observe_v that_o they_o be_v all_o but_o occasional_o write_v and_o that_o no_o writer_n do_v undertake_v to_o set_v down_o the_o whole_a platform_n of_o christian_a obedience_n or_o to_o compose_v implant_v not_o only_o in_o order_n of_o resemblance_n herein_o to_o its_o author_n but_o to_o the_o formal_a state_v of_o it_o such_o or_o such_o concern_v some_o of_o the_o near_a resemblance_n of_o deity_n in_o the_o thing_n of_o life_n which_o we_o call_v individual_n we_o have_v former_o speak_v as_o also_o of_o man_n above_o they_o all_o but_o this_o affection_n of_o unity_n be_v so_o much_o more_o close_o accompany_v they_o that_o it_o not_o only_o formal_o constitute_v they_o but_o thereby_o also_o difference_v they_o from_o inanimate_v who_o can_v receive_v no_o formal_a unity_n but_o what_o must_v arise_v from_o the_o definition_n of_o their_o whole_a mass_n whereas_o in_o the_o definition_n of_o any_o species_n of_o individual_n that_o natural_a unity_n which_o appear_v therein_o can_v have_v no_o other_o true_a existence_n or_o perfection_n then_o what_o be_v first_o real_o inherent_a in_o and_o constitute_v by_o the_o individual_n themselves_o as_o be_v the_o observable_a property_n in_o they_o several_o abide_v as_o therefore_o all_o thing_n together_o with_o their_o creation_n and_o existence_n from_o god_n proceed_v receive_v from_o he_o this_o affection_n of_o unity_n also_o as_o necessary_o constitute_v they_o distinct_a from_o the_o whole_a race_n of_o thing_n so_o to_o the_o end_n that_o the_o maker_n praise_n may_v yet_o receive_v addition_n and_o increase_n though_o the_o increase_n of_o the_o several_a object_n of_o his_o bounty_n and_o goodness_n and_o that_o this_o division_n of_o the_o whole_a mass_n may_v not_o by_o civil_a war_n and_o disunion_n among_o themselves_o prove_v the_o overthrow_n of_o one_o another_o but_o that_o one_o thing_n may_v be_v a_o continual_a support_n unto_o the_o good_a and_o preservation_n of_o another_o and_o thereby_o all_o conspire_v to_o the_o same_o end_n god_n glory_n we_o may_v observe_v all_o those_o friendly_a instinct_n and_o property_n bestow_v by_o god_n on_o natural_a agent_n as_o heretofore_o note_v by_o mean_n of_o which_o propensity_n and_o benign_a aspect_n of_o one_o thing_n towards_o another_o ariseth_z that_o other_o affection_n which_o we_o call_v goodness_n so_o that_o when_o the_o separate_a existency_n of_o thing_n which_o state_n truth_n be_v by_o this_o affection_n of_o goodness_n make_v agree_v in_o thing_n to_o their_o own_o mutual_a preservation_n and_o to_o god_n glory_n also_o then_o do_v the_o prevalence_n of_o union_n appear_v herein_o again_o as_o join_v good_a to_o truth_n and_o creation_n to_o providence_n and_o make_v the_o creature_n end_n or_o preservation_n conspire_v to_o that_o of_o god_n his_o own_o glory_n and_o god_n glory_n to_o meet_v in_o direct_a point_n with_o their_o good_a but_o now_o although_o these_o benevolent_a inclination_n of_o thing_n may_v suffice_v to_o mutual_a preservation_n in_o inanimate_v and_o such_o sensitives_n as_o have_v none_o or_o small_a cause_n of_o division_n through_o largeness_n of_o private_a appetite_n and_o will_n so_o to_o the_o end_n that_o voluntary_a agent_n which_o be_v most_o to_o seek_v it_o may_v not_o be_v subject_a to_o recompense_v their_o own_o high_a sense_n of_o felicity_n from_o god_n receive_v with_o the_o ingrateful_a diminution_n of_o his_o glory_n in_o the_o disturbance_n of_o the_o course_n of_o his_o providence_n it_o be_v onward_o necessary_a that_o for_o maintenance_n of_o the_o same_o unity_n which_o be_v make_v as_o aforesaid_a by_o inward_a instinct_n in_o other_o thing_n there_o shall_v not_o only_o be_v a_o inward_a natural_a appetite_n to_o union_n implant_v which_o we_o call_v love_n but_o also_o such_o outward_a direction_n give_v to_o they_o that_o through_o the_o due_a observance_n hereof_o their_o union_n and_o meeting_n among_o themselves_o may_v tend_v to_o the_o like_a end_n with_o the_o other_o thing_n before_o speak_v of_o namely_o the_o preservation_n and_o maintenance_n of_o god_n glory_n and_o their_o own_o
