shall_v now_o be_v repute_v mutinous_a to_o offer_v a_o petition_n to_o the_o soldiery_n when_o it_o be_v esteem_v former_o good_a service_n to_o draw_v they_o to_o a_o engagement_n that_o notwithstanding_o all_o this_o clear_a open_a and_o legal_a deal_n in_o those_o our_o friend_n for_o the_o performance_n of_o their_o solemn_a engagement_n both_o they_o and_o we_o who_o adhere_v to_o they_o be_v reproach_v and_o slander_v with_o imputation_n of_o plot_v and_o design_v not_o only_o the_o king_n death_n in_o a_o base_a murderous_a way_n and_o of_o imbrute_v the_o nation_n in_o blood_n but_o of_o strange_a endeavour_n to_o level_v all_o man_n estate_n and_o subvert_v all_o government_n and_o although_o the_o scandal_n be_v but_o the_o same_o which_o the_o open_a enemy_n former_o cast_v upon_o yourselves_o yet_o our_o just_a endeavour_n for_o freedom_n be_v so_o ill_o resent_v by_o this_o mean_n that_o some_o of_o we_o be_v imprison_v and_o other_o threaten_v to_o be_v procee_v against_o as_o person_n disaffect_v to_o this_o honourable_a house_n whereas_o the_o true_a object_n of_o our_o enemy_n malice_n be_v that_o authorit●e_v of_o you_o which_o we_o labour_v to_o preserve_v yet_o such_o be_v our_o sad_a condition_n as_o our_o action_n and_o intention_n be_v in_o like_a manner_n misapprehended_n by_o you_o though_o we_o doubt_v not_o but_o the_o agreement_n due_o weigh_v will_v demonstrate_v all_o such_o reproach_n to_o be_v only_o the_o invention_n of_o wicked_a man_n to_o exasperate_v you_o against_o we_o and_o therefore_o we_o beseech_v you_o in_o your_o bowel_n of_o compassion_n to_o a_o oppress_a people_n to_o review_v and_o debate_v impartial_o the_o particular_n of_o that_o agreement_n of_o the_o people_n wherein_o many_o arbitrarynesse_n and_o tyranny_n of_o this_o your_o parliament_n who_o have_v invite_v you_o and_o cause_v your_o dear_a friend_n to_o expend_v their_o blood_n upon_o pretence_n to_o deliver_v you_o against_o thing_n establish_v by_o law_n and_o now_o when_o a_o petition_n strike_v at_o their_o corrupt_a interest_n its_o seditious_a because_o it_o against_o a_o vote_n of_o they_o and_o what_o damnable_a endeavour_n here_o be_v to_o deceive_v you_o commons_o they_o represent_v these_o man_n petition_n as_o a_o contempt_n of_o they_o when_o they_o render_v they_o the_o high_a honour_n in_o their_o petition_n 2_o observe_v their_o injustice_n in_o commit_v these_o your_o brethren_n without_o lay_v any_o crime_n to_o their_o charge_n by_o the_o law_n sedition_n nor_o faction_n be_v no_o crime_n for_o no_o man_n know_v what_o be_v sedition_n or_o faction_n but_o they_o put_v unknown_a reproachful_a term_n upon_o their_o just_a petition_n to_o deceive_v you_o and_o let_v i_o inform_v you_o that_o these_o treacherous_a dissembler_n that_o put_v these_o infamous_a term_n upon_o the_o petition_n dare_v not_o suffer_v this_o petition_n to_o be_v print_v with_o their_o vote_n concern_v it_o for_o when_o they_o order_v the_o vote_n shall_v be_v print_v a_o honest_a member_n move_v that_o the_o pe●ition_n itself_o may_v be_v print_v with_o they_o that_o the_o people_n may_v see_v the_o reason_n of_o such_o vote_n and_o these_o hypocrite_n oppose_v it_o with_o rage_n and_o fury_n will_v you_o be_v always_o thus_o abuse_v o_o you_o commmon_n 3._o observe_v the_o falsehood_n and_o lie_v in_o their_o vote_n first_o these_o petitioner_n do_v not_o avow_v any_o former_a petition_n or_o paper_n annex_v as_o this_o vote_n say_v they_o do_v 2_o the_o house_n do_v never_o adjudge_v the_o agreement_n to_o be_v destructive_a to_o the_o be_v of_o parliament_n etc._n etc._n but_o only_o the_o petition_n of_o the_o agent_n of_o the_o army_n they_o never_o dare_v debate_v the_o agreement_n lest_o they_o shall_v be_v force_v by_o the_o strength_n of_o reason_n to_o consent_v to_o it_o they_o shut_v their_o eye_n and_o will_v not_o see_v for_o many_o of_o the_o great_a opposer_n have_v confess_v its_o just_a but_o they_o love_v not_o the_o light_n because_o their_o deed_n be_v evil_a but_o see_v it_o be_v never_o debate_v in_o one_o particular_a can_v a_o judgement_n be_v pass_v upon_o it_o and_o have_v you_o not_o a_o wise_a faithful_a parliament_n that_o will_v not_o debate_v the_o particular_n of_o such_o great_a concernment_n to_o settle_v a_o peace_n 4._o observe_v how_o these_o man_n exercise_v a_o absolute_a tyranny_n over_o you_o rule_v by_o their_o crooked_a will_n and_o damnable_a lust_n they_o commit_v your_o fellow_n commoner_n to_o prison_n among_o thief_n and_o murderer_n only_o for_o beg_v for_o their_o fredom_n and_o this_o during_o their_o pleasure_n that_o be_v till_o their_o base_a malicious_a humour_n be_v satisfy_v according_a to_o law_n and_o justice_n imprisonment_n be_v only_o for_o safe_a custody_n of_o person_n until_o the_o appoint_a day_n of_o trial_n in_o the_o ordinary_a court_n of_o justice_n and_o it_o be_v the_o council_n table_n and_o high_a commission_n that_o rule_v by_o their_o lust_n which_o imprison_a man_n during_o their_o pleasure_n and_o yet_o these_o apostate_n dare_v in_o the_o face_n of_o the_o sun_n proclaim_v their_o wickedness_n and_o arbitrariness_n by_o commit_v man_n during_o their_o lust_n certain_o their_o conscience_n tell_v they_o that_o these_o faithful_a honest_a petitioner_n do_v not_o offend_v for_o if_o they_o have_v know_v any_o offence_n they_o will_v have_v be_v ready_a to_o have_v proceed_v against_o they_o or_o reserve_v they_o for_o trial_n which_o they_o intend_v not_o o_o you_o commons_o of_o england_n can_v you_o still_o bear_v it_o to_o see_v your_o freedom_n undermine_v and_o your_o brethren_n abuse_v and_o precedent_n make_v
