_v speak_v and_o write_v they_o not_o it_o shall_v seem_v these_o seven_o thunder_n do_v so_o speak_v as_o they_o may_v be_v understand_v for_o john_n be_v about_o to_o write_v the_o thing_n which_o they_o speak_v think_v that_o they_o be_v utter_v for_o that_o end_n and_o purpose_n that_o he_o shall_v deliver_v they_o in_o write_v to_o the_o church_n but_o he_o receive_v a_o commandment_n to_o the_o contrary_a for_o he_o be_v will_v not_o to_o write_v they_o but_o to_o conceal_v they_o until_o the_o appoint_a time_n but_o some_o man_n may_v say_v why_o be_v they_o utter_v see_v they_o must_v be_v conceal_v and_o kepâ—_n close_a i_o answer_v it_o be_v not_o in_o vain_a for_o first_o though_o the_o particular_n be_v not_o express_v what_o the_o thunder_v speak_v yet_o here_o we_o be_v teach_v that_o there_o remain_v most_o fearful_a judgement_n against_o all_o the_o oppressor_n of_o the_o church_n which_o christ_n have_v thunder_v out_o with_o terror_n against_o they_o and_o when_o the_o time_n determine_v be_v come_v they_o shall_v be_v see_v and_o understand_v but_o in_o the_o mean_a time_n they_o be_v seal_v up_o and_o keep_v close_o according_a to_o that_o of_o job_n why_o shall_v not_o the_o time_n be_v hide_v of_o the_o almighty_a so_o as_o they_o which_o know_v he_o shall_v not_o perceive_v the_o time_n appoint_v of_o he_o and_o that_o of_o daniel_n these_o thing_n be_v seal_v up_o until_o the_o time_n determine_v and_o the_o angel_n which_o i_o see_v stand_v upon_o the_o not_o this_o the_o epitome_n and_o short_a sum_n of_o all_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o preacher_n of_o england_n scotland_n germany_n france_n denmark_n and_o all_o the_o rest_n and_o therefore_o i_o conclude_v that_o this_o angel_n must_v needs_o be_v understand_v of_o the_o preacher_n of_o this_o last_o age_n which_o now_o these_o fourscore_o year_n have_v sound_v the_o trumpet_n of_o the_o gospel_n against_o all_o the_o invention_n of_o popery_n and_o bless_a be_v god_n we_o see_v these_o thing_n fall_v out_o in_o our_o day_n and_o be_v eye-witness_n of_o the_o fulfil_n of_o they_o be_v call_v babylon_n which_o be_v not_o simple_o and_o proper_o but_o after_o a_o sort_n that_o be_v by_o a_o phrase_n of_o speech_n or_o trope_n which_o they_o call_v a_o metonymy_n or_o change_v of_o name_n when_o that_o be_v give_v to_o one_o thing_n which_o be_v proper_a to_o another_o for_o the_o likeness_n of_o quality_n that_o it_o have_v with_o it_o or_o adjoin_v unto_o it_o now_o have_v show_v the_o reason_n why_o rome_n be_v call_v babylon_n and_o what_o be_v mean_v by_o rome_n we_o be_v to_o proceed_v to_o the_o first_o point_n which_o be_v to_o prove_v that_o babylon_n in_o this_o place_n signify_v rome_n which_o although_o it_o be_v grant_v of_o all_o sound_a divine_n and_o avouch_v in_o the_o writing_n of_o the_o best_a learned_a both_o new_a and_o old_a so_o as_o it_o
