instructer_n and_o though_o perhaps_o by_o their_o guide_n unskilfulness_n or_o the_o corruption_n of_o the_o church_n they_o be_v member_n of_o though_o this_o last_o can_v be_v suppose_v in_o the_o church_n of_o england_n because_o it_o be_v free_a from_o all_o corruption_n in_o doctrine_n they_o may_v be_v lead_v into_o error_n yet_o since_o they_o have_v make_v use_n of_o the_o best_a mean_n god_n have_v give_v they_o he_o do_v not_o require_v impossibility_n at_o their_o hand_n and_o therefore_o will_v not_o impute_v those_o error_n to_o their_o fault_n which_o he_o have_v never_o give_v they_o power_n to_o help_v whereas_o on_o the_o contrary_a if_o every_o one_o of_o the_o common_a people_n must_v be_v leave_v whole_o to_o the_o guidance_n of_o his_o own_o reason_n they_o must_v necessary_o run_v into_o as_o many_o religion_n as_o there_o be_v man_n and_o worship_v a_o several_a deity_n not_o only_o every_o day_n of_o the_o week_n but_o every_o hour_n of_o the_o day_n and_o by_o think_v themselves_o as_o wise_a as_o their_o teacher_n come_v to_o despise_v and_o contemn_v they_o and_o to_o trample_v under_o foot_n all_o order_n and_o decency_n to_o scorn_v the_o law_n of_o their_o magistrate_n and_o in_o a_o word_n to_o run_v themselves_o into_o all_o confusion_n danger_n and_o wickedness_n this_o some_o man_n see_v well_o enough_o to_o be_v the_o natural_a consequence_n of_o this_o opinion_n and_o therefore_o they_o who_o have_v a_o mind_n to_o make_v division_n among_o we_o do_v nothing_o else_o but_o cry_v up_o conscience_n and_o every_o man_n own_o reason_n for_o if_o they_o can_v but_o thus_o separate_v the_o sheep_n from_o the_o shepherd_n they_o will_v soon_o make_v they_o stray_v so_o far_o till_o they_o get_v they_o into_o their_o own_o presumption_n how_o then_o what_o will_v become_v of_o the_o grand_a security_n our_o author_n say_v every_o man_n have_v in_o be_v guide_v by_o his_o own_o understanding_n will_v it_o not_o thence_o be_v clear_o prove_v that_o authority_n be_v a_o much_o safe_a guide_n in_o those_o thing_n than_o every_o man_n own_o reason_n and_o yet_o i_o think_v what_o i_o have_v undertake_v will_n neither_o require_v any_o extraordinary_a brain_n nor_o pain_n to_o demonstrate_v for_o be_v it_o not_o as_o visible_a as_o the_o sun_n in_o our_o assent_n to_o all_o matter_n of_o fact_n from_o the_o authority_n of_o witness_n and_o in_o our_o obedience_n to_o authority_n in_o all_o indifferent_a thing_n for_o in_o both_o these_o case_n especial_o in_o the_o latter_a he_o that_o err_v with_o authority_n may_v plead_v the_o authority_n for_o his_o excuse_n but_o he_o that_o err_v against_o it_o be_v quite_o jeft_n without_o any_o excuse_n at_o all_o for_o in_o all_o thing_n indifferent_a in_o their_o own_o nature_n i._n e._n all_o such_o thing_n which_o before_o any_o humane_a command_n concern_v they_o be_v whole_o leave_v to_o every_o man_n own_o judgement_n be_v neither_o forbid_v nor_o command_v by_o god_n if_o the_o authority_n of_o our_o governor_n do_v intervene_v and_o command_v that_o this_o indifferent_a thing_n shall_v be_v do_v though_o we_o do_v think_v it_o more_o by_o the_o law_n of_o the_o church_n and_o nation_n of_o which_o he_o be_v a_o member_n but_o now_o suppose_v we_o shall_v err_v in_o do_v any_o indifferent_a thing_n in_o obedience_n to_o our_o governor_n and_o that_o it_o have_v be_v real_o better_o that_o it_o have_v not_o be_v do_v yet_o our_o obedience_n though_o contrary_a to_o our_o own_o reason_n shall_v in_o this_o case_n excuse_v we_o whereas_o whoso_o err_v in_o follow_v his_o own_o reason_n contrary_a to_o the_o command_n of_o authority_n in_o indifferent_a thing_n be_v altogether_o leave_v without_o excuse_n either_o before_o god_n or_o man_n unless_o it_o be_v before_o this_o good-natured_a author_n who_o be_v resolve_v to_o excuse_v he_o by_o half_a a_o jury_n of_o reason_n but_o i_o may_v just_o except_v and_o therefore_o if_o our_o author_n be_v his_o master_n he_o will_v without_o doubt_n rest_n very_o well_o satisfy_v with_o he_o second_o our_o author_n next_o reason_n p._n 67._o be_v this_o because_o we_o lie_v the_o blasphemous_a accusation_n of_o injustice_n upon_o god_n if_o he_o punish_v we_o for_o a_o error_n that_o we_o can_v not_o avoid_v these_o be_v his_o word_n but_o i_o
