sweetness_n of_o christ_n the_o fruit_n of_o his_o suffering_n the_o comfort_n of_o his_o promise_n the_o riches_n of_o his_o mercy_n many_o of_o we_o i_o fear_v i_o only_o know_v christ_n as_o we_o hear_v of_o christ_n and_o read_v of_o christ_n but_o know_v he_o not_o by_o his_o comfortable_a presence_n in_o our_o own_o soul_n and_o what_o be_v the_o cause_n of_o all_o this_o sure_o we_o have_v no_o root_n in_o ourselves_o we_o want_v that_o true_a and_o lively_a faith_n whence_o such_o knowledge_n shall_v spring_v we_o deceive_v ourselves_o flatter_v ourselves_o and_o say_v we_o believe_v in_o christ_n we_o know_v christ_n when_o as_o we_o neither_o believe_v in_o he_o nor_o know_v he_o a_o smattering_n faith_n and_o a_o smattering_n knowledge_n of_o christ_n we_o have_v but_o a_o justify_n faith_n or_o save_v knowledge_n we_o have_v none_o be_v then_o a_o justify_n faith_n the_o root_n whence_o a_o feeling_n and_o save_v knowledge_n do_v spring_n let_v this_o then_o teach_v we_o to_o use_v with_o all_o religious_a reverence_n those_o mean_n which_o the_o lord_n have_v ordain_v for_o the_o beget_n and_o increase_v of_o faith_n in_o we_o that_o we_o may_v believe_v and_o know_v and_o grow_v in_o faith_n we_o may_v grow_v also_o in_o the_o knowledge_n of_o christ_n jesus_n let_v we_o with_o reverence_n hearken_v unto_o the_o word_n preach_v and_o celebrate_v the_o trust_n in_o the_o lord_n and_o submit_v themselves_o unto_o his_o will_n for_o both_o health_n and_o sickness_n they_o be_v of_o the_o lord_n and_o both_o in_o health_n and_o in_o sickness_n we_o shall_v put_v our_o trust_n in_o the_o lord_n and_o submit_v ourselves_o unto_o his_o will_n yet_o so_o choice_n we_o be_v that_o we_o can_v be_v content_a to_o receive_v health_n from_o the_o lord_n but_o hardly_o to_o receive_v sickness_n from_o the_o lord_n and_o so_o weak_a we_o be_v even_o the_o best_a of_o we_o that_o howsoever_o we_o do_v in_o health_n yet_o in_o sickness_n we_o can_v knowledge_n of_o christ_n have_v not_o seize_v upon_o their_o soul_n and_o therefore_o they_o do_v not_o know_v the_o full_a sweetness_n of_o christ_n and_o the_o full_a worth_n of_o christ_n for_o body_n a_o allowance_n there_o be_v and_o meet_v there_o shall_v be_v that_o according_a to_o each_o man_n degree_n there_o be_v both_o costlinesse_n in_o clothing_n and_o daintiness_n in_o feed_v but_o in_o each_o degree_n there_o be_v such_o excess_n of_o decency_n as_o that_o it_o may_v be_v think_v that_o no_o degree_n consider_v what_o a_o vile_a body_n it_o be_v that_o they_o cherish_v and_o subject_a to_o all_o kind_n of_o vanity_n my_o second_o observation_n hence_o be_v that_o christ_n in_o the_o last_o day_n shall_v change_v our_o body_n not_o our_o soul_n and_o raise_v up_o our_o body_n not_o our_o soul_n for_o our_o soul_n in_o their_o very_a deliverance_n from_o the_o contagion_n of_o our_o body_n be_v purge_v and_o cleanse_v from_o every_o spot_n of_o sin_n and_o immediate_o translate_v into_o heaven_n and_o there_o abide_v till_o the_o last_o judgement_n they_o die_v not_o nor_o sleep_n nor_o wander_v up_o and_o down_o as_o some_o do_v foolish_o imagine_v spirit_n of_o man_n ascend_v upward_o when_o it_o leave_v the_o body_n and_o that_o the_o spirit_n of_o the_o beast_n descend_v downward_o to_o the_o earth_n and_o that_o the_o body_n of_o the_o beast_n sleep_v for_o ever_o in_o the_o dust_n but_o the_o body_n of_o man_n shall_v be_v raise_v up_o at_o the_o last_o day_n unto_o life_n everlasting_a in_o the_o heaven_n how_o then_o do_v the_o apostle_n say_v 15.10_o 1_o co._n 15.10_o that_o flesh_n and_o blood_n can_v inherit_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n there_o the_o meaning_n of_o the_o apostle_n be_v that_o the_o natural_a body_n as_o it_o be_v now_o subject_a to_o sin_n and_o corruption_n can_v inherit_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n until_o it_o be_v glorify_v forasmuch_o as_o none_o unclean_a thing_n enter_v into_o it_o this_o therefore_o be_v it_o that_o we_o teach_v christ_n shall_v raise_v up_o our_o vile_a body_n in_o the_o last_o day_n and_o make_v they_o like_v unto_o his_o glorious_a body_n and_o so_o possess_v we_o they_o look_v for_o a_o better_a resurrection_n whatsoever_o therefore_o trouble_n affliction_n adversity_n misery_n death_n do_v befall_v we_o or_o our_o friend_n let_v we_o comfort_v ourselves_o
