sanctify_v and_o set_v a_o part_n for_o such_o a_o holy_a use_n from_o their_o ordinary_a food_n we_o learn_v that_o it_o be_v the_o property_n of_o a_o unworthy_a receiver_n and_o of_o such_o a_o one_o as_o do_v eat_v and_o drink_v unto_o his_o own_o damnation_n to_o put_v no_o difference_n between_o bread_n and_o wine_n in_o this_o sacrament_n and_o common_a bread_n and_o common_a wine_n but_o eat_v and_o devour_v the_o bread_n and_o wine_n never_o look_v after_o or_o regard_v to_o feed_v on_o christ_n who_o be_v therein_o exhibit_v to_o every_o true_a believer_n now_o what_o be_v this_o else_o but_o to_o contemn_v christ_n and_o his_o merit_n and_o the_o undeserued_a love_n of_o god_n the_o father_n himself_o who_o have_v prepare_v such_o a_o bountiful_a feast_n for_o we_o when_o we_o will_v not_o see_v nor_o regard_v that_o food_n by_o the_o which_o we_o shall_v live_v for_o ever_o so_o that_o again_o here_o come_v to_o be_v consider_v the_o grievousnes_n of_o that_o sin_n of_o unworthy_a receive_n the_o apostle_n call_v it_o a_o not_o discern_v of_o the_o lord_n body_n and_o here_o by_o do_v not_o lessen_v the_o fault_n but_o rather_o teach_v we_o that_o this_o light_a esteem_n and_o slight_a regard_n that_o most_o man_n have_v of_o this_o so_o holy_a and_o sacred_a a_o ordinance_n howsoever_o man_n make_v light_a account_n of_o it_o and_o the_o grace_n that_o be_v therein_o offer_v yet_o it_o be_v such_o a_o sin_n as_o grievous_o offend_v the_o majesty_n of_o god_n and_o pull_v down_o upon_o man_n his_o fearful_a wrath_n if_o the_o king_n shall_v pass_v by_o we_o and_o we_o know_v he_o not_o how_o can_v we_o do_v he_o that_o reverence_n we_o ought_v inasmuch_o as_o we_o can_v nor_o discern_v he_o nor_o know_v his_o person_n even_o thus_o fare_v it_o with_o man_n in_o this_o sacrament_n albeit_o the_o lord_n be_v nigh_o unto_o his_o servant_n that_o come_v in_o a_o holy_a manner_n there-unto_a in_o faith_n repentance_n and_o true_a obedience_n and_o that_o such_o feed_v upon_o christ_n to_o their_o endless_a comfort_n yet_o it_o be_v not_o so_o with_o the_o wicked_a the_o reason_n be_v they_o discern_v not_o the_o lord_n body_n they_o can_v see_v nor_o perceive_v any_o difference_n at_o all_o betwixt_o this_o bread_n and_o their_o ordinary_a food_n they_o want_v the_o eye_n of_o faith_n to_o discern_v christ_n who_o be_v spiritual_o discern_v and_o hence_o be_v it_o that_o they_o in_o stead_n of_o reap_v comfort_n and_o benefit_n by_o this_o his_o ordinance_n do_v rather_o dishonour_v god_n contemn_v christ_n and_o his_o merit_n and_o draw_v down_o upon_o their_o own_o head_n swift_a damnation_n use_v 1_o now_o then_o if_o all_o those_o that_o be_v not_o able_a to_o discern_v of_o the_o lord_n body_n receive_v unworthy_o and_o eat_v and_o drink_v their_o own_o damnation_n this_o show_n in_o what_o a_o lamentable_a and_o fearful_a estate_n many_o thousand_o in_o the_o world_n be_v at_o this_o day_n for_o ask_v they_o what_o they_o receive_v in_o this_o sacrament_n they_o make_v you_o a_o marvelous_a silly_a and_o ignorant_a answer_n they_o receive_v their_o maker_n a_o bit_n of_o bread_n and_o a_o little_a wine_n and_o the_o like_a by_o which_o ignorant_a and_o profane_a speech_n of_o they_o they_o show_v that_o they_o discern_v not_o the_o lord_n body_n but_o eat_v and_o drink_v unto_o their_o own_o perdition_n use_v 2_o second_o let_v this_o serve_v for_o our_o instruction_n that_o as_o we_o desire_v to_o receive_v this_o sacrament_n worthy_o and_o so_o as_o we_o may_v find_v true_a peace_n &_o comfort_n unto_o out_o soul_n let_v we_o labour_n to_o be_v right_o instruct_v in_o the_o doctrine_n of_o it_o that_o so_o we_o may_v be_v able_a to_o discern_v the_o lord_n body_n and_o to_o apprehend_v what_o rich_a treasure_n be_v offer_v unto_o every_o true_a beleeveâ—_n herein_o even_o christ_n with_o all_o his_o merit_n and_o not_o a_o piece_n of_o bread_n as_o many_o fond_o imagine_v and_o that_o these_o element_n be_v set_v a_o part_n by_o god_n himself_o and_o sanctify_v unto_o we_o by_o the_o word_n and_o prayer_n be_v now_o become_v unto_o we_o sign_n and_o seal_n of_o the_o body_n and_o blood_n of_o christ_n and_o of_o those_o benefit_n that_o come_v unto_o we_o by_o his_o passion_n and_o so_o be_v able_a to_o put_v a_o difference_n between_o they_o and_o common_a bread_n and_o common_a wine_n first_o because_o they_o be_v set_v apart_o by_o god_n to_o a_o special_a use_n not_o so_o much_o to_o feed_v the_o body_n as_o to_o nourish_v and_o refresh_v the_o soul_n second_o because_o be_v now_o sanctify_v they_o serve_v to_o be_v sacrament_n sign_n and_o seal_n of_o heavenly_a thing_n and_o spiritual_a mystery_n even_o of_o the_o body_n and_o blood_n of_o jesus_n christ_n and_o all_o those_o
