christ_n be_v come_v and_o have_v suffer_v and_o conquer_v in_o and_o by_o his_o suffering_n he_o put_v a_o end_n to_o that_o ministration_n and_o repeal_v priesthood-government_n and_o that_o whole_a ministration_n so_o that_o whoever_o plead_v magistrate_n authority_n in_o eccclesiastical_a cause_n from_o the_o jewish_a constitution_n do_v consequent_o deny_v christ_n to_o be_v come_v in_o the_o flesh_n and_o take_v his_o government_n from_o he_o so_o that_o we_o right_o understand_v the_o government_n of_o the_o old_a testament-magistrate_n shall_v right_o be_v inform_v to_o who_o the_o right_a of_o rule_n in_o divine_a thing_n and_o ecclesiastical_a concernment_n do_v now_o belong_v namely_o to_o christ_n into_o who_o the_o magisterial_a power_n of_o the_o old_a testament_n be_v that_o from_o the_o reason_n already_o mind_v and_o further_o i_o may_v true_o say_v that_o as_o man_n be_v a_o reasonable_a creature_n so_o god_n way_n of_o work_v to_o divine_a undertake_n be_v by_o the_o illuminate_n of_o his_o understanding_n through_o his_o word_n and_o spirit_n that_o so_o he_o may_v be_v able_a to_o give_v a_o reason_n of_o his_o hope_n and_o serve_v in_o divine_a thing_n in_o the_o liberty_n of_o the_o gospel_n not_o have_v his_o understanding_n captivate_v to_o the_o will_n of_o another_o q._n whence_o shall_v arise_v this_o great_a mistake_n as_o doubtless_o if_o it_o be_v a_o mistake_n it_o be_v a_o great_a and_o dangerous_a one_o a._n ignorance_n and_o pride_n usher_v in_o this_o mistake_n and_o that_o be_v it_o which_o still_o endeavour_v to_o keep_v it_o on_o foot_n 1._o ignorance_n this_o ordinary_o be_v the_o mother_n of_o all_o sin_n and_o lie_v at_o the_o bottom_n of_o all_o mischief_n christ_n be_v put_v to_o death_n through_o ignorance_n 1_o cor._n 2._o 8._o and_o it_o be_v through_o ignorance_n man_n put_v he_o to_o death_n in_o his_o authority_n and_o put_v to_o death_n those_o that_o own_v he_o in_o his_o authority_n john_n 16._o 2_o 3._o it_o be_v say_v christ_n because_o they_o have_v not_o know_v the_o father_n nor_o i_o 2._o pride_n flow_v from_o ignorance_n and_o a_o desire_n of_o self-exaltation_n pride_n of_o magistrate_n and_o pride_n of_o minister_n accompany_v sometime_o with_o mistake_a zeal_n and_o sometime_o with_o enmity_n and_o desire_v of_o revenge_n on_o those_o who_o submit_v not_o to_o their_o will_n witness_v the_o truth_n of_o this_o that_o person_n or_o people_n whoever_o that_o conclude_v it_o the_o magistrate_n duty_n to_o compel_v to_o religion_n think_v withal_o its_o meet_a they_o shall_v be_v uppermost_a to_o be_v prescribe_v law_n for_o other_o this_o proclaim_v it_o to_o be_v a_o proud_a selfish_a principle_n man_n while_o under_o will_v not_o like_v it_o but_o when_o over_o will_v exercise_v it_o this_o be_v pride_n and_o a_o desire_n of_o domination_n for_o all_o sort_n of_o people_n in_o the_o world_n dislike_v with_o and_o complain_v of_o a_o coercive_a power_n in_o matter_n spiritual_a and_o divine_a unless_o it_o be_v when_o themselves_o have_v the_o roll_a power_n and_o be_v get_v uppermost_o protestant_n complain_v or_o papist_n and_o papist_n of_o protestant_n where_o they_o be_v under_o and_o nonconformist_n of_o both_o but_o he_o that_o be_v uppermost_o will_v rule_v q._n but_o what_o be_v the_o evil_a and_o
