profess_v our_o reverence_n and_o affect_v the_o understanding_n as_o much_o as_o those_o forementioned_a if_o it_o be_v reply_v that_o to_o pray_v cover_v be_v not_o decent_a and_o therefore_o it_o may_v be_v forbid_v because_o the_o magistrate_n may_v make_v constitution_n about_o decency_n i_o reply_v that_o it_o be_v â—ndecent_a only_o because_o it_o signify_v not_o â—â—e_z reverence_n and_o by_o consequence_n the_o magistrate_n may_v require_v other_o significative_a ceremony_n which_o he_o think_v necessary_a to_o decency_n because_o necessary_a to_o signify_v due_a devotion_n whether_o they_o be_v real_o necessary_a or_o no_o concern_v not_o the_o question_n but_o whether_o he_o real_o think_v they_o to_o be_v so_o for_o his_o own_o conscience_n must_v guide_v he_o in_o his_o own_o acts._n if_o therefore_o he_o think_v it_o necessary_a to_o express_v the_o separation_n and_o high_a order_n of_o the_o priest_n from_o the_o people_n that_o he_o shall_v wear_v a_o surplis_n whereby_o he_o may_v be_v put_v in_o mind_n of_o his_o duty_n both_o to_o god_n and_o the_o people_n and_o they_o of_o their_o respect_n to_o god_n through_o he_o as_o the_o messenger_n of_o god_n to_o be_v nothing_o can_v just_o deny_v he_o this_o authority_n oblige_v the_o subject_n except_o they_o be_v forbid_v by_o god_n law_n to_o be_v use_v which_o whosoever_o will_v undertake_v to_o
