country_n adjacent_a and_o gain_v likewise_o all_o arabia_n felix_n and_o arrabia_n magna_n and_o a_o great_a part_n of_o armenia_n and_o persia_n before_o he_o die_v and_o when_o he_o be_v dead_a the_o primacy_n devolve_v to_o the_o caliph_n or_o king_n ubequar_fw-la his_o father-in-law_n in_o who_o time_n the_o strength_n of_o the_o moor_n be_v increase_v to_o threescore_o thousand_o horseman_n and_o after_o this_o ubequar_fw-la the_o dominion_n come_v to_o homar_n muhameds_n second_o father-in-law_n and_o these_o two_o in_o their_o time_n with_o their_o moor_n gain_v all_o the_o valiant_o and_o have_v get_v dominion_n over_o their_o enemy_n and_o beside_o he_o promise_v they_o that_o all_o the_o spoil_n shall_v be_v share_v equal_o among_o they_o and_o so_o also_o i_o say_v that_o if_o the_o king_n our_o sovereign_n will_v promise_v this_o one_o thing_n unto_o those_o who_o will_v go_v beyond_o the_o sea_n to_o fight_v against_o the_o moor_n i_o dare_v promise_n before_o disciple_n full_a of_o purity_n and_o chastity_n full_a of_o righteousness_n patience_n charity_n friend_n to_o the_o poor_a peaceable_a and_o humble_a and_o leave_v all_o that_o they_o have_v in_o the_o world_n to_o follow_v their_o master_n jesus_n christ_n our_o lord_n preach_v the_o christian_a faith_n to_o all_o the_o world_n clothe_v in_o sackcloth_n arm_v with_o nothing_o but_o the_o after_o the_o say_v six_o book_n have_v be_v view_v and_o examine_v by_o all_o the_o other_o doctor_n there_o assemble_v command_v that_o all_o the_o other_o book_n shall_v be_v cast_v into_o a_o great_a river_n near_o damascus_n call_v adegele_n whereupon_o have_v lade_v two_o hundred_o camel_n with_o the_o multitude_n of_o book_n which_o be_v bring_v thither_o they_o cast_v they_o into_o this_o river_n likewise_o the_o king_n give_v notice_n by_o a_o decree_n or_o public_a proclamation_n throughout_o all_o the_o country_n of_o the_o moor_n that_o no_o alfaquy_n shall_v dare_v to_o alcoran_n itself_o and_o that_o they_o shall_v not_o be_v less_o reverence_v among_o they_o than_o the_o alcoran_n itself_o all_o which_o the_o moor_n observe_v and_o have_v these_o book_n in_o as_o great_a reverence_n as_o the_o alcoran_n itself_o and_o the_o word_n thereof_o be_v among_o the_o moor_n of_o as_o much_o yea_o great_a authority_n than_o be_v the_o alcoran_n i_o have_v the_o more_o enlarge_v myself_o upon_o this_o point_n because_o that_o in_o some_o case_n they_o follow_v the_o say_n of_o muhamed_a and_o leave_v the_o say_n of_o the_o alcoran_n as_o of_o no_o effect_n which_o saying_n of_o muhamed_a be_v contain_v in_o the_o six_o book_n aforesaid_a so_o that_o the_o word_n of_o god_n which_o in_o their_o opinion_n be_v the_o alcoran_n be_v make_v void_a by_o muhameds_n say_n as_o be_v declare_v in_o the_o precede_a chapter_n and_o as_o shall_v further_o appear_v in_o the_o eleven_o chapter_n in_o this_o manner_n be_v muhamed_n sect_n restore_v and_o for_o this_o he_o answer_v they_o say_v that_o the_o devil_n make_v he_o mistake_v and_o have_v take_v away_o the_o good_a word_n of_o the_o alcoran_n and_o insert_v the_o word_n which_o he_o have_v speak_v and_o that_o through_o the_o deceit_n of_o the_o devil_n he_o have_v err_v in_o read_v so_o and_o in_o prostrate_v himself_o the_o which_o divers_a of_o the_o moor_n take_v notice_n of_o and_o be_v offend_v with_o it_o turn_v to_o their_o former_a sect_n and_o way_n of_o worship_n thus_o muhamed_a be_v not_o free_a from_o temptation_n though_o he_o give_v out_o that_o the_o angel_n gabriel_n take_v the_o black_a coat_n out_o of_o his_o heart_n wherefore_o o_o moor_n you_o must_v acknowledge_v that_o that_o be_v not_o true_a which_o muhamed_a say_v in_o the_o first_o chapter_n that_o the_o angel_n lance_v his_o breast_n and_o take_v forth_o his_o heart_n and_o cut_v out_o the_o black_a coat_n or_o filthy_a matter_n to_o the_o end_n that_o he_o may_v not_o be_v tempt_v of_o the_o devil_n at_o any_o time_n for_o if_o that_o have_v be_v true_a the_o devil_n have_v not_o now_o tempt_v he_o nor_o have_v make_v he_o say_v what_o he_o do_v nor_o have_v he_o magnify_v the_o idol_n and_o prostrate_v himself_o to_o the_o ground_n to_o worship_v they_o whereof_o divers_a take_v notice_n as_o we_o say_v before_o and_o when_o muhamed_a know_v that_o the_o people_n be_v offend_v and_o that_o all_o the_o people_n of_o mecca_n and_o the_o moor_n and_o jew_n murmur_v against_o he_o and_o his_o moor_n he_o institute_v a_o verse_n which_o be_v write_v in_o the_o four_o chapter_n of_o the_o three_o book_n which_o be_v in_o arabic_a thus_o guame_fw-mi alcerne_v etc._n etc._n that_o god_n never_o send_v any_o prophet_n which_o be_v not_o tempt_v and_o when_o he_o read_v the_o word_n of_o god_n the_o devil_n will_v be_v busy_a and_o put_v some_o other_o word_n among_o they_o nevertheless_o say_v he_o god_n command_v to_o take_v away_o the_o evil_a and_o confirm_v the_o good_a and_o by_o this_o verse_n muhomed_n inform_v the_o moor_n that_o that_o have_v befall_v he_o from_o the_o devil_n even_o as_o the_o like_a have_v befall_v other_o prophet_n and_o that_o god_n command_v that_o the_o evil_a word_n shall_v be_v raze_v out_o of_o that_o chapter_n and_o good_a word_n shall_v be_v put_v in_o and_o that_o they_o shall_v not_o marvel_n at_o this_o much_o less_o be_v offend_v at_o it_o and_o so_o upon_o this_o verse_n the_o offence_n cease_v and_o the_o moor_n be_v silent_a this_o thing_n and_o offence_n be_v know_v but_o to_o few_o of_o the_o alfaquie_n and_o doctor_n of_o their_o law_n and_o i_o tell_v it_o thou_o o_o moor_n that_o thou_o may_v know_v it_o if_o thou_o desire_v the_o salvation_n of_o thy_o soul_n and_o that_o thou_o may_v acknowledge_v the_o truth_n and_o follow_v it_o there_o be_v another_o thing_n also_o at_o which_o the_o moor_n be_v offend_v viz._n when_o muhamed_a take_v away_o his_o servant_n zeidin_n wife_n whereof_o we_o make_v mention_v above_o which_o act_n be_v very_o dishonest_a villainous_a and_o scandalous_a especial_o in_o such_o a_o one_o as_o muhamed_a who_o think_v himself_o a_o prophet_n from_o he_o and_o add_v to_o his_o other_o nine_o and_o so_o his_o servant_n zeiden_n remain_v wifeless_a and_o this_o act_n happen_v in_o this_o manner_n muhamed_a know_v that_o his_o servant_n zeiden_n have_v a_o fair_a wife_n and_o she_o be_v muhamed_n kinswoman_n one_o day_n muhamed_a go_v to_o zeidens_n house_n to_o visit_v she_o and_o have_v see_v she_o tell_v she_o that_o when_o her_o husband_n zeiden_n come_v home_o she_o shall_v tell_v he_o that_o the_o prophet_n muhamed_a have_v be_v there_o and_o have_v see_v a_o good_a table_n good_a a_o lobster_n or_o crab_n it_o be_v a_o arabic_a proverb_n as_o we_o say_v he_o find_v a_o dainty_a dish_n for_o his_o own_o table_n crab_n for_o his_o door_n these_o very_a word_n be_v write_v in_o arabic_a in_o the_o book_n azar_n and_o wonderful_a and_o great_a shape_n among_o which_o be_v one_o angel_n who_o stand_v on_o the_o second_o heaven_n and_o his_o head_n reach_v to_o the_o three_o and_o one_o of_o his_o hand_n to_o the_o east_n and_o the_o other_o unto_o the_o west_n end_n of_o heaven_n and_o many_o other_o wonderful_a thing_n they_o see_v here_o and_o from_o this_o heaven_n they_o ascend_v to_o the_o three_o heaven_n which_o be_v make_v of_o a_o precious_a stone_n and_o there_o they_o meet_v with_o abraham_n be_v a_o old_a hoary_a man_n and_o the_o angel_n in_o this_o heaven_n be_v far_o more_o in_o number_n than_o those_o of_o the_o two_o other_o heaven_n and_o much_o great_a and_o among_o they_o they_o see_v a_o angel_n who_o from_o one_o eye_n to_o the_o other_o have_v the_o distance_n of_o 70000._o far_o great_a than_o any_o of_o the_o former_a and_o this_o heaven_n be_v make_v of_o a_o carbuncle_n in_o the_o seven_o heaven_n they_o meet_v with_o jesus_n christ_n unto_o who_o muhamed_a make_v application_n and_o this_o heaven_n be_v make_v of_o the_o light_n of_o god_n and_o here_o they_o see_v many_o more_o angel_n than_o in_o the_o other_o six_o heaven_n and_o far_o great_a among_o which_o be_v one_o that_o have_v seventie_o thousand_o head_n and_o every_o head_n have_v seven_o hundred_o thousand_o tongue_n and_o each_o of_o these_o tongue_n have_v seven_o hundred_o thousand_o voice_n with_o all_o which_o voice_n or_o language_n they_o praise_v god_n day_n and_o night_n likewise_o among_o these_o angel_n be_v divers_a which_o always_o watch_v without_o ever_o shut_v their_o eye_n other_o always_o bow_v their_o head_n without_o ever_o erect_v themselves_o other_o lay_v always_o prostrate_a and_o never_o arise_v and_o other_o praise_v god_n with_o such_o loud_a voice_n a_o voice_n say_v in_o arabic_a thus_o oya_n muhamed_a anden_fw-mi gualirabach_fw-mi cellem_fw-la i._n e._n o_o muhamed_a approach_n and_o salute_v thy_o creator_n whereupon_o muhamed_a draw_v near_o to_o the_o voice_n and_o see_v so_o great_a a_o light_n that_o it_o trouble_v his_o sight_n he_o say_v that_o god_n have_v on_o his_o glorious_a face_n seventy_o thousand_o veil_n of_o divine_a light_n and_o the_o text_n of_o the_o alcoran_n in_o the_o three_o book_n say_v that_o muhamed_a approach_v god_n within_o two_o bowe-shot_n or_o little_o less_o in_o arabic_a it_n be_v thus_o o_o zumen_fw-la etc._n etc._n i._n e._n that_o muhamed_a approach_v god_n within_o little_a less_o than_o two_o shot_n of_o a_o cross-bow_n muhamed_a say_v further_o that_o so_o great_a a_o light_n for_o a_o shadow_n unto_o muhamed_a but_o he_o can_v not_o endure_v it_o by_o reason_n of_o the_o great_a cold_a which_o proceed_v from_o it_o he_o say_v that_o in_o this_o place_n god_n speak_v to_o he_o and_o give_v he_o divers_a commandment_n of_o the_o law_n and_o tell_v he_o many_o secret_n and_o you_o must_v know_v that_o if_o i_o shall_v write_v all_o the_o thing_n which_o muhamed_a say_v he_o see_v that_o night_n a_o ream_n of_o paper_n will_v not_o contain_v they_o muhamed_a say_v as_o the_o book_n azar_n report_v that_o this_o night_n god_n grant_v five_o thing_n unto_o he_o which_o be_v never_o give_v to_o any_o man_n before_o nor_o since_o the_o first_o be_v that_o he_o shall_v be_v the_o chief_a and_o most_o elect_a creature_n that_o god_n ever_o create_v either_o in_o heaven_n or_o on_o earth_n which_o the_o arabic_a call_v hayriall_a quilleh_n the_o second_o be_v that_o he_o shall_v be_v the_o most_o excellent_a and_o most_o honourable_a lord_n of_o all_o the_o the_o three_o of_o a_o pearl_n or_o a_o precious_a stone_n the_o four_o of_o a_o emerald_n the_o five_o of_o a_o diamond_n the_o six_o of_o a_o carbuncle_n though_o he_o say_v the_o the_o seven_o be_v of_o light_n know_v thou_o not_o o_o moor_n that_o gold_n silver_n pearl_n and_o the_o other_o follow_v stone_n be_v obscure_a body_n which_o our_o sight_n can_v penetrate_v because_o they_o be_v opacous_a and_o not_o transparent_a and_o know_v thou_o not_o that_o we_o see_v the_o planet_n mercury_n which_o be_v lodge_v in_o the_o second_o heaven_n and_o do_v likewise_o see_v the_o planet_n venus_n which_o be_v in_o the_o three_o heaven_n and_o we_o see_v the_o sun_n which_o give_v light_n to_o all_o the_o world_n and_o be_v in_o the_o four_o heaven_n we_o see_v mars_n in_o the_o five_o jupiter_n in_o the_o six_o and_o saturn_n in_o the_o seven_o heaven_n in_o brief_a we_o also_o see_v the_o star_n which_o be_v in_o the_o eight_o heaven_n which_o planet_n we_o often_o can_v see_v because_o of_o some_o little_a cloud_n which_o interpose_v between_o they_o and_o our_o sight_n and_o the_o moon_n often_o eclipse_v and_o cover_v the_o suné_fw-fr it_o be_v manifest_a that_o in_o the_o course_n of_o the_o moon_n at_o certain_a time_n in_o the_o year_n she_o interpose_v eclipse_v and_o hide_v the_o sun_n from_o our_o eye_n because_o the_o moon_n be_v a_o obscure_a body_n although_o the_o sun_n and_o the_o star_n be_v light_a body_n so_o that_o if_o the_o first_o heaven_n the_o second_o the_o three_o and_o the_o rest_n be_v metalline_a as_o muhamed_a say_v how_o can_v we_o see_v the_o say_v planet_n and_o star_n and_o now_o o_o moor_n what_o answer_n have_v thou_o but_o silence_n and_o concern_v the_o three_o i_o intend_v it_o for_o the_o five_o thing_n which_o muhamed_a say_v god_n give_v he_o that_o night_n which_o he_o never_o give_v before_o to_o any_o prophet_n consider_v o_o moor_n if_o they_o be_v not_o thing_n which_o can_v be_v prove_v either_o by_o human_a understanding_n or_o logical_a reason_n for_o human_a and_o logical_a reason_n command_v and_o teach_v that_o a_o man_n shall_v say_v nothing_o but_o what_o can_v be_v prove_v now_o tell_v i_o o_o moor_n how_o can_v it_o be_v prove_v that_o muhamed_a be_v the_o most_o excellent_a creature_n that_o god_n ever_o create_v in_o heaven_n or_o on_o earth_n likewise_o how_o can_v it_o be_v prove_v that_o he_o shall_v be_v lord_n over_o all_o man_n at_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n or_o that_o he_o shall_v be_v the_o general_a redeemer_n at_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n which_o thing_n be_v hide_v and_o unknown_a to_o all_o the_o world_n neither_o do_v his_o own_o word_n give_v any_o proof_n and_o therefore_o i_o say_v that_o what_o can_v be_v prove_v by_o itself_o nor_o by_o reason_n shall_v not_o be_v speak_v nor_o aught_o to_o be_v regard_v muhamed_a shall_v at_o least_o that_o night_n have_v desire_v of_o god_n some_o special_a sign_n as_o he_o give_v to_o moses_n to_o david_n to_o solomon_n to_o jesus_n christ_n and_o to_o the_o apostle_n after_o they_o which_o sign_n and_o miracle_n they_o wrought_v in_o the_o presence_n of_o the_o people_n but_o muhamed_a be_v very_o crafty_a &_o subtle_a to_o speak_v of_o thing_n which_o the_o people_n neither_o see_v nor_o can_v see_v and_o thus_o he_o set_v down_o all_o the_o miracle_n which_o the_o moor_n read_v of_o he_o none_o of_o they_o be_v do_v in_o the_o presence_n of_o any_o moor_n but_o himself_o say_v that_o he_o do_v such_o and_o such_o a_o thing_n and_o that_o such_o a_o thing_n befall_v such_o a_o one_o and_o such_o a_o miracle_n be_v already_o do_v but_o never_o mention_n in_o who_o presence_n he_o wrought_v they_o and_o so_o also_o he_o report_v and_o compose_v this_o mystery_n of_o the_o vision_n but_o he_o do_v not_o bring_v in_o the_o testimony_n of_o any_o that_o see_v he_o when_o he_o go_v up_o the_o ladder_n nor_o when_o he_o get_v upon_o alborac_n nor_o when_o he_o make_v the_o zala_n or_o prayer_n on_o behalf_n of_o the_o prophet_n who_o be_v already_o all_o moor_n it_o have_v at_o least_o be_v reasonable_a that_o some_o man_n then_o live_v have_v be_v in_o the_o temple_n at_o the_o zala_n for_o to_o have_v be_v witness_n of_o such_o thing_n so_o that_o o_o moor_n i_o tell_v thou_o that_o upon_o consideration_n of_o all_o these_o thing_n thou_o may_v of_o thyself_o know_v that_o it_o be_v all_o false_a and_o nothing_o of_o it_o true_a and_o because_o i_o will_v not_o be_v too_o tedious_a i_o will_v not_o lay_v down_o the_o argument_n which_o may_v be_v make_v upon_o every_o thing_n which_o muhamed_a mention_n in_o this_o vision_n but_o i_o will_v conclude_v as_o concern_v the_o say_a vision_n chap._n ix_o the_o nine_o chapter_n treat_v of_o the_o paradise_n and_o glory_n which_o muhamed_a and_o the_o alcoran_n promise_n unto_o the_o moor_n in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v and_o how_o many_o paradise_n there_o be_v and_o how_o they_o be_v call_v and_o how_o many_o kind_n of_o glory_n the_o moor_n shall_v have_v in_o paradise_n the_o alcoran_n &_o the_o suné_n in_o describe_v the_o paradise_n of_o the_o moor_n and_o the_o glory_n thereof_o lay_v down_o five_o thing_n first_o the_o paradise_n itself_o and_o the_o mansion_n thereof_o second_o the_o riches_n and_o ornament_n of_o paradise_n three_o the_o food_n and_o provision_n the_o servant_n vessel_n of_o gold_n and_o silver_n and_o the_o eat_n and_o drink_v in_o paradise_n four_o the_o apparel_n garment_n and_o jewel_n which_o the_o moor_n say_v be_v prepare_v in_o paradise_n and_o fift_o and_o last_o the_o virgin_n their_o beauty_n their_o name_n and_o whence_o they_o be_v beget_v and_o wherewith_o they_o be_v clothe_v now_o this_o paradise_n be_v such_o according_a as_o the_o second_o chapter_n of_o the_o first_o book_n of_o the_o alcoran_n express_v in_o arabic_a cerihoile_n etc._n etc._n i._n e._n that_o the_o paradise_n promise_v unto_o the_o moor_n be_v as_o big_a as_o heaven_n and_o earth_n which_o be_v all_o the_o world_n but_o tell_v i_o o_o moor_n where_o be_v this_o paradise_n as_o big_a as_o all_o the_o world_n or_o else_o we_o must_v say_v that_o god_n have_v alcoran_n say_v and_o the_o suné_n describe_v be_v a_o tree_n as_o big_a as_o all_o paradise_n whereof_o some_o leaf_n be_v of_o gold_n other_o of_o silver_n and_o the_o branch_n of_o this_o tree_n cover_v the_o wall_n of_o paradise_n and_o this_o tree_n be_v call_v tuba_fw-la the_o book_n of_o the_o suné_fw-fr say_v that_o in_o every_o leaf_n of_o it_o the_o name_n of_o muhamed_a be_v write_v joint_o with_o the_o name_n of_o god_n run_v thus_o le_fw-fr ilehe_fw-ge ille_fw-la allah_o muhamed_a razollola_n i._n e._n there_o be_v no_o other_o god_n but_o the_o lord_n and_o muhamed_a be_v his_o messenger_n the_o alcoran_n in_o the_o nineteenth_o chapter_n of_o the_o three_o book_n and_o in_o the_o chapter_n of_o sacrifice_n in_o the_o chapter_n of_o mount_n sinai_n in_o the_o chapter_n precious_a stone_n and_o after_o what_o manner_n the_o moor_n shall_v sit_v and_o lie_v on_o these_o bed_n couch_n and_o tapestry_n that_o they_o shall_v laugh_v and_o take_v delight_n without_o care_n or_o grief_n
etc._n etc._n i._n e._n that_o god_n have_v forbid_v the_o moor_n that_o which_o be_v murrain_n blood_n swine_n that_o which_o be_v offer_v to_o idol_n and_o that_o which_o have_v be_v strangle_v that_o which_o die_v by_o the_o thrust_n of_o a_o horn_n or_o by_o a_o casualty_n and_o also_o wild_a beast_n &c_n &c_n he_o forbid_v all_o these_o thing_n in_o the_o say_a chapter_n the_o which_o also_o the_o moor_n do_v hold_v for_o prohibit_v and_o in_o another_o song_n in_o the_o five_o chapter_n of_o the_o first_o book_n god_n command_v and_o charge_v muhamed_a to_o tell_v the_o moor_n that_o they_o shall_v say_v nothing_o be_v prohibit_v and_o forbid_v to_o be_v eat_v or_o drink_v but_o murrain_n blood_n swine_n flesh_n and_o that_o which_o be_v offer_v to_o idol_n the_o say_v verse_n in_o arabic_a say_v thus_o o_o zolle_n agido_fw-la etc._n etc._n so_o that_o the_o moor_n in_o the_o first_o chapter_n forbid_v twelve_o thing_n and_o in_o the_o other_o chapter_n contradict_v themselves_o they_o forbid_v but_o four_o and_o if_o thou_o will_v say_v o_o moor_n that_o the_o verse_n of_o the_o last_o chapter_n be_v revoke_v by_o the_o first_o i_o prove_v that_o the_o first_o much_o less_o the_o last_o be_v not_o revoke_v but_o be_v verse_n which_o remain_v in_o force_n and_o virtue_n and_o which_o be_v call_v in_o arabic_a ayetum_n mohquemetum_n i_o e._n decisory_n and_o valid_a verse_n nay_o it_o be_v not_o find_v in_o all_o the_o alcoran_n that_o any_o former_a verse_n revoke_v the_o second_o for_o it_o may_v be_v reasonable_a that_o the_o second_o may_v revoke_v the_o first_o but_o not_o that_o the_o first_o shall_v revoke_v the_o second_o therefore_o i_o say_v that_o if_o the_o first_o verse_n be_v valid_a and_o decisory_a the_o second_o verse_n must_v likewise_o be_v valid_a and_o decisory_a and_o this_o be_v so_o conclude_v among_o the_o moor_n viz._n that_o both_o the_o verse_n shall_v be_v valid_a and_o decisory_a what_o say_v thou_o now_o o_o moor_n in_o this_o great_a confusion_n where_o one_o verse_n forbid_v twelve_o thing_n and_o the_o other_o forbid_v but_o four_o for_o hence_o it_o plain_o appear_v that_o these_o be_v not_o verse_n of_o god_n nor_o of_o a_o prophet_n send_v from_o god_n furthermore_o the_o alcoran_n in_o the_o eleven_o chapter_n of_o the_o second_o book_n write_v that_o the_o use_n of_o wine_n be_v allow_v the_o word_n in_o arabic_a say_v thus_o o_o guamin_n zamarati_fw-la etc._n etc._n which_o signify_v that_o of_o the_o fruit_n of_o the_o date_n of_o the_o palm_n tree_n and_o of_o grape_n you_o may_v drink_v and_o take_v lawful_a sustentation_n by_o force_n of_o which_o verse_n the_o moor_n drink_v wine_n lawful_o the_o space_n of_o twelve_o year_n but_o afterward_o upon_o a_o fancy_n which_o muhamed_a take_v he_o forbid_v it_o by_o word_n of_o mouth_n not_o by_o the_o alcoran_n so_o that_o muhamed_a contradict_v the_o alcoran_n and_o thus_o in_o divers_a chapter_n you_o find_v that_o the_o alcoran_n contradict_v itself_o likewise_o the_o alcoran_n say_v to_o muhamed_a that_o if_o he_o doubt_v whether_o the_o alcoran_n be_v of_o god_n or_o of_o man_n he_o shall_v inquire_v of_o good_a and_o true_a by_o which_o law_n the_o prophet_n and_o messenger_n do_v judge_v and_o all_o those_o who_o do_v not_o judge_v by_o the_o thora_n be_v unjust_a and_o unbeliever_n in_o god_n the_o word_n in_o arabic_a in_o the_o four_o chapter_n of_o the_o first_o book_n run_v thus_o ogua_fw-la anzelne_fw-la etc._n etc._n i._n e._n verbatim_o we_o god_n send_v the_o thora_n which_o be_v the_o not_o now_o what_o they_o be_v in_o the_o time_n of_o moses_n and_o in_o the_o time_n of_o jesus_n christ_n and_o that_o the_o christian_n have_v alter_v the_o gospel_n and_o the_o jew_n have_v pervert_v the_o thora_n to_o that_o i_o will_v answer_v o_o moor_n and_o say_v that_o that_o argument_n be_v not_o good_a for_o two_o reason_n the_o first_o and_o principal_a as_o concern_v the_o thora_n be_v that_o the_o same_o book_n and_o chapter_n which_o the_o jew_n have_v in_o the_o time_n of_o moses_n and_o in_o the_o time_n of_o the_o prophet_n until_o jesus_n christ_n the_o very_a same_o they_o have_v still_o and_o the_o christian_n have_v always_o have_v they_o without_o want_v a_o tittle_n &_o not_o only_o the_o thora_n which_o be_v the_o five_o book_n of_o moses_n but_o be_v the_o reason_n o_o honest_a moor_n be_v because_o the_o scripture_n be_v give_v by_o god_n and_o that_o scripture_n which_o be_v give_v by_o god_n will_v never_o be_v lose_v as_o be_v the_o book_n of_o muhamed_n suné_n as_o we_o have_v say_v above_o in_o the_o three_o chapter_n the_o second_o reason_n be_v because_o that_o when_o muhamed_a publish_v his_o reliligion_n it_o be_v already_o 600._o year_n since_o the_o christian_a law_n or_o religion_n have_v be_v preach_v to_o all_o the_o world_n and_o so_o long_o also_o have_v the_o old_a testament_n and_o the_o new_a be_v unite_v to_o wit_n the_o figure_n and_o the_o thing_n figure_v so_o concordant_a and_o harmonious_a as_o if_o they_o have_v be_v both_o one_o and_o the_o same_o thing_n and_o see_v god_n command_v muhamed_a to_o inquire_v of_o the_o reader_n of_o this_o scripture_n for_o his_o information_n the_o scripture_n doubtless_o be_v then_o good_a and_o true_a and_o be_v likewise_o at_o present_a good_a and_o true_a for_o the_o same_o as_o it_o then_o be_v it_o still_o be_v and_o if_o it_o have_v be_v alter_v at_o the_o time_n of_o muhamed_a god_n shall_v have_v give_v muhamed_a notice_n of_o it_o and_o have_v give_v he_o to_o know_v that_o at_o first_o it_o be_v good_a but_o then_o bad_a so_o that_o o_o moor_n thou_o have_v no_o right_n on_o thy_o side_n notwithstanding_o whatsoever_o the_o moor_n and_o musselman_n say_v for_o he_o that_o bring_v the_o testimony_n of_o two_o for_o proof_n of_o his_o own_o cause_n do_v yield_v that_o those_o witness_n be_v good_a and_o true_a not_o bad_a and_o reprochable_a because_o if_o they_o be_v reprochable_a and_o of_o ill_a fame_n they_o be_v not_o worthy_a to_o be_v receive_v for_o witness_n now_o if_o god_n bid_v muhamed_a to_o inquire_v of_o the_o jew_n and_o christian_n for_o his_o own_o information_n and_o satisfy_v himself_o from_o their_o two_o scripture_n you_o must_v conclude_v o_o moor_n that_o those_o scripture_n at_o the_o time_n of_o such_o inquiry_n be_v good_a and_o true_a as_o still_o they_o be_v and_o will_v always_o be_v and_o for_o this_o reason_n o_o moor_n thou_o must_v be_v silent_a and_o acknowledge_v that_o the_o alcoran_n contradict_v itself_o in_o divers_a place_n and_o so_o i_o will_v conclude_v this_o point_n concern_v the_o superfluous_a and_o immodest_a thing_n which_o muhamed_a have_v insert_v in_o the_o koran_n the_o first_o
they_o of_o mecca_n and_o the_o jew_n of_o medina_n say_v that_o this_o alcoran_n be_v nothing_o but_o old_a story_n put_v in_o rhyme_n by_o muhamed_a who_o be_v a_o poet_n and_o this_o say_n be_v in_o many_o place_n of_o the_o alcoran_n i_o think_v above_o a_o hundred_o call_v he_o in_o arabic_a sair_n which_o we_o call_v a_o poet_n and_o thus_o o_o moor_n i_o tell_v thou_o that_o thou_o have_v no_o other_o answer_n but_o silence_n and_o thus_o thou_o may_v come_v to_o know_v the_o truth_n and_o how_o unprofitable_a it_o be_v to_o set_v down_o the_o same_o history_n so_o often_o and_o to_o make_v many_o verse_n of_o one_o thing_n thereby_o to_o make_v the_o write_n large_a futhermore_o thou_o ought_v o_o moor_n to_o consider_v and_o observe_v the_o order_n which_o be_v in_o the_o holy_a evangelist_n of_o matthew_n mark_n luke_n and_o john_n and_o how_o they_o succeed_v each_o other_o in_o order_n with_o their_o chapter_n act_n mystery_n and_o miracle_n and_o how_o every_o one_o be_v insert_v according_a to_o its_o order_n and_o reason_n and_o how_o all_o the_o act_n and_o miracle_n be_v do_v and_o set_v down_o in_o their_o place_n which_o be_v a_o most_o necessary_a thing_n and_o not_o superfluous_a and_o show_v that_o the_o evangelist_n be_v of_o god_n and_o the_o work_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n not_o forge_v by_o cutler_n who_o muhamed_a thought_n be_v learned_a man_n and_o of_o who_o he_o learn_v and_o daily_o write_v down_o what_o they_o dictate_v and_o teach_v he_o whereby_o they_o ruin_v muhamed_a and_o make_v he_o insert_v so_o many_o vanity_n in_o his_o alcoran_n likewise_o o_o moor_n thou_o shall_v consider_v and_o observe_v the_o miracle_n which_o be_v set_v down_o in_o the_o five_o book_n of_o moses_n which_o moses_n do_v and_o which_o thy_o alcoran_n mention_n and_o likewise_o consider_v the_o miracle_n which_o jesus_n christ_n wrought_v which_o be_v relate_v in_o the_o evangelist_n and_o which_o the_o alcoran_n also_o mention_n and_o thou_o will_v see_v o_o moor_n what_o difference_n there_o be_v between_o those_o miracle_n and_o the_o miracle_n which_o muhamed_a say_v he_o write_v as_o you_o may_v see_v by_o some_o miracle_n undermentioned_n which_o muhamed_a do_v which_o when_o i_o have_v relate_v to_o thou_o thou_o will_v o_o moor_n come_v to_o know_v and_o observe_v that_o the_o miracle_n which_o be_v do_v by_o moses_n and_o by_o jesus_n christ_n be_v do_v of_o charity_n and_o according_a to_o the_o need_n or_o want_v which_o require_v they_o and_o thou_o will_v see_v that_o they_o be_v divine_a true_a and_o supernatural_a and_o do_v in_o the_o presence_n of_o thousand_o of_o man_n and_o woman_n and_o on_o the_o other_o side_n thou_o will_v see_v that_o muhamed_n miracle_n be_v do_v needless_o without_o charity_n and_o not_o in_o the_o presence_n of_o multitude_n of_o man_n no_o not_o of_o a_o few_o but_o only_o do_v and_o testify_v by_o himself_o alone_o for_o we_o do_v not_o read_v of_o any_o miracle_n of_o muhamed_a do_v in_o the_o presence_n of_o other_o man_n but_o only_o himself_o say_v it_o as_o be_v the_o miracle_n of_o the_o dream_n or_o vision_n and_o of_o alborack_n and_o of_o the_o angel_n when_o he_o come_v to_o he_o and_o several_a other_o which_o i_o will_v relate_v here_o among_o which_o miracle_n you_o shall_v not_o find_v one_o man_n to_o witness_v any_o one_o miracle_n of_o all_o those_o which_o he_o have_v write_v the_o first_o miracle_n be_v that_o which_o be_v mention_v above_o in_o the_o first_o chapter_n of_o muhamed_n life_n when_o the_o angel_n gabriel_n launch_v his_o stomach_n and_o pull_v out_o his_o heart_n and_o take_v out_o the_o black_a coat_n as_o we_o have_v relate_v above_o concern_v which_o miracle_n we_o do_v not_o read_v in_o all_o the_o law_n of_o the_o moor_n that_o any_o one_o see_v it_o do_v the_o second_o miracle_n be_v that_o which_o muhamed_a report_n of_o the_o cloud_n the_o book_n azar_n say_v that_o muhamed_a travel_v with_o the_o camel_n of_o his_o master_n gaddiza_n husband_n in_o the_o journey_n one_o day_n it_o chance_v to_o be_v very_o hot_a through_o the_o great_a sunshine_n and_o a_o cloud_n settle_v over_o muhameds_n head_n and_o follow_v he_o and_o over-shadowed_n he_o all_o the_o way_n muhamed_a say_v this_o happen_v when_o he_o be_v 16._o or_o 17._o year_n old_a but_o do_v not_o allege_v any_o witness_n that_o see_v the_o cloud_n follow_v he_o and_o overshadow_v he_o the_o three_o miracle_n be_v when_o the_o aforesaid_a angel_n come_v to_o he_o to_o the_o cave_n and_o salute_v he_o and_o begin_v to_o give_v he_o the_o law_n and_o the_o alcoran_n as_o it_o be_v say_v in_o the_o first_o chapter_n of_o muhamed_n law_n the_o four_o miracle_n be_v that_o where_o muhamed_a say_v that_o the_o beast_n stone_n tree_n and_o bird_n greet_v he_o and_o speak_v to_o he_o the_o book_n azar_n say_v that_o when_o muhamed_a have_v receive_v the_o embassage_n from_o the_o angel_n gabriel_n in_o the_o say_a cave_n as_o he_o return_v home_o all_o the_o beast_n bird_n tree_n and_o stone_n greet_v he_o and_o say_v to_o he_o rejoice_v o_o muhamed_a for_o thou_o be_v the_o prophet_n and_o messenger_n of_o god_n and_o that_o muhamed_a go_v alongst_o the_o path_n there_o lay_v the_o trunk_n of_o a_o tree_n in_o the_o way_n insomuch_o that_o muhamed_a be_v about_o to_o turn_v another_o way_n but_o because_o he_o shall_v not_o go_v out_o of_o his_o way_n the_o tree_n be_v cleave_v asunder_o in_o the_o midst_n and_o so_o muhamed_a pass_v through_o the_o middle_n of_o the_o tree_n and_o assoon_o as_o he_o be_v pass_v the_o tree_n grow_v together_o again_o as_o it_o be_v before_o all_o this_o muhamed_a say_v happen_v to_o he_o and_o yet_o there_o be_v no_o one_o see_v it_o neither_o be_v these_o miracle_n at_o all_o needful_a nor_o do_v of_o charity_n nor_o in_o the_o presence_n of_o other_o the_o five_o miracle_n be_v when_o the_o tree_n come_v to_o be_v a_o shadow_n unto_o muhamed_a and_o after_o they_o have_v shadow_v he_o they_o return_v to_o their_o own_o place_n again_o at_o his_o command_n in_o the_o suné_fw-fr it_o be_v say_v that_o muhamed_a report_v that_o be_v one_o day_n uncover_v in_o the_o field_n he_o have_v occasion_n to_o untruss_v during_o which_o the_o sun_n shine_v so_o hot_a on_o his_o head_n that_o he_o be_v all_o in_o a_o sweat_n whereupon_o he_o look_v towards_o certain_a tree_n which_o be_v far_o from_o he_o and_o call_v they_o and_o bid_v they_o come_v and_o shadow_v he_o and_o he_o say_v that_o at_o the_o same_o instant_n there_o come_v two_o tree_n tear_v the_o earth_n with_o their_o root_n till_o they_o come_v to_o the_o place_n where_o muhamed_a be_v and_o there_o they_o shadow_v he_o and_o afterward_o muhamed_a command_v the_o say_v tree_n to_o return_v to_o their_o place_n again_o the_o which_o they_o do_v and_o the_o earth_n close_v up_o again_o as_o it_o be_v at_o first_o the_o word_n in_o arabic_a say_v thus_o o_o guafidubaique_a etc._n etc._n i._n e._n that_o muhamed_a call_v the_o tree_n to_o come_v to_o he_o and_o by_o the_o divine_a will_v they_o come_v very_o obedient_o with_o their_o bough_n and_o afterward_o he_o command_v they_o to_o return_v to_o their_o place_n with_o their_o root_n the_o six_o miracle_n be_v when_o the_o moon_n divide_v itself_o into_o two_o piece_n the_o alcoran_n in_o the_o chapter_n of_o the_o moon_n in_o the_o four_o book_n say_v that_o the_o moon_n divivide_v itself_o in_o the_o midst_n and_o the_o gloss_n and_o the_o book_n of_o azar_n upon_o this_o text_n say_v that_o muhame_v report_v that_o one_o night_n a_o uncle_n of_o his_o call_v bugellin_n who_o be_v the_o most_o potent_a of_o his_o uncle_n come_v and_o say_v to_o he_o o_o muhamed_a if_o thou_o will_v do_v a_o miracle_n which_o i_o shall_v require_v i_o will_v present_o become_v moor_n and_o musselman_n and_o will_v believe_v that_o thou_o be_v a_o prophet_n unto_o who_o muhamed_a answer_v and_o say_v that_o he_o be_v content_a then_o his_o uncle_n tell_v he_o that_o if_o he_o can_v make_v the_o moon_n come_v to_o the_o midst_n of_o heaven_n and_o be_v in_o the_o full_a whereas_o she_o be_v then_o as_o the_o say_a book_n report_v twenty_o one_o day_n old_a and_o if_o the_o moon_n do_v divide_v itself_o in_o the_o midst_n and_o come_v out_o of_o heaven_n to_o the_o earth_n and_o those_o two_o piece_n go_v the_o one_o through_o the_o hole_n of_o one_o of_o muhameds_n sleeve_n and_o the_o other_o piece_n through_o the_o hole_n of_o the_o other_o sleeve_n and_o both_o piece_n come_v out_o of_o the_o choler_n of_o muhameds_n coat_n speak_v and_o say_v that_o muhamed_a be_v the_o prophet_n of_o god_n and_o join_v themselves_o together_o again_o
