fear_n of_o his_o majesty_n where_o be_v my_o faith_n and_o godliness_n be_v this_o the_o thanks_n i_o give_v to_o my_o god_n for_o his_o so_o innumerable_a benefit_n be_v this_o the_o thanks_n i_o do_v yield_v to_o christ_n for_o my_o salvation_n do_v i_o thus_o submit_v myself_o to_o the_o direction_n of_o the_o holy_a spirit_n with_o this_o holiness_n do_v i_o approach_v unto_o the_o lord_n table_n look_v i_o for_o the_o come_n of_o christ_n after_o such_o a_o sort_n shall_v death_n lay_v hold_n on_o i_o in_o this_o state_n of_o life_n shall_v i_o go_v unto_o the_o judgement_n seat_n of_o god_n in_o this_o pickle_n shall_v i_o suffer_v my_o affection_n to_o prevail_v the_o weak_a flesh_n to_o overcome_v sin_n to_o reign_v in_o my_o body_n be_o i_o so_o void_a of_o stomach_n and_o therefore_o i_o say_v do_v not_o forget_v this_o benefit_n at_o any_o time_n love_v he_o worship_v he_o serve_v he_o honour_v he_o overmore_o who_o have_v make_v thou_o his_o son_n by_o adoption_n shameful_a thing_n to_o degenerate_v therefrom_o and_o if_o at_o any_o time_n unwittinglie_o thou_o commit_v somewhat_o contrary_a to_o thy_o father_n mind_n as_o great_a be_v man_n frailty_n let_v it_o much_o grieve_v thy_o heart_n punish_v thyself_o therefore_o think_v no_o pain_n grievous_a enough_o for_o thou_o who_o have_v offend_v so_o merciful_a a_o father_n and_o never_o be_v quiet_a in_o mind_n and_o at_o rest_n till_o thou_o have_v recover_v thy_o offence_n with_o great_a good_a deed_n and_o pacify_v thy_o father_n by_o unfeigned_a repentance_n so_o far_o shall_v thou_o be_v from_o sin_v voluntary_o and_o from_o commit_v any_o sin_n against_o thy_o conscience_n and_o who_o so_o remember_v how_o that_o he_o be_v the_o son_n and_o heir_n of_o god_n the_o brother_n &_o heir_n annex_v to_o christ_n doubtless_o will_v be_v terrify_v from_o sin_n and_o wickedness_n not_o so_o much_o for_o fear_n of_o the_o last_o judgement_n of_o everlasting_a torment_n and_o of_o hell_n fire_n which_o never_o will_v be_v quench_v as_o for_o fear_n of_o displease_v his_o so_o love_a father_n and_o will_v endeavour_n to_o live_v godly_a to_o offend_v no_o man_n after_o the_o example_n of_o the_o father_n to_o do_v well_o to_o all_o man_n not_o so_o much_o in_o hope_n of_o reward_n in_o heaven_n and_o of_o eternal_a joy_n as_o through_o a_o certain_a great_a and_o unspeakable_a love_n which_o he_o bear_v towards_o god_n the_o father_n he_o which_o believe_v as_o paul_n say_v that_o his_o body_n be_v the_o temple_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n dwell_v in_o we_o easy_o refrain_v from_o sin_n and_o pollute_v not_o himself_o with_o filthy_a lust_n final_o who_o out_o of_o doubt_n think_v that_o he_o be_v adopt_v into_o the_o fellowship_n of_o saint_n will_v not_o neglect_v to_o emulate_v the_o virtue_n of_o the_o saint_n namely_o zeal_n towards_o god_n and_o love_n towards_o man_n cap._n 20._o the_o cause_n why_o we_o proceed_v not_o in_o well_o do_v have_v purpose_v to_o live_v in_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n with_o the_o remedy_n for_o that_o infirmity_n of_o man_n but_o some_o will_v say_v what_o may_v be_v the_o cause_n why_o mind_v sometime_o to_o live_v chaste_o &_o sober_o and_o godly_a after_o the_o will_n of_o god_n we_o do_v not_o constant_o fulfil_v which_o wise_o we_o purpose_v to_o answer_v in_o few_o word_n the_o principal_a cause_n be_v the_o natural_a wickedness_n that_o be_v in_o we_o &_o the_o proneness_n which_o we_o have_v to_o sin_n which_o cleave_v to_o our_o bone_n and_o bowel_n that_o be_v to_o say_v the_o very_a flesh_n that_o we_o bear_v about_o which_o have_v a_o grievous_a and_o troublesome_a combat_n and_o a_o continual_a fight_n in_o a_o manner_n with_o the_o inner_a man_n as_o witness_v paul_n so_o that_o we_o must_v resist_v the_o same_o when_o it_o entice_v we_o unto_o lust_n and_o filthy_a pleasure_n unto_o the_o vice_n of_o the_o throat_n and_o belly_n unto_o lasciviousness_n and_o wantonness_n and_o unto_o other_o vice_n and_o unhonest_a fact_n and_o furthermore_o we_o must_v bridle_v the_o same_o by_o godly_a cogitation_n exercise_n watch_v abstinence_n and_o also_o tame_a and_o bring_v it_o under_o by_o continual_a sobriety_n and_o temperance_n this_o make_v our_o saviour_n christ_n to_o will_v we_o to_o take_v heed_n lest_o at_o any_o time_n our_o heart_n be_v
