answer_v first_o he_o be_v not_o discernible_a nor_o present_a after_o a_o corporal_a manner_n to_o the_o bodily_a eye_n though_o he_o be_v real_o and_o true_o present_a the_o bread_n that_o he_o give_v be_v his_o body_n and_o the_o cup_n his_o blood_n and_o yet_o it_o be_v bread_n and_o wine_n which_o be_v give_v and_o not_o his_o body_n and_o blood_n corporal_o second_o he_o be_v not_o present_a and_o communicable_a by_o any_o local_a mutation_n by_o take_v we_o up_o to_o heaven_n to_o he_o or_o by_o bring_v his_o body_n out_o of_o heaven_n to_o we_o but_o he_o be_v these_o three_o way_n present_a and_o communicable_a first_o to_o our_o spiritual_a sense_n to_o a_o enlighten_v understanding_n which_o consider_v christ_n body_n break_v and_o his_o blood_n shed_v second_o to_o the_o faith_n of_o his_o people_n he_o be_v present_a in_o his_o own_o ordinance_n when_o his_o spirit_n go_v along_o and_o quicken_v their_o heart_n and_o their_o faith_n be_v in_o exercise_n they_o be_v make_v to_o apprehend_v christ_n body_n and_o to_o have_v a_o union_n with_o he_o sit_v in_o glory_n as_o real_o as_o they_o partake_v of_o the_o element_n with_o their_o hand_n and_o feed_v upon_o they_o with_o their_o mouth_n and_o stomach_n a_o union_n as_o real_a as_o be_v betwixt_o the_o head_n and_o the_o member_n and_o betwixt_o the_o root_n and_o the_o branch_n these_o two_o the_o spirit_n on_o christ_n side_n and_o faith_n on_o our_o side_n make_v up_o a_o real_a union_n and_o therefore_o though_o this_o presence_n be_v real_a yet_o it_o be_v spiritual_a faith_n look_v and_o go_v through_o the_o element_n take_v up_o christ_n according_a to_o the_o end_n appoint_v and_o this_o make_v the_o union_n even_o as_o faith_n will_v look_v and_o go_v through_o the_o word_n and_o credit_v the_o word_n take_v up_o christ_n in_o it_o and_o make_v a_o union_n with_o he_o so_o by_o virtue_n of_o this_o ordinance_n there_o be_v a_o spiritual_a presence_n of_o and_o union_n with_o how_o he_o may_v be_v present_a to_o the_o faith_n of_o the_o believer_n in_o the_o sacrament_n all_o which_o way_n he_o be_v make_v discernible_a 1_o in_o respect_n of_o the_o institution_n for_o many_o professor_n even_o the_o abuse_n of_o the_o lord_n table_n in_o partake_v of_o his_o table_n and_o of_o the_o table_n of_o devil_n i_o shall_v name_v but_o a_o few_o sin_n here_o that_o you_o will_v notice_n and_o try_v yourselves_o in_o as_o to_o this_o first_o you_o have_v often_o communicate_v have_v you_o also_o often_o examine_v yourselves_o can_v many_o of_o you_o pitch_n on_o such_o a_o hour_n or_o half_a hour_n that_o you_o set_v a_o part_n to_o try_v your_o soul_n condition_n second_o i_o will_v ask_v what_o repentance_n have_v there_o be_v right_a examination_n make_v wont_a to_o be_v deadness_n security_n and_o worldly_a mindedness_n as_o they_o be_v before_o be_v we_o not_o as_o little_a self_n deny_v as_o unready_a to_o foe_n give_v as_o ignorant_a and_o have_v as_o little_a knowledge_n of_o gospel_n mystery_n as_o we_o be_v and_o have_v many_o a_o year_n since_o but_o very_o few_o can_v say_v on_o good_a ground_n that_o they_o have_v make_v any_o progress_n in_o mortification_n and_o holiness_n and_o except_o it_o be_v some_o conviction_n some_o flash_n of_o affection_n or_o some_o faint_a resolution_n to_o amend_v thing_n amiss_o what_o use_n have_v be_v make_v of_o or_o what_o benefit_n have_v be_v reap_v by_o many_o and_o that_o not_o of_o the_o worst_a sort_n by_o the_o communion_n and_o therefore_o in_o the_o next_o place_n let_v i_o say_v that_o it_o be_v not_o unbecoming_a or_o unsuitable_a to_o the_o communion_n to_o make_v this_o night_n a_o night_n of_o humiliation_n before_o god_n and_o of_o prayer_n to_o he_o to_o be_v deliver_v that_o you_o may_v come_v know_v well_o what_o you_o need_v and_o what_o you_o be_v to_o receive_v if_o you_o come_v aright_o the_o three_o and_o main_a use_n be_v that_o see_v there_o be_v so_o great_a ground_n to_o fear_v communicate_v unworthy_o and_o that_o so_o great_a judgement_n follow_v upon_o it_o it_o will_v be_v as_o our_o fear_n to_o communicate_v unworthy_o so_o our_o uptaking_a business_n how_o we_o may_v communicate_v worthy_o this_o be_v the_o end_n of_o the_o day_n and_o shall_v be_v our_o task_n and_o work_v this_o night_n even_o to_o endeavour_v to_o be_v worthy_a communicant_n to_o morrow_n you_o will_v ready_o ask_v how_o be_v such_o a_o frame_n to_o be_v attain_v and_o come_v by_o i_o will_v for_o answer_v desire_v you_o serious_o to_o mind_n what_o you_o
