our_o own_o practice_n and_o we_o shall_v find_v our_o own_o judgement_n to_o be_v such_o if_o we_o have_v child_n and_o set_v they_o to_o their_o book_n we_o look_v that_o according_a to_o their_o time_n spend_v thereat_o their_o profit_v shall_v be_v and_o that_o they_o shall_v increase_v in_o knowledge_n and_o learning_n as_o they_o grow_v in_o year_n and_o in_o time_n spend_v at_o their_o book_n and_o if_o they_o do_v not_o so_o profit_n we_o take_v they_o from_o the_o school_n and_o set_v they_o to_o some_o other_o thing_n so_o that_o by_o our_o own_o judgement_n so_o many_o of_o we_o as_o be_v teach_v in_o the_o school_n of_o christ_n we_o shall_v increase_v in_o the_o knowledge_n of_o christ_n and_o as_o we_o spend_v more_o and_o more_o time_n in_o the_o school_n of_o christ_n so_o shall_v we_o abound_v more_o and_o more_o in_o the_o knowledge_n of_o christ_n and_o if_o we_o do_v not_o so_o by_o our_o own_o judgement_n we_o be_v to_o be_v exclude_v as_o non_fw-la proficient_o out_o of_o the_o school_n of_o christ_n and_o what_o then_o become_v of_o we_o nothing_o then_o to_o set_v we_o unto_o but_o as_o it_o be_v say_v to_o the_o unprofitable_a servant_n soon_o suspect_v you_o of_o heresy_n the_o more_o knowledge_n you_o have_v in_o the_o scripture_n such_o be_v they_o that_o will_v have_v pray_v sing_a reading_z and_o all_o other_o rite_n of_o the_o judgement_n in_o all_o judgement_n that_o be_v in_o sound_a judgement_n that_o have_v their_o wit_n exercise_v through_o long_a custom_n they_o may_v discern_v both_o good_a and_o evil_a so_o that_o as_o he_o will_v have_v they_o to_o abound_v more_o and_o more_o in_o knowledge_n so_o far_o he_o will_v have_v they_o also_o to_o abound_v more_o and_o more_o in_o a_o sound_n and_o feel_a experience_n of_o spiritual_a thing_n in_o themselves_o that_o they_o may_v spiritual_o feel_v in_o their_o heart_n and_o soul_n that_o which_o they_o know_v out_o of_o the_o word_n whence_o i_o observe_v a_o further_a continual_a care_n necessary_a for_o all_o christian_n and_o that_o be_v that_o they_o may_v abound_v daily_o more_o and_o more_o not_o in_o knowledge_n only_o of_o god_n will_v out_o of_o his_o word_n but_o in_o sound_a judgement_n also_o through_o a_o feel_a experience_n in_o themselves_o of_o such_o spiritual_a thing_n as_o they_o know_v out_o of_o the_o word_n that_o what_o they_o know_v out_o of_o the_o word_n they_o may_v feel_v the_o truth_n of_o it_o by_o experience_n in_o themselves_o this_o care_n our_o apostle_n show_v that_o he_o have_v where_o he_o say_v that_o the_o thing_n which_o he_o esteem_v be_v to_o know_v christ_n 3.10_o phil._n 3.10_o and_o the_o virtue_n of_o his_o resurrection_n he_o know_v the_o doctrine_n of_o christ_n his_o resurrection_n and_o he_o know_v this_o to_o be_v the_o virtue_n of_o christ_n his_o resurrection_n that_o by_o it_o the_o saint_n of_o god_n rise_v from_o the_o death_n of_o sin_n unto_o the_o life_n of_o righteousness_n but_o his_o desire_n far_a be_v that_o he_o may_v feel_v in_o himself_o and_o know_v by_o his_o own_o experience_n the_o virtue_n of_o christ_n his_o resurrection_n by_o the_o death_n of_o sin_n and_o the_o
namely_o if_o christ_n be_v unto_o we_o both_o in_o life_n and_o in_o death_n advantage_n second_o that_o the_o vantage_n whereof_o we_o be_v to_o make_v reckon_v in_o our_o life_n be_v that_o christ_n jesus_n may_v be_v glorify_v by_o our_o life_n and_o three_o that_o the_o vantage_n whereof_o we_o be_v to_o make_v reckon_v in_o our_o death_n be_v that_o christ_n jesus_n may_v be_v glorify_v by_o our_o death_n now_o upon_o this_o occasion_n that_o he_o have_v say_v that_o he_o be_v very_o indifferent_a unto_o either_o life_n or_o death_n because_o christ_n be_v unto_o he_o both_o in_o life_n and_o in_o death_n advantage_n the_o apostle_n make_v a_o little_a digression_n and_o dispute_v the_o point_n whether_o be_v better_a for_o he_o to_o choose_v life_n or_o death_n and_o first_o in_o this_o verse_n he_o move_v the_o doubt_n and_o answer_v it_o in_o these_o word_n and_o whither_o etc._n etc._n which_o word_n i_o know_v be_v diverse_o read_v but_o the_o word_n profitable_a for_o he_o and_o what_o to_o choose_v life_n or_o death_n be_v best_a for_o he_o and_o the_o answer_n be_v that_o he_o know_v not_o what_o to_o choose_v life_n or_o death_n be_v in_o own_o salvation_n nor_o their_o people_n look_v only_o to_o fleece_v they_o but_o never_o care_v what_o become_v of_o they_o a_o point_n which_o may_v be_v much_o enlarge_v but_o not_o so_o fit_o in_o this_o place_n if_o the_o urge_v of_o it_o may_v concern_v any_o here_o i_o beseech_v they_o in_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n to_o think_v further_o of_o it_o with_o themselves_o the_o second_o thing_n which_o here_o i_o observe_v be_v this_o that_o if_o we_o be_v at_o peace_n with_o god_n and_o keep_v faith_n and_o a_o good_a conscience_n whatsoever_o our_o outward_a state_n be_v we_o have_v such_o comfort_n and_o joy_n on_o every_o hand_n that_o neither_o we_o desire_v to_o die_v in_o respect_n of_o the_o grief_n of_o this_o life_n nor_o to_o live_v in_o respect_n of_o any_o fear_n of_o death_n become_v like_o stone_n no_o comfort_n or_o contentment_n a_o great_a many_o of_o we_o find_v either_o in_o death_n or_o in_o life_n but_o what_o through_o grief_n of_o the_o one_o and_o fear_v of_o the_o other_o we_o be_v often_o out_o of_o love_n with_o the_o one_o and_o with_o the_o other_o and_o the_o reason_n be_v plain_a for_o it_o be_v because_o we_o be_v not_o at_o peace_n with_o god_n nor_o have_v the_o mystery_n of_o faith_n in_o a_o good_a conscience_n we_o feel_v no_o comfort_n in_o our_o god_n through_o our_o reconciliation_n by_o jesus_n christ_n we_o want_v a_o sound_n and_o a_o lively_a faith_n whereby_o we_o shall_v take_v hold_n of_o the_o promise_n of_o god_n make_v in_o christ_n jesus_n and_o a_o bad_a conscience_n so_o trouble_v we_o that_o all_o be_v disquiet_v within_o us._n and_o therefore_o we_o find_v no_o comfort_n or_o contentment_n in_o life_n or_o in_o death_n but_o discomfort_n and_o discontentment_n in_o both_o will_v we_o then_o find_v comfort_n
