and_o wanton_o defile_v and_o now_o reuben_n a_o incestuous_a person_n defile_v his_o own_o father_n bed_n how_o shall_v the_o religion_n of_o these_o man_n be_v good_a sure_o the_o idolatrous_a ignorance_n and_o ignorant_a idolatry_n of_o the_o gentile_n of_o the_o canaanite_n perisite_n jebusite_n or_o such_o like_a be_v the_o good_a religion_n and_o not_o the_o way_n that_o jacob_n serve_v god_n by_o be_v this_o to_o reason_n well_o or_o rather_o for_o the_o fall_v &_o fault_n of_o man_n to_o condemn_v the_o truth_n of_o god_n &_o to_o censure_v man_n by_o their_o imperfection_n not_o to_o be_v what_o they_o be_v in_o deed_n and_o truth_n though_o thus_o defile_v yet_o this_o be_v the_o common_a reason_n of_o the_o world_n and_o thus_o daily_a some_o stumble_v at_o man_n offence_n but_o let_v we_o be_v wise_a and_o learn_v by_o this_o to_o take_v a_o sure_a course_n to_o judge_v both_o of_o man_n and_o of_o religion_n jacob_n and_o his_o family_n have_v the_o true_a religion_n though_o thus_o sinful_a flesh_n offend_v sometime_o all_o be_v not_o evil_a in_o such_o degree_n though_o some_o offend_v too_o much_o bewail_v the_o fall_n we_o may_v of_o those_o that_o profess_v the_o truth_n nay_o bewail_v they_o we_o ought_v with_o a_o sigh_a hart_n but_o forsake_v truth_n for_o they_o or_o condemn_v truth_n to_o be_v no_o truth_n we_o may_v not_o we_o dare_v not_o we_o ought_v not_o let_v god_n be_v true_a &_o all_o man_n liar_n let_v truth_n be_v truth_n &_o all_o man_n sinful_a yea_o such_o great_a patriarch_n as_o these_o be_v not_o ever_o free_a though_o his_o judgement_n shall_v be_v great_a that_o give_v the_o offence_n yet_o they_o shall_v not_o be_v excuse_v that_o so_o far_o take_v the_o offence_n as_o for_o it_o to_o forsake_v the_o way_n that_o be_v even_o hitherto_o sure_o his_o grief_n be_v many_o and_o his_o cross_n great_a such_o as_o we_o do_v not_o endure_v with_o that_o patience_n that_o both_o we_o ought_v &_o he_o do_v neither_o yet_o with_o that_o comfort_n as_o by_o this_o example_n and_o other_o of_o god_n dear_a one_o we_o be_v just_o encourage_v unto_o god_n give_v friend_n and_o god_n take_v friend_n father_n and_o mother_n sister_n and_o brother_n or_o whatsoever_o and_o he_o spare_v not_o any_o when_o he_o will_v though_o he_o love_v they_o dear_o abraham_n lose_v terah_n his_o father_n and_o sara_n his_o wife_n isaac_n lose_v abraham_n &_o jacob_n now_o isaac_n beside_o other_o friend_n who_o each_o of_o they_o lose_v in_o their_o time_n this_o be_v our_o estate_n we_o hold_v these_o thing_n during_o pleasure_n and_o be_v tenante_n at_o will_n not_o otherwise_o that_o the_o text_n say_v isaac_n die_v full_a of_o day_n it_o may_v well_o teach_v we_o that_o there_o ought_v to_o be_v a_o contentment_n in_o we_o even_o with_o year_n which_o indeed_o be_v not_o in_o too_o many_o but_o we_o covet_v to_o live_v and_o still_o to_o live_v and_o ever_o to_o live_v if_o it_o be_v possible_a this_o world_n so_o please_v we_o as_o if_o we_o dream_v of_o no_o other_o these_o earthly_a pleasure_n seem_v the_o joy_n we_o wish_v and_o death_n death_n o_o how_o bitter_a be_v the_o remembrance_n of_o thou_o even_o in_o very_o old_a age_n sure_o old_a isaac_n be_v not_o thus_o and_o i_o trust_v we_o will_v note_v it_o to_o our_o good_a and_o thus_o much_o now_o of_o this_o chapter_n chap._n 36._o the_o principal_a matter_n of_o this_o chapter_n be_v the_o progeny_n and_o offspring_n of_o esau_n in_o the_o observation_n whereof_o diverse_a good_a thing_n may_v be_v note_v respect_v no_o doubt_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n when_o he_o cause_v it_o to_o be_v write_v as_o first_o it_o show_v the_o truth_n of_o god_n promise_v make_v concern_v esau_n ever_o chap._n 25._o ver_fw-la his_o dwell_n and_o give_v jacob_n room_n 6._o be_v it_o of_o favour_n or_o be_v it_o for_o other_o profitable_a respect_n in_o the_o world_n to_o he_o we_o may_v well_o note_v the_o overrule_a power_n and_o providence_n of_o the_o almighty_a for_o his_o ever_o he_o have_v they_o live_v together_o be_v both_o so_o great_a as_o the_o 7._o verse_n
