in_o punish_v man_n for_o their_o hardness_n and_o this_o cavil_v be_v further_o back_v by_o a_o proof_n for_o who_o have_v resist_v his_o will_n as_o if_o the_o caviller_n have_v say_v why_o none_o can_v resist_v god_n will_n his_o will_n be_v irresistible_a and_o it_o can_v be_v withstand_v and_o therefore_o if_o god_n first_o of_o all_o harden_v and_o then_o complain_v it_o be_v extreme_a rigour_n and_o cruelty_n so_o that_o if_o wicked_a man_n and_o reprobate_n be_v harden_v it_o be_v according_a to_o the_o will_n of_o god_n and_o so_o they_o be_v harden_v unavoidable_o and_o of_o necessity_n god_n have_v decree_v their_o harden_v and_o he_o will_v have_v it_o so_o and_o none_o can_v gainsay_v his_o will_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v no_o less_o than_o tyranny_n in_o god_n to_o blame_v and_o punish_v man_n for_o it_o and_o thus_o much_o we_o be_v to_o conceive_v of_o the_o generality_n of_o this_o 19_o verse_n first_o the_o cavil_v person_n thou_o will_v then_o say_v unto_o conclusion_n the_o cause_n be_v so_o god_n harden_v who_o he_o will_v than_o god_n have_v no_o just_a cause_n to_o complain_v of_o man_n harden_v so_o that_o hence_o arise_v this_o conclusion_n that_o man_n carnal_a reason_n doctrine_n do_v common_o gather_v and_o infer_v wrong_a conclusion_n from_o true_a ground_n of_o religion_n and_o true_a point_n of_o divinity_n and_o therefore_o from_o man_n have_v lawful_a power_n over_o the_o clay_n to_o make_v of_o the_o same_o lump_n different_a vessel_n to_o divers_a use_n so_o god_n power_n be_v far_o great_a to_o make_v out_o of_o mankind_n liberty_n and_o that_o be_v to_o satisfy_v their_o own_o cruel_a and_o bloody_a mind_n but_o now_o the_o purpose_n of_o god_n in_o deal_v with_o man_n respect_v the_o praise_n of_o his_o glory_n and_o of_o his_o mercy_n which_o two_o end_n be_v ever_o holy_a and_o good_a the_o end_n of_o tyrant_n be_v according_a to_o their_o tyranny_n but_o the_o end_n of_o the_o lord_n in_o ordain_v some_o to_o shame_n and_o some_o to_o honour_n be_v the_o glory_n of_o his_o justice_n and_o mercy_n and_o therefore_o it_o do_v not_o follow_v from_o hence_o that_o we_o make_v god_n cruel_a and_o tyrannical_a because_o we_o affirm_v that_o god_n have_v out_o of_o his_o mere_a good_a will_n and_o pleasure_n appoint_v some_o to_o shame_n and_o some_o to_o honour_n because_o the_o lord_n have_v power_n so_o to_o do_v and_o this_o shall_v teach_v we_o to_o be_v so_o far_o from_o charge_v god_n with_o tyranny_n and_o indeed_o to_o drive_v this_o further_a we_o be_v not_o suffer_v once_o such_o a_o thought_n to_o arise_v in_o our_o heart_n that_o god_n deal_v hardly_o with_o we_o in_o any_o thing_n whatsoever_o no_o not_o when_o thy_o estate_n seem_v unto_o flesh_n and_o blood_n to_o be_v most_o desperate_a nay_o we_o be_v to_o be_v far_o from_o this_o to_o think_v that_o god_n deal_v hardly_o with_o we_o nay_o when_o we_o be_v under_o the_o hand_n of_o god_n in_o some_o great_a and_o grievous_a distress_n let_v we_o then_o remember_v thus_o much_o and_o think_v with_o ourselves_o the_o lord_n have_v lawful_a authority_n to_o appoint_v man_n to_o everlasting_a destruction_n now_o which_o flow_v from_o thou_o thou_o may_v know_v it_o as_o a_o bottle_n of_o sweet_a water_n send_v forth_o a_o sweet_a savour_n so_o if_o thou_o have_v this_o heavenly_a moisture_n of_o grace_n and_o
