faith_n and_o act_n according_a to_o the_o necessary_a direction_n of_o it_o now_o how_o easy_a be_v that_o when_o we_o have_v convince_v ourselves_o thorough_o of_o the_o two_o former_a all_o the_o difficulty_n and_o labour_n be_v to_o believe_v serious_o and_o steadfast_o to_o persuade_v ourselves_o of_o the_o truth_n of_o those_o thing_n which_o god_n have_v prepare_v for_o those_o that_o love_v he_o when_o they_o be_v become_v sensible_a to_o we_o and_o we_o look_v constant_o for_o the_o mercy_n of_o our_o lord_n unto_o eternal_a life_n we_o can_v choose_v but_o endeavour_n to_o attain_v they_o more_o than_o the_o best_a condition_n that_o this_o world_n afford_v and_o when_o we_o see_v that_o they_o can_v be_v possess_v without_o a_o holy_a life_n what_o shall_v hinder_v good_a and_o to_o leave_v and_o eschew_v that_o which_o be_v apprehend_v to_o be_v evil_a so_o it_o be_v make_v to_o prefer_v a_o great_a good_a before_o a_o little_a and_o to_o abandon_v a_o trifle_a enjoyment_n if_o by_o that_o mean_v we_o may_v escape_v a_o sore_a mischief_n and_o gain_v a_o more_o noble_a and_o illustrious_a happiness_n now_o it_o be_v no_o less_o apparent_a that_o a_o royal_a palace_n be_v more_o desirable_a in_o all_o man_n eye_n than_o a_o little_a hovel_n of_o turf_n and_o straw_n a_o everlasting_a building_n that_o will_v need_v no_o repair_n nor_o ever_o fall_v to_o the_o ground_n to_o be_v choose_v before_o a_o totter_a frame_n which_o every_o gust_n of_o wind_n shake_v and_o must_v short_o tumble_v into_o the_o dust_n upon_o which_o it_o stand_v what_o be_v the_o matter_n then_o that_o man_n prefer_v the_o condition_n of_o a_o beggar_n before_o that_o of_o a_o prince_n that_o they_o set_v their_o heart_n upon_o that_o which_o be_v build_v upon_o a_o dunghill_n before_o that_o who_o foundation_n be_v in_o heaven_n and_o stand_v upon_o the_o immutable_a promise_n and_o power_n of_o god_n i_o mean_v that_o the_o pleasure_n and_o enjoyment_n of_o this_o life_n gain_v a_o high_a esteem_n in_o their_o thought_n than_o the_o delicious_a joy_n of_o the_o world_n to_o come_v and_o the_o dull_a entertainment_n of_o this_o body_n be_v advance_v and_o lift_v up_o to_o a_o high_a place_n in_o their_o affection_n than_o all_o the_o entertainment_n of_o the_o soul_n yea_o and_o those_o which_o god_n have_v provide_v for_o the_o body_n itself_o if_o we_o will_v manage_v and_o order_v all_o its_o desire_n according_a to_o his_o holy_a will_n there_o can_v no_o cause_n be_v assign_v of_o this_o preposterous_a choice_n but_o only_o this_o that_o they_o feel_v these_o present_a thing_n but_o have_v no_o feel_n of_o those_o that_o be_v to_o come_v they_o let_v sense_n prevail_v above_o faith_n and_o what_o here_o address_v itself_o to_o they_o they_o receive_v with_o a_o great_a affection_n than_o they_o do_v the_o report_n of_o those_o heavenly_a thing_n which_o our_o saviour_n have_v bring_v to_o light_v by_o his_o gospel_n they_o taste_v the_o pleasure_n of_o meat_n and_o drink_n and_o all_o the_o enjoyment_n of_o a_o fleshly_a nature_n but_o have_v little_a or_o no_o relish_n at_o all_o of_o those_o delight_n which_o be_v spiritual_a for_o the_o hope_n of_o which_o our_o lord_n and_o his_o apostle_n despise_v the_o other_o as_o not_o worthy_a to_o be_v compare_v with_o the_o pleasure_n that_o be_v at_o god_n right_a hand_n for_o evermore_o they_o feel_v this_o body_n wherein_o they_o now_o be_v and_o though_o it_o be_v heavy_a and_o burdensome_a in_o some_o condition_n of_o life_n yet_o it_o be_v better_a a_o great_a deal_n than_o none_o at_o all_o and_o such_o the_o heavenly_a building_n seem_v to_o be_v because_o our_o soul_n be_v not_o unite_v to_o it_o and_o have_v no_o sense_n of_o it_o but_o look_v upon_o it_o as_o a_o thing_n that_o be_v not_o and_o never_o shall_v be_v bestow_v on_o they_o we_o must_v persuade_v ourselves_o then_o of_o the_o reality_n and_o certainty_n of_o the_o state_n which_o be_v to_o
