nature_n they_o must_v be_v more_o employ_v in_o the_o active_a life_n and_o outward_a thing_n then_o in_o the_o solitary_a or_o contemplative_a life_n for_o the_o very_a solitude_n be_v able_a to_o make_v they_o weak_a and_o therefore_o let_v they_o be_v obedient_a be_v apply_v to_o outward_a thing_n and_o let_v they_o be_v sure_a that_o this_o be_v very_o grateful_a to_o god_n and_o they_o no_o sister_n mary_n magdalen_n who_o give_v herself_o whole_o to_o the_o contemplative_a 19_o so_o that_o they_o must_v in_o this_o case_n resist_v that_o weakness_n and_o believe_v for_o certain_a that_o it_o be_v no_o effect_n of_o supernatural_a prayer_n for_o in_o this_o sort_n of_o prayer_n the_o body_n be_v rather_o comfort_v and_o delight_v then_o trouble_v or_o weaken_v by_o reason_n the_o over_o great_a content_n and_o joy_n of_o the_o soul_n do_v redound_v to_o the_o body_n and_o it_o do_v partake_v of_o her_o inward_a felicity_n as_o it_o be_v know_v by_o experience_n unless_o it_o be_v in_o the_o prayer_n of_o union_n when_o the_o soul_n power_n and_o sense_n be_v whole_o unite_v and_o drown_v in_o god_n divine_a essence_n for_o though_o then_o the_o body_n be_v destitute_a of_o all_o force_n this_o do_v not_o continue_v but_o for_o a_o short_a time_n as_o i_o say_v elsewhere_o and_o it_o do_v return_v to_o itself_o again_o with_o strength_n content_n and_o great_a if_o they_o be_v true_a they_o work_v that_o effect_n in_o the_o soul_n though_o soon_o after_o she_o be_v in_o great_a quietness_n and_o content_a moreover_o you_o must_v not_o go_v to_o prayer_n through_o curiosity_n to_o know_v any_o thing_n by_o revelation_n nor_o adhere_v to_o your_o own_o opinion_n or_o proper_a judgement_n concern_v any_o thing_n reveal_v but_o easy_o submit_v to_o the_o be_v very_o odious_a to_o she_o to_o walk_v be_v troublesome_a to_o speak_v and_o not_o of_o he_o be_v very_o painful_a to_o eat_v be_v a_o kind_n of_o death_n though_o nature_n do_v require_v it_o
