will_v not_o have_v his_o people_n to_o name_n baalim_n because_o he_o will_v not_o have_v they_o so_o much_o as_o remember_v but_o lest_o it_o may_v be_v object_v that_o these_o idolatrous_a name_n lawful_a course_n but_o may_v they_o join_v themselves_o to_o such_o church_n as_o be_v separation_n ceremonial_a imperfection_n of_o the_o church_n must_v not_o cause_v a_o separation_n spot_v with_o pitch_n and_o wasteful_o spend_v in_o pride_n pleasure_n and_o belly-cheer_n above_o their_o mean_n then_o must_v they_o of_o necessity_n fall_v to_o plot_v and_o devise_v how_o they_o may_v have_v extraordinary_a supply_n by_o wicked_a and_o unlawful_a mean_n when_o as_o those_o which_o be_v honest_a and_o approvable_a fail_v they_o then_o they_o begin_v to_o covet_v other_o man_n good_n and_o to_o plot_n mean_v how_o they_o may_v compass_v they_o then_o they_o fall_v to_o steal_v purloin_v bribe_v oppress_a cozen_a deceive_a and_o what_o not_o that_o they_o may_v enrich_v themselves_o &_o maintain_v their_o excess_n and_o pleasure_n thus_o magistrate_n consume_v their_o people_n with_o tribute_n and_o taxation_n that_o hereby_o they_o may_v maintain_v their_o excess_n and_o wasteful_a expense_n thus_o minister_n heap_v live_v upon_o live_v because_o they_o can_v be_v content_a to_o live_v frugal_o within_o their_o compass_n but_o must_v maintain_v a_o port_n and_o state_n above_o their_o lawful_a mean_n that_o by_o their_o profuse_a hospitality_n they_o may_v advance_v their_o credit_n and_o so_o rush_v into_o forbid_a pasture_n be_v not_o content_a to_o feed_v in_o the_o circuit_n of_o their_o own_o tether_n so_o gentleman_n that_o they_o may_v maintain_v themselves_o their_o wife_n and_o child_n in_o excessive_a
cause_n hereof_o be_v the_o corruption_n of_o man_n nature_n which_o be_v exceed_o addict_v to_o this_o idolatry_n and_o superstition_n partly_o through_o grossness_n of_o understanding_n affect_v a_o palpable_a deity_n and_o divine_a worship_n which_o be_v subject_a to_o the_o sense_n and_o partly_o through_o pride_n prefer_v his_o own_o invention_n and_o will-worship_n before_o the_o will_n of_o god_n reveal_v in_o his_o word_n the_o use_n hereof_o be_v that_o we_o do_v not_o only_o flee_v from_o idolatry_n idolatry_n we_o must_v fly_v the_o first_o beginning_n of_o idolatry_n in_o the_o
