after_o george_n keith_n rise_v up_o and_o expound_v some_o scripture_n in_o another_o manner_n than_o mr_n penn_n have_v do_v that_o mr._n penn_n stop_v he_o and_o solemn_o denounce_v these_o word_n against_o he_o in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n i_o pronounce_v he_o a_o apostate_n over_o his_o head_n upon_o which_o occasion_n i_o have_v these_o few_o question_n to_o ask_v 1._o whether_o this_o be_v a_o sentence_n from_o mr._n penn_n himself_o or_o from_o their_o church_n if_o the_o latter_a it_o come_v in_o the_o class_n just_o beforementioned_a of_o their_o church-authority_n over_o the_o light_n within_o particular_a person_n but_o if_o the_o former_a then_o here_o be_v private_a light_n against_o private_a light_n and_o mr._n penn_n will_v please_v to_o tell_v we_o by_o what_o authority_n he_o pronounce_v this_o sentence_n against_o g._n keith_n in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n if_o by_o a_o ordinary_a commission_n of_o succession_n to_o christ_n and_o the_o apostle_n by_o regular_a ordination_n that_o i_o shall_v be_v glad_a to_o hear_v but_o if_o by_o a_o extraordinary_a commission_n such_o as_o the_o prophet_n and_o apostle_n have_v we_o will_v desire_v such_o credential_n as_o they_o have_v that_o be_v miracle_n otherwise_o any_o reason_n why_o this_o be_v not_o rank_a enthusiasm_n and_o liable_a to_o the_o sentence_n of_o those_o who_o speak_v in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n when_o he_o have_v not_o send_v they_o mr._n penn_n own_v the_o enthusiasm_n but_o do_v not_o show_v the_o miracle_n for_o he_o say_v public_o in_o their_o last_o yearly_o meet_v in_o may_n 1695._o in_o excuse_n or_o justification_n of_o his_o abovesaid_a sentence_n of_o apostasy_n against_o g._n keith_n that_o he_o be_v then_o so_o transport_v with_o the_o from_o all_o sin_n in_o this_o manner_n that_o the_o blood_n be_v the_o life_n and_o the_o life_n be_v the_o light_n within_o this_o resolve_v all_o into_o the_o light_n within_o which_o as_o will_v be_v further_o show_v they_o make_v to_o be_v the_o architype_n and_o substance_n of_o what_o christ_n outward_a body_n blood_n and_o all_o that_o he_o do_v or_o suffer_v in_o it_o be_v but_o the_o from_o what_o mr._n penn_n have_v do_v but_o without_o name_v of_o mr._n penn_n say_a that_o it_o ought_v to_o be_v take_v literal_o that_o it_o be_v the_o outward_a shed_n of_o christ_n blood_n which_o cleanse_v from_o sin_n and_o that_o this_o be_v not_o to_o be_v resolve_v into_o the_o light_n within_o nor_o to_o be_v spiritualise_v away_o from_o the_o letter_n for_o that_o this_o be_v overthrow_v of_o the_o faith_n upon_o which_o mr._n penn_n rise_v up_o and_o interrupt_v he_o in_o the_o middle_n of_o his_o discourse_n which_o i_o be_o tell_v be_v contrary_n to_o the_o method_n prophet_n and_o yet_o false_a and_o from_o these_o supposition_n he_o go_v on_o and_o conclude_v that_o some_o part_n of_o the_o scripture_n concern_v the_o redemption_n and_o salvation_n of_o mankind_n be_v true_a and_o p._n 18._o that_o the_o scripture_n as_o above_o distinguish_v be_v a_o true_a record_n etc._n etc._n instead_o of_o answer_v these_o diabolical_a suggestion_n against_o the_o sacred_a authority_n of_o the_o holy_a scripture_n of_o god_n and_o which_o evident_o overthrow_v the_o certainty_n of_o the_o whole_a g._n whitehead_n in_o his_o innocency_n triumphant_a print_v 1693._o in_o answer_n to_o f._n bugg's_o new_a rome_n arraign_v p._n 28._o do_v own_o the_o whole_a by_o way_n of_o a_o excuse_n for_o it_o and_o say_v that_o this_o question_v but_o of_o some_o word_n in_o scripture_n not_o all_o but_o the_o holy_a scripture_n confirm_v the_o whole_a of_o themselves_o one_o part_n quote_v another_o if_o the_o whole_a be_v not_o therefore_o true_a the_o wicked_a and_o contemptible_a name_n of_o dust_n death_n serpent_n meat_n etc._n etc._n whitehead_n say_v that_o be_v only_o in_o opposition_n to_o those_o who_o will_v have_v the_o very_a
