power_n from_o they_o than_o there_o shall_v be_v no_o power_n in_o the_o hand_n of_o any_o for_o what_o kind_n of_o man_n be_v there_o to_o be_v find_v who_o be_v not_o in_o danger_n to_o abuse_v church_n officer_n minister_n and_o elder_n second_o some_o give_v only_o the_o power_n and_o authority_n to_o govern_v to_o the_o church_n member_n but_o for_o the_o exercise_n of_o that_o power_n they_o allow_v it_o to_o the_o elder_n yet_o so_o as_o to_o the_o people_n depute_n to_o who_o they_o must_v give_v a_o account_n other_o give_v the_o people_n not_o only_o the_o power_n and_o authority_n but_o also_o the_o exercise_n of_o this_o government_n so_o that_o the_o people_n may_v sit_v down_o in_o church_n judicatory_n themselves_o enact_v church_n canon_n inflict_v church_n according_a to_o the_o word_n or_o not_o we_o grant_v these_o privilege_n to_o the_o people_n but_o none_o of_o they_o do_v

we_o have_v what_o he_o see_v when_o he_o come_v he_o see_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n to_o wit_n the_o wonderful_a effect_n of_o god_n grace_n in_o bring_v so_o many_o to_o embrace_v the_o doctrine_n side_n and_o great_a personage_n in_o they_o behoove_v to_o wait_v upon_o their_o grandeur_n it_o never_o be_v well_o with_o the_o church_n of_o god_n since_o churchman_n begin_v to_o overtop_v peer_n and_o noble_n but_o the_o thing_n i_o mark_v from_o this_o be_v that_o barnabas_n though_o a_o extraordinary_a office-bearer_n in_o the_o church_n and_o a_o apostle_n do_v nevertheless_o obey_v the_o constitute_v and_o church_n judicatories_n erect_v to_o manage_v the_o discipline_n of_o the_o church_n the_o apostle_n do_v not_o exercise_v power_n of_o jurisdiction_n over_o these_o church_n by_o themselves_o alone_o neither_o in_o the_o ordination_n of_o minister_n nor_o in_o the_o censure_v or_o excommunicate_v of_o scandalous_a offender_n but_o though_o they_o be_v without_o doubt_n universal_a pastor_n of_o the_o whole_a church_n yet_o they_o do_v remit_v the_o same_o to_o ordinary_a church_n judicatories_n thus_o paul_n do_v not_o ordain_v timothy_n to_o be_v a_o minister_n alone_o but_o admit_v the_o ordinary_a presbytery_n to_o do_v it_o 1_o tim._n 4._o 14._o neglect_v not_o the_o gift_n that_o be_v in_o thou_o which_o be_v give_v thou_o by_o prophesy_v with_o the_o
