establish_v and_o command_v his_o follower_n to_o do_v so_o that_o after_o his_o death_n the_o apostle_n likewise_o do_v so_o and_o command_v likewise_o all_o their_o follower_n and_o successor_n to_o do_v the_o same_o to_o submit_v to_o the_o temporal_a power_n as_o the_o ordinance_n of_o god_n it_o be_v plain_a that_o our_o saviour_n by_o establish_v a_o church_n intend_v the_o establishment_n of_o such_o thing_n only_o as_o may_v well_o consist_v with_o the_o safety_n and_o the_o essential_o of_o government_n from_o hence_o it_o follow_v that_o none_o have_v receive_v any_o power_n or_o commission_n from_o christ_n to_o preach_v the_o gospel_n or_o to_o preside_v over_o the_o church_n in_o any_o country_n but_o with_o this_o supposition_n and_o on_o this_o condition_n that_o he_o own_o and_o submit_v to_o the_o temporal_a government_n which_o god_n have_v ordain_v in_o that_o country_n it_o be_v i_o say_v with_o this_o supposition_n that_o he_o give_v his_o bishop_n and_o his_o minister_n a_o commission_n to_o preside_v over_o the_o church_n and_o to_o preach_v his_o gospel_n in_o such_o or_o such_o a_o country_n it_o be_v upon_o the_o same_o condition_n that_o the_o church_n appoint_v they_o to_o preside_v or_o preach_v in_o that_o place_n and_o it_o be_v upon_o the_o same_o condition_n that_o they_o be_v receive_v allow_v off_o and_o protect_v by_o the_o state_n if_o therefore_o they_o fail_v of_o the_o performance_n of_o that_o necessary_a condition_n their_o commission_n then_o cease_v as_o to_o that_o particular_a government_n which_o they_o can_v or_o will_v not_o submit_v to_o they_o become_v deprivable_a by_o the_o state_n and_o the_o church_n be_v to_o
