of_o the_o world_n into_o duty_n again_o as_o if_o we_o be_v two_o contrary_a man_n one_o upon_o our_o knee_n and_o another_o on_o our_o foot_n and_o therefore_o you_o shall_v see_v man_n to_o gather_v up_o some_o affection_n some_o disposition_n before_o they_o enter_v on_o a_o duty_n and_o put_v themselves_o into_o another_o frame_n but_o lay_v they_o aside_o as_o soon_o as_o ever_o of_o keep_v up_o pray_v affection_n what_o a_o shame_n to_o have_v our_o life_n give_v our_o lip_n the_o lie_n our_o practice_n be_v a_o confutation_n of_o our_o prayer_n in_o our_o prayer_n to_o be_v warm_a in_o our_o practice_n cold_a up_o in_o duty_n down_o in_o life_n oh_o learn_v to_o live_v as_o high_a as_o duty_n thou_o never_o pray_v indeed_o till_o thy_o practice_n come_v up_o as_o high_a as_o thy_o prayer_n till_o thou_o love_v confession_n and_o be_v humble_a thou_o love_v petition_n and_o be_v thirsty_a and_o diligent_a for_o those_o thing_n thou_o beg_v till_o a_o man_n may_v read_v by_o thy_o life_n that_o thou_o be_v one_o who_o desire_v those_o thing_n which_o thou_o have_v utter_v with_o thy_o lip_n let_v this_o frame_n of_o spirit_n be_v in_o your_o eye_n to_o aim_v at_o and_o in_o your_o life_n to_o endeavour_v after_o but_o i_o be_o too_o large_a i_o intend_v this_o doctrine_n only_o for_o the_o porch_n or_o entrance_n to_o the_o rest_n to_o draw_v therefore_o up_o to_o the_o conclusion_n of_o it_o i._o if_o it_o be_v so_o that_o who_o ever_o have_v to_o do_v with_o a_o ordinance_n have_v to_o do_v with_o god_n in_o it_o he_o draw_v near_o to_o god_n let_v church_n while_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n be_v warm_a they_o have_v the_o sacrament_n every_o day_n we_o have_v a_o uncontradict_v authority_n that_o they_o have_v it_o every_o lord_n day_n and_o as_o man_n grow_v cold_a so_o the_o distance_n grow_v great_a sure_o be_v it_o not_o for_o the_o coldness_n and_o deadness_n of_o our_o heart_n it_o may_v almost_o be_v our_o daily_a bread_n at_o least_o we_o may_v enjoy_v a_o more_o frequent_a use_n of_o this_o
god_n which_o be_v worth_a ten_o thousand_o of_o our_o life_n and_o soul_n as_o the_o people_n say_v to_o david_n god_n do_v inflict_v punishment_n upon_o offender_n and_o there_o be_v no_o other_o way_n to_o preserve_v or_o make_v whole_a and_o repair_v the_o honour_n glory_n of_o god_n etc._n etc._n man_n that_o will_v not_o learn_v by_o the_o word_n must_v be_v teach_v by_o work_n if_o the_o
