to_o run_v the_o certain_a hazzard_n of_o ruine_v the_o peace_n of_o the_o church_n and_o nation_n and_o certain_a damnation_n by_o their_o disobedience_n to_o the_o command_n of_o god_n i_o desire_v to_o make_v this_o as_o clear_a as_o i_o can_v and_o therefore_o we_o will_v instance_n in_o the_o sign_n of_o the_o cross_n after_o baptism_n this_o ceremony_n be_v by_o many_o so_o much_o abhor_v that_o they_o will_v rather_o not_o have_v their_o child_n receive_v into_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n by_o baptism_n or_o which_o be_v the_o same_o thing_n have_v the_o sacrament_n from_o those_o be_v make_v by_o the_o council_n necessary_a but_o suppose_v that_o there_o be_v a_o real_a clog_n of_o ceremony_n which_o none_o can_v just_o complain_v of_o among_o we_o yet_o will_v any_o man_n loose_v the_o substance_n for_o fear_n of_o the_o shadow_n refuse_v to_o eat_v good_a and_o wholesome_a diet_n because_o the_o dish_n be_v silver_n and_o too_o much_o garnish_v and_o by_o schism_n and_o disobedience_n run_v the_o hazard_n of_o his_o own_o soul_n and_o all_o those_o seduce_v by_o he_o mere_o to_o avoid_v the_o do_n of_o those_o thing_n which_o if_o he_o do_v they_o not_o in_o the_o least_o prejudice_n his_o salvation_n for_o these_o be_v only_o the_o condition_n of_o our_o maintain_v peace_n unity_n and_o charity_n but_o not_o the_o condition_n upon_o which_o our_o salvation_n depend_v because_o god_n have_v no_o where_o say_v he_o that_o do_v these_o thing_n shall_v be_v damn_v and_o he_o that_o abstain_v from_o they_o shall_v be_v save_v but_o he_o have_v say_v we_o must_v hear_v the_o church_n and_o if_o she_o command_v this_o for_o peace_n sake_n we_o must_v obey_v lest_o we_o be_v just_o esteem_v as_o publican_n and_o heathen_n beside_o they_o who_o command_n must_v answer_v to_o god_n for_o themselves_o and_o they_o who_o be_v to_o obey_v shall_v not_o answer_v for_o the_o error_n of_o their_o superior_n but_o no_o man_n can_v answer_v to_o god_n for_o his_o disobedience_n against_o they_o in_o these_o command_n not_o only_o because_o they_o be_v not_o judge_n whether_o they_o ought_v to_o do_v or_o not_o to_o do_v what_o they_o be_v therefore_o send_v for_o the_o presbyter_n who_o reside_v in_o that_o city_n by_o virtue_n of_o his_o apostolical_a authority_n and_o there_o declare_v unto_o they_o that_o for_o the_o time_n to_o come_v they_o be_v to_o take_v that_o care_n of_o the_o church_n which_o he_o have_v do_v and_o that_o they_o may_v not_o do_v this_o of_o their_o own_o head_n or_o fear_v to_o do_v it_o for_o want_n where_o the_o literal_a sense_n of_o scripture_n be_v plain_a we_o be_v to_o follow_v that_o and_o that_o this_o be_v the_o plain_a historical_a and_o literal_a meaning_n of_o the_o word_n without_o the_o least_o wrest_v or_o violence_n offer_v to_o they_o be_v most_o obvious_a and_o that_o by_o this_o power_n of_o episcopacy_n which_o the_o holy_a ghost_n add_v to_o their_o former_a of_o presbytery_n they_o be_v to_o take_v the_o care_n of_o the_o government_n of_o the_o church_n as_o well_o in_o rule_v as_o instruct_v there_o be_v these_o reason_n first_o when_o he_o send_v for_o they_o he_o call_v they_o presbyter_n and_o not_o bishop_n which_o if_o there_o have_v be_v no_o difference_n he_o may_v as_o well_o have_v do_v and_o suppose_v that_o the_o holy_a ghost_n must_v
