man_n gather_v a_o sure_a faith_n or_o how_o shall_v they_o have_v gather_v any_o true_a repentance_n by_o the_o hear_n of_o a_o priest_n say_v mass_n before_o they_o when_o they_o hear_v he_o speak_v never_o a_o word_n against_o they_o that_o break_v the_o law_n of_o god_n wherout_a the_o true_a knowledge_n of_o sin_v and_o repentance_n for_o the_o same_o do_v always_o spring_v sing_v he_o speak_v in_o such_o a_o language_n as_o they_o understode_v nothing_o at_o all_o and_o therefore_o it_o do_v rather_o comfort_v they_o in_o their_o sin_n then_o move_v they_o from_o they_o so_o long_o as_o it_o do_v not_o bring_v they_o true_o unto_o these_o ii_o thing_n well_o we_o have_v declare_v thus_o both_o these_o ii_o thing_n to_o weet_v first_o that_o there_o ought_v no_o mass_n to_o be_v say_v wherein_o the_o souper_n of_o the_o lord_n be_v handle_v without_o communicantes_fw-la and_o second_o that_o there_o ought_v no_o mo_z mass_n to_o be_v say_v in_o a_o church_n then_o one_o at_o one_o if_o the_o people_n may_v all_o together_o convenient_o hear_v one_o priest_n and_o so_o there_o rest_v to_o declare_v now_o whether_o it_o be_v worthy_a reprofe_n &_o punishment_n for_o a_o true_a christian_a man_n to_o be_v present_a at_o the_o souper_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o not_o to_o receyve_v the_o sacrament_n the_o word_n of_o god_n be_v doubtless_o manifest_a enough_o in_o this_o which_o to_o all_o they_o indifferent_o that_o be_v present_a at_o the_o souper_fw-fr be_v speak_v thus_o in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n christ_n take_v eat_v this_o be_v my_o body_n take_v drink_n this_o be_v my_o blood_n now_o to_o be_v present_a at_o the_o speak_v of_o these_o word_n &_o to_o geve_v no_o credence_n that_o christ_n do_v offer_v &_o present_v unto_o we_o in_o they_o together_o with_o the_o sacra_fw-la the_o very_a meat_n &_o drink_n of_o everlasting_a life_n sacra_fw-la it_o be_v a_o plain_a token_n of_o unfaythfulnesse_n and_o dysobedyence_n to_o be_v present_a at_o the_o souper_n &_o not_o to_o receive_v the_o sacra_fw-la be_v sure_o worthy_a to_o be_v reprove_v in_o a_o christian_a man_n but_o it_o be_v not_o possible_a that_o we_o shall_v believe_v this_o true_o &_o yet_o not_o be_v obedient_a unto_o the_o lord_n in_o receyve_n at_o his_o hand_n with_o all_o thankfulness_n &_o devotion_n such_o meat_n and_o drink_v as_o may_v geve_v he_o everlasting_a life_n when_o it_o be_v free_o offer_v he_o and_o therefore_o if_o not_o to_o believe_v that_o christ_n do_v offer_v we_o here_o his_o body_n and_o blood_n as_o the_o meat_n of_o everlasting_a life_n be_v worthy_a reproffe_n so_o must_v it_o also_o be_v worthy_a reproffe_n not_o to_o take_v it_o when_o it_o be_v free_o offer_v and_o if_o thou_o say_v thou_o be_v not_o at_o all_o time_n worthy_a to_o receyve_v it_o when_o thou_o be_v at_o it_o so_o do_v i_o answer_v that_o again_o that_o thou_o be_v not_o worthy_a they_o to_o be_v present_a at_o it_o neither_o for_o it_o be_v also_o worthy_a reprofe_n for_o a_o man_n to_o geve_v himself_o unto_o any_o godly_a exercise_n receyve_v to_o the_o souper_n perteyne_a they_o only_o that_o will_v receyve_v to_o the_o which_o he_o find_v himself_o not_o meet_a or_o worthy_a but_o special_o to_o be_v present_a at_o the_o exercyse_v of_o the_o godly_a souper_n for_o it_o be_v manifest_a that_o christ_n hylde_n this_o his_o holy_a souper_n with_o such_o disciple_n only_o as_o be_v worthy_a as_o it_o appear_v outward_o according_a to_o the_o which_o we_o must_v judge_v &_o as_o unto_o all_o the_o which_o he_o give_v his_o body_n and_o blood_n &_o command_v all_o that_o same_o to_o take_v &_o eat_v it_o therefore_o can_v no_o man_n be_v present_a or_o be_v mete_v to_o be_v at_o this_o godly_a exercise_n which_o know_v not_o that_o he_o may_v receyve_v the_o h._n sacra_fw-la to_o his_o salvation_n and_o so_o be_v a_o disciple_n christ_n for_o he_o that_o have_v not_o give_v himself_o so_o far_o in_o to_o the_o doctrine_n of_o christ_n that_o he_o will_v abide_v in_o the_o lord_n &_o desire_v the_o lord_n to_o abide_v in_o he_o he_o be_v not_o mete_v to_o hear_v these_o word_n speak_v unto_o he_o take_v eat_z this_o be_v my_o body_n etc._n etc._n receive_v the_o holy_a father_n will_v suffer_v no_o man_n to_o be_v present_a at_o the_o holy_a souper_n who_o they_o think_v not_o mete_v to_o receive_v wherefore_o the_o h._n father_n of_o old_a time_n have_v keep_v this_o use_n very_o strong_o &_o earnest_o that_o they_o after_z the_o common_a prayer_n &_o sermone_fw-la be_v make_v &_o before_o they_o begin_v to_o hold_v the_o h._n souê‘_n will_v put_v out_o of_o the_o christen_v congregation_n be_v assemble_v together_o in_o the_o church_n not_o only_o such_o as_o be_v yet_o learner_n of_o their_o faith_n &_o not_o christen_v who_o they_o call_v cathecumeni_fw-la and_o such_o as_o be_v possess_v with_o evel_a spirit_n &_o be_v not_o well_o by_o then selue_o or_o by_o the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n who_o they_o call_v euergumeni_fw-la with_o they_o also_o that_o do_v continue_v in_o any_o open_a crime_n or_o manifest_a ungodliness_n but_o they_o also_o which_o stand_v yet_o in_o do_v of_o the_o penance_n which_o have_v be_v lay_v upon_o they_o for_o their_o great_a offence_n wherewith_o they_o have_v offend_v the_o christen_v congregation_n open_o and_o be_v not_o yet_o reconsyle_v unto_o christ_n by_o satysfyenge_a of_o his_o faithful_a people_n who_o they_o have_v offend_v that_o they_o will_v amend_v nor_o absolve_v of_o they_o for_o the_o same_o all_o these_o they_o will_v put_v out_o of_o the_o church_n when_o they_o will_v hold_v the_o holy_a souper_fw-fr of_o the_o lord_n as_o man_n unworthye_a to_o be_v present_a at_o it_o which_o thing_n they_o do_v not_o wtout_fw-fr a_o good_a cause_n for_o seyinge_v christ_n as_o i_o have_v say_v do_v hold_v this_o his_o holy_a feast_n with_o those_o dysciple_n only_o to_o all_o the_o which_o he_o give_v his_o body_n and_o blood_n and_o all_o the_o which_o do_v rceive_v &_o eat_v the_o same_o and_o sing_v he_o have_v command_v we_o to_o do_v even_o the_o same_o thing_n in_o his_o holy_a souper_n that_o he_o do_v himself_o so_o be_v it_o doubtless_o right_n seem_v that_o we_o shall_v hold_v this_o holy_a feast_n but_o in_o the_o presence_n of_o such_o dysciple_n only_a so_o far_o forth_o as_o we_o can_v judge_v they_o by_o their_o work_n as_o be_v both_o meet_a worthy_a and_o desirous_a to_o receyve_v the_o holy_a sacrament_n for_o as_o it_o be_v very_a unmete_n &_o worthy_a great_a reprofe_n as_o holy_a chrisostome_n say_v to_o be_v call_v of_o a_o right_n gracyouse_a lord_n for_o to_o come_v unto_o a_o costly_a and_o precyous_a feast_n and_o yet_o when_o thou_o come_v unto_o it_o not_o to_o prove_v of_o the_o meat_n and_o drink_v that_o be_v set_v before_o the_o so_o must_v it_o needs_o be_v worthy_a great_a reprofe_n to_o be_v call_v of_o thy_o lord_n and_o saviour_n and_o that_o to_o the_o feastful_a eat_v of_o his_o most_o precyous_a body_n and_o blood_n and_o yet_o not_o to_o prove_v one_o of_o it_o and_o because_o of_o this_o the_o holy_a father_n have_v acknowledge_v all_o they_o to_o be_v unworthye_a also_o to_o be_v present_a at_o the_o holy_a souper_n and_o to_o behold_v the_o godly_a ministration_n thereof_o that_o be_v not_o worthy_a and_o meet_a to_o receyve_v the_o holy_a sacrament_n also_o which_o unmetenesse_n unfaithfulnesse_n and_o despise_v of_o the_o heavenly_a meat_n and_o drink_v holy_a chrisostome_n do_v sore_o speak_v against_o in_o write_v thus_o of_o it_o who_o so_o abide_v and_o stand_v present_a at_o the_o holy_a souper_fw-fr &_o do_v not_o with_o other_o receyve_v the_o sacrament_n he_o stand_v there_o stubburn_o and_o without_o all_o shame_n for_o say_v he_o as_o by_o the_o table_n of_o a_o lord_n which_o be_v but_o a_o man_n the_o servant_n shall_v not_o be_v present_a that_o have_v make_v angry_a or_o offend_v their_o master_n even_o so_o shall_v there_o be_v do_v also_o by_o the_o holy_a souper_fw-fr where_o there_o be_v bring_v forth_o the_o kill_v offer_v the_o lord_n christ_n the_o lamb_n of_o god_n therefore_o man_n do_v bid_v they_o go_v their_o way_n that_o be_v in_o sin_n now_o when_o this_o be_v do_v and_o they_o that_o know_v they_o self_n in_o sin_n do_v not_o go_v their_o way_n
