their_o word_n and_o writing_n and_o by_o their_o reject_a disputation_n which_o we_o here_o omit_v for_o brevity_n sake_n because_o they_o so_o differ_v among_o themselves_o from_o our_o determination_n and_o whereas_o our_o aforesaid_a predecessor_n to_o who_o the_o determination_n of_o the_o abovementioned_a question_n do_v belong_v have_v prepare_v himself_o in_o his_o public_a consistory_n as_o well_o before_o his_o brethren_n the_o cardinal_n of_o the_o holy_a roman_a church_n of_o who_o member_n we_o ourselves_o then_o be_v as_o before_o the_o prelate_n and_o doctor_n in_o divinity_n many_o of_o they_o be_v present_a strict_o charge_v and_o command_v they_o that_o each_o one_o shall_v deliberate_o deliver_v his_o opinion_n concerning_o the_o matter_n of_o the_o aforesaid_a vision_n when_o he_o shall_v require_v it_o from_o they_o but_o be_v prevent_v by_o death_n as_o it_o please_v god_n he_o can_v not_o effect_v it_o 2._o we_o therefore_o after_o the_o death_n of_o our_o aforesaid_a predecessor_n be_v assume_v to_o sit_v in_o the_o apostolical_a seat_n more_o serious_o consider_v how_o great_a danger_n of_o soul_n may_v be_v incur_v and_o how_o many_o scandal_n may_v arise_v if_o the_o aforesaid_a contention_n be_v leave_v unresolved_a to_o the_o end_n that_o the_o diversity_n of_o opinion_n may_v perish_v and_o the_o solidity_n of_o truth_n may_v plain_o appear_v have_v first_o make_v use_n of_o a_o careful_a examination_n of_o the_o matter_n aforesaid_a and_o have_v diligent_o deliberate_v with_o our_o brethren_n the_o cardinal_n of_o the_o say_a roman_a church_n do_v with_o the_o advice_n of_o those_o our_o brethren_n by_o the_o apostolical_a authority_n define_v by_o this_o constitution_n to_o be_v valid_a for_o ever_o 3._o that_o according_a to_o the_o common_a ordination_n of_o god_n the_o soul_n of_o all_o the_o saint_n which_o depart_v out_o of_o this_o world_n before_o the_o passion_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n the_o ascension_n of_o our_o lord_n and_o saviour_n jesus_n into_o heaven_n be_v be_v and_o shall_v be_v in_o heaven_n in_o the_o heavenly_a kingdom_n in_o the_o celestial_a paradise_n with_o christ_n aggregate_a to_o the_o fellowship_n of_o the_o holy_a angel_n and_o since_o the_o passion_n and_o death_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n they_o have_v see_v and_o do_v see_v the_o divine_a essence_n by_o a_o intuitive_a vision_n and_o even_o face_n to_o face_n without_o the_o mediation_n of_o any_o creature_n interpose_v itself_o by_o way_n of_o a_o visible_a object_n but_o the_o divine_a essence_n show_v itself_o immediate_o unto_o they_o naked_o clear_o and_o open_o and_o that_o they_o thus_o see_v the_o divine_a essence_n do_v enjoy_v the_o same_o moreover_o that_o by_o such_o a_o vision_n and_o fruition_n the_o soul_n of_o they_o who_o be_v already_o depart_v out_o of_o this_o life_n be_v true_o bless_v and_o have_v eternal_a life_n and_o rest_n and_o so_o shall_v their_o soul_n be_v which_o shall_v hereafter_o depart_v this_o life_n when_o they_o shall_v see_v the_o same_o divine_a essence_n and_o enjoy_v it_o before_o the_o general_a judgement_n and_o that_o this_o vision_n and_o fruition_n of_o the_o divine_a essence_n do_v evacuate_v in_o they_o and_o cause_n to_o cease_v the_o act_n of_o faith_n and_o hope_n as_o faith_n and_o hope_n be_v proper_o theological_a virtue_n and_o that_o after_o such_o a_o intuitive_a and_o facial_a vision_n and_o fruition_n shall_v be_v begin_v in_o they_o the_o same_o vision_n and_o fruition_n without_o any_o interruption_n evacuation_n or_o cessation_n have_v remain_v continue_v and_o shall_v be_v continue_v even_o to_o the_o final_a judgement_n and_o afterwards_o even_o to_o all_o eternity_n 4._o moreover_o we_o define_v that_o according_a to_o god_n common_a ordination_n the_o soul_n of_o such_o as_o die_v in_o actual_a deadly_a sin_n descend_v present_o into_o hell_n after_o their_o death_n where_o they_o be_v torment_v with_o infernal_a punishment_n and_o that_o nevertheless_o in_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n all_o man_n shall_v appear_v before_o the_o tribunal_n of_o christ_n with_o
