religion_n god_n have_v intend_v by_o it_o that_o be_v acceptable_a if_o this_o be_v neglect_v the_o supper_n of_o the_o lord_n be_v not_o celebrate_v worthy_o but_o unworthy_o profane_v but_o not_o time_n know_v not_o a_o syllable_n what_o it_o be_v or_o whereabouts_o they_o go_v examine_v they_o they_o can_v tell_v you_o what_o a_o sacrament_n be_v what_o the_o outward_a sign_n be_v what_o the_o grace_n thereby_o signify_v be_v what_o the_o end_n and_o use_n of_o a_o sacrament_n be_v if_o you_o ask_v they_o these_o question_n they_o understand_v you_o no_o more_o than_o if_o you_o speak_v in_o a_o unknown_a language_n or_o if_o they_o can_v answer_v you_o out_o of_o a_o catechism_n it_o be_v by_o rote_n they_o do_v not_o know_v a_o â—ot_n the_o meaning_n of_o what_o they_o institution_n of_o god_n of_o the_o two_o fault_n it_o be_v hard_a to_o say_v which_o be_v great_a and_o which_o the_o apostle_n most_o charge_v the_o corinthian_n withal_o or_o whether_o both_o arise_v from_o these_o word_n of_o the_o apostle_n be_v this_o in_o the_o general_a the_o worship_n of_o god_n be_v then_o profane_v when_o the_o ceremony_n and_o outward_a work_n thereof_o be_v perform_v but_o the_o spiritual_a inward_a service_n neglect_v bread_n and_o wine_n break_v pour_v out_o distribute_v eat_v and_o drink_v all_o these_o thing_n be_v but_o sensible_a representation_n of_o spiritivall_n good_a thing_n they_o be_v the_o shadow_n but_o the_o substance_n be_v christ_n and_o therefore_o if_o the_o heart_n dwell_v only_o upon_o these_o outward_a ceremony_n and_o christ_n be_v neglect_v the_o sacrament_n without_o all_o doubt_n be_v profane_v god_n have_v appoint_v those_o thing_n to_o help_v our_o infirmity_n thereby_o to_o ascend_v unto_o high_a matter_n
