return_v fruit_n when_o demand_v of_o his_o vineyard_n he_o pull_v down_o the_o wall_n thereof_o and_o it_o be_v tread_v down_o for_o kill_v the_o heir_n he_o miserable_o destroy_v the_o husbandman_n because_o jerusalem_n will_v not_o be_v gather_v together_o under_o the_o obedience_n of_o the_o gospel_n he_o cause_v their_o house_n to_o be_v leave_v unto_o they_o desolate_a and_o sure_o it_o can_v be_v suppose_v unlawful_a if_o it_o be_v lone_a by_o christian_a ruler_n upon_o open_a and_o obstinate_a transgressor_n which_o be_v evident_o do_v by_o christ_n himself_o and_o for_o the_o apostle_n though_o they_o be_v not_o king_n yet_o they_o have_v authority_n to_o censure_v and_o punish_v those_o that_o be_v obstinate_o disobedient_a and_o they_o do_v exercise_v their_o power_n wherewith_o they_o be_v entrust_v to_o this_o end_n when_o their_o excommunication_n be_v oft_o attend_v with_o temporal_a penalty_n to_o the_o destruction_n of_o the_o flesh_n sometime_o that_o the_o soul_n may_v be_v save_v and_o who_o dare_v say_v it_o be_v unjust_a for_o ruler_n appoint_v by_o god_n to_o do_v the_o like_a thing_n for_o the_o same_o reason_n and_o end_v which_o the_o extraordinary_a spirit_n of_o christ_n give_v to_o the_o apostle_n effect_v one_o thing_n yet_o remain_v to_o prove_v viz._n that_o this_o be_v do_v upon_o omission_n or_o recusancy_n of_o obedience_n to_o the_o gospel_n and_o questionless_a so_o it_o be_v for_o christ_n because_o the_o jew_n will_v not_o know_v the_o time_n of_o his_o visitation_n in_o mercy_n visit_v they_o with_o judgement_n they_o reject_v he_o and_o his_o counsel_n will_v not_o receive_v the_o gospel_n and_o therefore_o he_o order_v and_o bring_v destruction_n upon_o they_o and_o thus_o be_v it_o do_v by_o the_o apostle_n also_o who_o for_o open_a sin_n and_o disobedience_n to_o gospel_n rule_n come_v not_o always_o with_o spirit_n of_o meekness_n but_o sometime_o with_o a_o rod._n the_o obstinate_a offender_n be_v order_v to_o be_v correct_v that_o he_o may_v be_v ashamed_a sometime_o he_o be_v take_v away_o from_o the_o society_n of_o the_o faithful_a and_o deliver_v to_o satan_n for_o the_o destruction_n of_o the_o flesh_n and_o why_o shall_v it_o seem_v unjust_a for_o our_o magistrate_n to_o order_v the_o like_a thing_n when_o by_o the_o rule_n of_o the_o gospel_n by_o the_o practice_n of_o christ_n and_o his_o apostle_n punishment_n may_v
