any_o part_n of_o their_o godliness_n or_o any_o good_a fruit_n evidence_n or_o sign_n thereof_o but_o certain_a it_o be_v four_a that_o the_o godly_a man_n be_v man_n and_o know_v but_o in_o part_n and_o by_o the_o power_n of_o godliness_n in_o their_o heart_n be_v no_o more_o secure_v from_o the_o possibility_n of_o fall_v into_o error_n through_o ignorance_n then_o from_o the_o possibility_n of_o fall_v into_o sin_n through_o infirmity_n and_o as_o for_o tenderness_n of_o conscience_n five_o a_o most_o gracious_a bless_a fruit_n of_o the_o holy_a spirit_n of_o god_n where_o it_o be_v real_o and_o not_o in_o pretence_n only_o nor_o mistake_v for_o sure_o it_o be_v no_o very_o tender_a conscience_n though_o sometime_o call_v so_o that_o strain_v at_o a_o gnat_n and_o swallow_v a_o camel_n it_o be_v with_o it_o as_o with_o other_o tender_a thing_n very_o subject_a to_o receive_v harm_n and_o soon_o put_v out_o of_o order_n through_o the_o cunning_a of_o satan_n it_o dangerous_o expose_v man_n to_o temptation_n on_o the_o right_a hand_n and_o through_o its_o own_o aptitude_n to_o entertain_v and_o to_o cherish_v unnecessary_a scruple_n it_o strong_o dispose_v they_o to_o listen_v thereunto_o so_o long_o till_o at_o the_o last_o they_o be_v overcome_v thereof_o needful_a it_o be_v therefore_o that_o in_o the_o public_a teach_v the_o error_n shall_v be_v sometime_o refute_v and_o the_o temptation_n discover_v and_o this_o ever_o to_o be_v do_v seasonable_o sober_o discreet_o and_o convince_o and_o when_o we_o be_v to_o deal_v with_o man_n who_o conscience_n be_v it_o be_v obedience_n formal_o that_o be_v require_v ceremony_n not_o otherwise_o press_v then_o as_o the_o matter_n wherein_o that_o obedience_n be_v to_o be_v exercise_v if_o a_o master_n appoint_v his_o servant_n to_o do_v some_o small_a matter_n that_o he_o think_v fit_a to_o have_v do_v though_o in_o itself_o of_o no_o great_a moment_n yet_o he_o will_v expect_v to_o be_v obey_v and_o it_o be_v great_a reason_n he_o shall_v if_o in_o such_o case_n the_o servant_n shall_v resufe_v to_o do_v the_o thing_n appoint_v because_o he_o have_v no_o mind_n thereunto_o and_o shall_v receive_v a_o check_n or_o correction_n for_o such_o refusal_n can_v he_o either_o sufficient_o excuse_v his_o own_o fault_n or_o reasonable_o complain_v of_o his_o master_n for_o deal_v hardly_o with_o he_o by_o either_o in_o the_o one_o or_o the_o other_o arise_v not_o proper_o from_o the_o authority_n of_o the_o immediate_a lawgiver_n but_o from_o the_o ordinance_n of_o god_n who_o have_v command_v we_o restitution_n and_o be_v by_o god_n help_n ready_a with_o their_o tongue_n pen_n and_o suffering_n to_o maintain_v and_o justify_v the_o lawful_a use_n of_o the_o same_o do_v yet_o so_o far_o yield_v to_o the_o sway_n of_o the_o time_n and_o be_v persuade_v they_o may_v with_o a_o good_a conscience_n so_o do_v as_o to_o forbear_v the_o use_n thereof_o in_o the_o public_a worship_n till_o it_o shall_v seem_v good_a to_o those_o that_o be_v in_o place_n of_o authority_n either_o to_o restore_v they_o to_o their_o former_a state_n as_o it_o be_v well_o hope_v when_o they_o shall_v have_v due_o consider_v the_o evil_a consequent_n of_o that_o vote_n they_o will_v or_o at_o leastwise_o and_o in_o the_o mean_a time_n to_o leave_v they_o arbitrary_a for_o man_n according_a to_o their_o several_a different_a judgement_n to_o use_v or_o not_o to_o use_v which_o seem_v but_o reasonable_a the_o like_a favour_n and_o liberty_n in_o other_o kind_n have_v be_v long_o allow_v to_o almost_o all_o other_o sort_n of_o man_n though_o of_o never_o so_o distant_a persuasion_n one_o from_o another_o last_o that_o all_o law_n make_v concern_v ceremony_n or_o other_o indifferent_a thing_n whether_o civil_a or_o ecclesiastical_a be_v mutable_a and_o as_o they_o be_v at_o first_o make_v by_o humane_a authority_n so_o may_v they_o from_o time_n to_o time_n be_v by_o humane_a authority_n abrogate_a and_o repeal_v and_o then_o and_o thenceforth_o they_o lose_v their_o obligation_n whereby_o the_o necessity_n of_o yield_a obedience_n thereunto_o whole_o cease_v and_o determine_v and_o the_o thing_n thereby_o command_v or_o prohibit_v return_v to_o their_o primitive_a and_o natural_a indifferency_n even_o in_o their_o use_n also_o and_o in_o respect_n of_o we_o but_o in_o the_o case_n of_o our_o church_n now_o it_o be_v far_o orherwise_o cap_n surplice_n cross_n ring_n and_o other_o ceremony_n which_o be_v the_o matter_n of_o our_o difference_n though_o they_o be_v thing_n indifferent_a for_o their_o nature_n and_o in_o themselves_o yet_o be_v not_o so_o for_o their_o use_n and_o unto_o we_o if_o the_o church_n have_v be_v silent_a if_o authority_n have_v prescribe_v nothing_o herein_o these_o ceremony_n have_v then_o remain_v for_o their_o use_n as_o they_o be_v for_o their_o nature_n indifferent_a lawful_a and_o such_o as_o may_v be_v use_v without_o sin_n and_o yet_o arbitrary_a and_o such_o as_o may_v be_v also_o forbear_v without_o sin_n but_o man_n mus●_n grant_v though_o they_o be_v unwilling_a if_o yet_o they_o will_v be_v reasonable_a that_o every_o particular_a church_n hat●_n power_n for_o decency_n a_o order_n sake_n to_o ordain_v and_o constitute_v ceremony_n which_o be_v once_o ordain_v and_o by_o public_a authority_n enjoin_v cease_v to_o give_v to_o christian_a liberty_n it_o be_v so_o slender_a a_o conceit_n that_o it_o seem_v to_o bewray_v in_o the_o objector_n a_o desire_n not_o so_o much_o of_o satisfaction_n as_o cavil_v for_o first_o the_o liberty_n of_o a_o christian_a to_o all_o indifferent_a thing_n be_v in_o the_o mind_n and_o conscience_n and_o be_v then_o infringe_v when_o the_o conscience_n be_v bind_v and_o
