church_n to_o be_v by_o divine_a right_n establish_v as_o may_v be_v second_o in_o this_o rule_n you_o require_v that_o the_o practice_n but_o not_o the_o ground_n of_o the_o practice_n be_v hold_v out_o why_o both_o these_o two_o shall_v not_o be_v hold_v out_o when_o they_o may_v clear_o be_v gather_v up_o i_o see_v not_o for_o will_v not_o the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o ground_n always_o make_v for_o any_o warrantable_a ground_n of_o the_o same_o which_o will_v yield_v but_o small_a comfort_n to_o any_o in_o that_o practice_n sir_n you_o know_v that_o kind_n of_o demonstration_n have_v ever_o be_v hold_v in_o the_o school_n to_o be_v most_o scientifical_a in_o which_o 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d man_n proceed_v from_o the_o cause_n to_o the_o effect_n and_o from_o the_o essence_n of_o the_o thing_n to_o demonstrate_v the_o passion_n of_o the_o same_o and_o why_o shall_v not_o that_o rule_n hold_v here_o for_o when_o man_n see_v the_o ground_n upon_o which_o the_o than_o it_o must_v be_v suppose_v that_o upon_o prudentiall_a consideration_n the_o rule_n be_v carry_v no_o high_a than_o iâ—_n may_v be_v yet_o why_o shall_v not_o the_o ground_n of_o this_o it_o may_v be_v be_v hold_v out_o as_o well_o as_o the_o practice_n can_v there_o be_v more_o lordly_a and_o domineer_a power_n exercise_v over_o the_o conscience_n of_o man_n then_o to_o prescribe_v unto_o they_o in_o matter_n of_o the_o great_a concernment_n the_o practice_n of_o that_o of_o which_o there_o be_v no_o ground_n oâ—_n the_o ground_n thereof_o be_v not_o fit_a to_o be_v hold_v out_o these_o may_v be_v gather_v out_o of_o practice_v record_v in_o scripture_n why_o may_v it_o not_o be_v admit_v though_o we_o read_v not_o of_o the_o institution_n totidem_fw-la verbis_fw-la it_o be_v true_a we_o read_v of_o a_o injunction_n give_v by_o christ_n to_o his_o church_n to_o baptise_v but_o whether_o in_o water_n or_o any_o other_o liquor_n it_o be_v not_o particular_o let_v down_o
