his_o law_n and_o be_v not_o the_o ecclesiastical_a law_n by_o the_o way_n the_o king_n law_n and_o have_v not_o they_o the_o impress_n of_o regal_a sanction_n and_o the_o stamp_n of_o royal_a authority_n set_v upon_o they_o as_o well_o as_o the_o civil_a what_o plea_n then_o or_o excuse_v can_v man_n have_v for_o not_o keep_v and_o observe_v of_o they_o especial_o when_o they_o pretend_v to_o be_v so_o good_a christian_n to_o fear_n god_n and_o keep_v his_o commandment_n if_o man_n conscience_n be_v mislead_v and_o mistake_v which_o be_v the_o best_a can_v be_v imagine_v yet_o god_n and_o the_o king_n must_v not_o loose_a their_o right_n a_o erroneous_a conscience_n can_v cancel_v the_o bond_n of_o obedience_n nor_o excuse_v any_o from_o do_v his_o duty_n indeed_o it_o may_v so_o ensnare_v and_o entangle_v he_o that_o durante_fw-la illâ_fw-la conscientiâ_fw-la he_o can_v proceed_v one_o way_n or_o other_o without_o sin_n but_o still_o datur_fw-la exitus_fw-la for_o nemo_fw-la angustiatur_fw-la ad_fw-la peccandum_fw-la say_v the_o school_n still_o there_o be_v a_o way_n leave_v to_o get_v out_o and_o to_o extricate_v himself_o and_o that_o be_v deponere_fw-la errorem_fw-la conscientiae_fw-la to_o rectify_v his_o conscience_n to_o quit_v and_o forsake_v his_o error_n which_o he_o may_v do_v by_o give_v all_o moral_a diligence_n and_o use_v all_o good_a mean_n for_o his_o better_a information_n and_o if_o he_o will_v do_v that_o let_v he_o not_o lean_a too_o much_o to_o his_o own_o understanding_n but_o rather_o distrust_v his_o own_o judgement_n 5._o than_o the_o judgement_n of_o so_o many_o wise_a grave_a learned_a and_o godly_a man_n his_o superior_n in_o church_n and_o state_n the_o king_n and_o those_o that_o be_v in_o authority_n under_o he_o and_o then_o let_v he_o in_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n due_o and_o impartial_o weigh_v and_o examine_v the_o ground_n and_o reason_n of_o his_o dissent_n and_o disobedience_n not_o think_v it_o sufficient_a that_o he_o have_v meet_v with_o some_o little_a umbrage_n and_o shadow_n of_o offence_n in_o general_n take_v at_o the_o king_n be_v ecclesiastical_a law_n the_o order_n and_o ceremony_n and_o liturgy_n of_o the_o church_n but_o let_v he_o come_v to_o particular_n and_o then_o serious_o consider_v and_o ask_v his_o own_o heart_n whether_o indeed_o he_o be_v able_a to_o prove_v by_o scripture_n or_o reason_n any_o one_o thing_n enjoin_v to_o be_v unlawful_a and_o repugnant_a to_o the_o word_n of_o god_n for_o till_o that_o be_v do_v it_o be_v in_o vain_a for_o any_o to_o plead_v or_o pretend_v tenderness_n of_o conscience_n for_o their_o contempt_n and_o disobedience_n and_o then_o let_v he_o ask_v himself_o but_o one_o question_n more_o viz._n how_o far_o he_o think_v some_o few_o needless_a nicety_n doubt_n and_o scruple_n about_o thing_n indifferent_a will_v bear_v he_o out_o and_o excuse_v he_o another_o day_n for_o his_o
